Wonderful reaction! When you have time, please react to another great song: “Caruso” (in Italian) - just phenomenal! It's performed live (Lara is at her best when performing live in front of an audience) from this same concert: “From Lara With Love" (every song from this concert is a masterpiece, truly!) Here's the link to a high quality video: (subtitles available) ua-cam.com/video/BP2KnLemT78/v-deo.htmlsi=21kXtL7AOPJkU9cE Thank you in advance!
As you already made Dimash's cover of her "Adagio", I think the logical next should be the original from Lara. And as other people already said, always listen Lara live, she's always at her best on stage. For Adagio I would recommend her version of the same concert "From Lara with love". Ready to discover the power of her voice ? cause you only saw a little sample with the last 30 seconds of this one 😉
"I adore Lara because she is emotionally indecent, she will never hesitate to do what the story requires, she doesn't care how she looks or what would the others think, she delivers the message"
Lol!!!...What a beautiful reaction my friends!!!...We loved it!!!....And we love The Goddess Lara Fabian too!!...Thank you for accept our suggestions to finally meet her!!...Now you can understand why she is the Dimash's idol and inspiration for many and many others artists around the world!!...She is the best LIVE, so please always react to her incredible LIVE performances....Welcome and I hope you keep going with The Goddess Lara Fabian!!!....We need more😊😊!!!....A big hug for you!!!
Love seeing first timers...great reaction. You will never forget this. The day you found Lara, and started to wonder how on earth I could have missed this giant. Lara is least well known, at least in the US, of the legends of the last 30 years. Anyway...You do one more song of hers and you will enter a life long relationship with Lara and join her very global, massive crowd of adoring fans. (she has sung at last count in 12 languages - a true polyglot). The Queen, long may she reign.
There are and have been a lot of powerful singers in our world, but Lara stands out as a superstar on her own level. She doesn't just set the bar...she IS the bar! She is the closest thing to the goddess of music that there is. She is multitalented and a fantastic songwriter as well as vocalist and performer. She is amazing as you will discover...because there is no way now to not continue the Lara Fabian journey.
Always do reactions of her live, for starters from her concert "from Lara w love". She will captivate you with any song she sings also find any that she has written too. Welcome to the amazing world that is Lara Fabian!!! I can't get enough of this "You are Not From Here" Lara Fabian world!!!
You've just begun on a journey of a lifetime with this voice. Love your reaction....can't wait to see more...you'll want to watch the concert series videos when you react....From Lara with Love
Well, you just won the lottery, this is the best female performer of this century. More than 30 million albums sold, play piano, 16 albums, Wrote more than 200 songs and at 54 yo she just started an another world tour; She is well known in New York, always sold out the same day, but the rest of the USA have no clue who she is, i will let others tell you that story in regards of the criminal Sony music and friends. Also speaks 4 languages and sings in 12 of them, she is a major star in Europe, Russia and mid-asia, Was also #1 in Brasil
Agree completely! I've seen her live two years ago and it was simply great. It was some 700 km away, but worth every penny! This year she was in the "neighbourhood" again, but I couldn't go since I got sick. I gave the ticket to a friend of mine who has never heard her and she became a huge fan.
She has the rest of the world😊 You know the reason why she is not huge in the rest of the US? Celine Dion had her record company block her breaking in to the US market. She is that good that someone with a voice like Celine feared her. We absolutely love her here in Europe😊
“Je suis Malade”, now a french classic, was written by famous French singer & songwriter Serge Lama together with composer/singer Alice Dona in 1973. This is based on his own experience and he was the original performer, hence some lyrics are a bit male-oriented (eg my mother leaves me, whiskies, I pour my blood in your body, …). When Serge Lama had a dinner with Alice Dona and told her about his obsessive love that was leading to a road block, she came back home and composed the music in a couple of hours. The morning after, she presented him the music and he wrote the lyrics in … 20 minutes. Serge Lama was the original performer in 1973, it started to be promoted on the radio, and the song was brought to fame only when, a few months after, Dalida covered it. She was an absolute mega star in France, another emotional powerhouse, and this song resonated very much with her own feelings. Her success with this song transformed it into a french classic, and started to make it famous abroad. But it is Lara Fabian that really made this song a very popular song in many countries with her cover in the mid 90s. At that time Dalida had already passed away, but Serge Lama was (and is) still alive. Dalida and Serge were two inspirations for Lara, so she sent an audio copy to Serge of her version. She was unknown at that time in France but he was so impressed with her vocal skills and her emotions rendering that he invited her in France to sing it as a duet during his own Paris concert in January 1995. It was a triumph. So he sat in a front row seat and asked her to sing it again alone. Lara also had made some subtle changes to the song that gave it even more power. Serge and Lara became good friends and performed several other duets later on. The 1999 version ("From Lara with Love" Concert in Montreal) ua-cam.com/video/eHSyk4SGtuY/v-deo.html is legendary internationally and has attracted many artists to do a cover, even from non french-speaking countries. The most recent ones I am aware of are from italian singer Giulia Falcone, from the korean singer Choi Sung Hoon or from the korean band Forestella. Lara is used to perform the song very differently in each of her tour and for instance the En Toute Intimité, 2003, Paris Olympia version is even more dramatic ua-cam.com/video/SyILdRAOS88/v-deo.html
"Adagio" & "Broken Vow" are her originals in English. "Caruso" is perfection! She is one of Dimash's idols. She wrote the words to Dimash's "Your Love". She is the most emotional singer I have ever heard. Do more of her songs please!
