Trans Archaeology. Just effing no. I'm not opposed to opening the archaeological world to trans individuals, but I think they'd do their discipline much better by burying themselves with a written history identifying themselves as trans for the archaeologists who will uncover and study them in the future. That would prevent a lot of unnecessary future disputes about whether or not some crumbling remains were those of a trans person. Get started with that soon, and make your discipline useful.
The Richard Head Institute (Okay, yes, William Head, but tell me calling it the Richard Head Institute doesn't make so much more sense) should be soundly applauded about the head and shoulders with a brickbat for their work in the field of Wasting Taxpayer Money. While I understand that the Canadian and provincial governments are determined to be world leaders in the Wasting Taxpayer Money category, this is a relatively inefficient method of doing so. Just forcibly transition all inmates and then in a week forcibly transition them back and then ask them a legion of questions about what they learned about the lives of trans people from the process. This will raise Canadian prestige in two areas: Wasting Taxpayer Money and Collecting Worthless Information. It might slightly elevate their status in the Cruel And Unusual Medical Practices area, except their Euthanasia For Everyday Ailments and Sorry You're Suffering, We'll Make It Worse medical programs already have them fairly firmly in the lead.
