I need one. I bought a downrigger weight and tied a small rope to it and a quick release. Same concept but more work. Lol This is probably a dumb question but when you're trolling,do you use both engines or just one and alternate them through the day?
Jeremy are yalls mounted to the boat? or do you guys have the rod holder ones? I have an old cannon set but I lost the base for them when i sold my old boat. not sure if i wanna add a new base plate or get the ones that go in the rod holders. thanks man
When you say snubber are you talking about a rubber ball in the line? I had heard those were used on wire to dampen the hum it makes in the water. Since I use mono I didn’t need it.

Go with the rod holder ones
The boat came with them mounted but I would prefer the ones that go in a rod holder for more flexibility.
Nice video. Any reason you didn’t mention using a snubber between the weight and the downrigger line?

Is it possible to troll hard bait lures on a down rigger? What speed you prefer trolling hard baits