One of the most underrated singers in the world, in 1988, she was the lead singer in a band that appeared in the EUROVISION, which was a famous year because Celine Dion sang for Switzerland, and won with one point, Lara I think 4th or 5th, will have to watch on UA-cam to make sure, Lara studied Opera and modern music in Belgium, her mother was Italian, her father Belgium, French and Italian are her main languages, her English is perfect, she lives in Canada with her husband and daughter, and performs all over Europe, Italy, France, Belgium, she has performed in Russia many times, I don't know why she is not known in England that well, she has originals in English and covers, but this is is why she is the most underrated singer out there, I love her voice over Celine's, it has more timber, when she sings ADAGGIO that she helped translate into English from Italian, just fantastic, again from the 1999 concert in Canada from Lara with love, then an original from Lara called BROKEN VOW, covered by many, even Mori, then the song CARUSO in Italy, you can see the Operatic training, while singing in France the song Je T' aime, the audience took over in harmony, bringing Lara to tears, absolutely beautiful, I think of the reasons why she didn't take off in the USA and UK was, Celine had just hit it big in the USA and Europa, I think the record companys where not sure at the time if the market could handle another power vocals, at the time we had Whitney, Mariah and Celine, luckily for Lara Italy and France were open to Lara's music, even in Germany, Lara's music was played on the radio, I actually watched the 1988 EUROVISION, and it was the last time too, it went down hill from there on, but at least Lara and Celine came out good, ENJOY.
🇨🇦 Lara was born in Belgium but moved to Canada to start her career ! She is fluent in 4 languages (French, Italian, Spanish and English) but can sing in 12 languages ! Lara writes, sings, arranges and produces many of her own performances ! Try reacting to "Quedate" in Spanish, "Caruso" on Italian or to "You're not from here" in English ! Also, one of her best songs (covered by many singers including Dimash) is "Adagio" ! 🇨🇦
There is a first time reaction to a song, and then there is a first time reaction to an artist, and the latter is priceless, when that artist is Lara Fabian. It's just special to see folks accidentally stumble upon the greatest female singer, vocalist, stage performer and storyteller of all time. All the chills, goosebumps, grown men crying, jaws dropping to the floor, stunned silence - all these types of reactions come to light when people listen to The Ring for the first time.
She is the real beast live. Her performances from the same concert as this song are insane! "Adagio" --> ua-cam.com/video/bqoS-KOLV_4/v-deo.html "You're not from here" --> ua-cam.com/video/Vv8XFXKXRLI/v-deo.html "Perdere l'Amore" in Italian --> ua-cam.com/video/mcmhCfH9OfQ/v-deo.html "Caruso" --> ua-cam.com/video/BP2KnLemT78/v-deo.html "Quédate" in Spanish --> ua-cam.com/video/cX0CPdBV75E/v-deo.html
I loved the woman in her 30 year with her intensity and her vocal performances. I loved the 40 year old with her willingness to discover many different musical styles, always with a fabulous voice. And I love the woman in her 50s who has managed to preserve her voice through hard work, adapting to the evolution of her voice while retaining that little bit of enthusiasm and complicity that makes us melt. I will love you forever and ever Even if you start rap
Lara Fabian is a trained singer from Belgium, she started very young and has not stopped, she sings in more than 12 languages and speaks 5 languages as if she was born in that country, her father is Belgium and her mother was Italien whom she lost a few years ago, her are a few Songs from Lara Fabian, there is ADAGIO a original, then another favourite BROCKEN VOW writen by Lara and friends, sorry ADAGIO is in Italien and in English on her album, then there's Lara singing CARUSO only with a piano it's just fantastic, you hear her Opera training coming out, and the emotion she puts into the song on a small stage is chillingly beautiful, ENJOY. 😊
@@AttackTheGasStation1 they both sang at the EUROVISION SONG CONTEST in 1988 and Celine won for Switzerland with 1 point, Lara was 18 at the time and sung vocals for a group, her voice was amazing, but the song was ok, I think Lara was 5th not sure, the 1988 contest is on UA-cam, I know there is a Video with all the winners from the very beginning, ENJOY 😀
She's Belgium-Canadian: born in Belgium, Brussels, then went to Italy, met her boyfriend there, then came in Québec with him to start her career in Montréal (as did Céline Dion). The rest is History, one of the greatest female signer of our times, even in the triad.
Beautifully choice and reaction. You cannot go wrong with Lara. Not only she’s a great singer with an impeccable voice, but also a performer pours all of her emotions into what she does, not something you find often , specially now days. This reaction made me subb :)
I never understood why when I was a kid people used to criticize and mock her because she was apparently “too intense”. They also used to mock Celine for the same thing, but my GOD that is SING-ING!!! I don’t know a lot of songs about heartbreak in other languages that are that poignant tbh
Will you please react to Lara Fabian & Mario Frangoulis cover of Cole Porters So in Love from Kiss Me Kate? I would love to see your thoughts. Mario also have an amazing voice and is classically trained and has a beautiful cover of Knights in White Satin in Italian! Also to hear Lara Fabian's lyrical soprano side you need to listen to La Traviata!
One last point regarding Lara; she has been considered in the same category as Whitney, Celine & Mariah and was tagged to be the next Diva! Checkout VOCAL TRINITY - THE 4TH VOICE - LARA FABIAN ua-cam.com/video/TyB6vXDdZBY/v-deo.html
For your info Lara Fabian "I Will Love Again", hit No. 1 on the US Billboard Dance Music charts for 58 weeks in a row, 1999-2000, No other singer in the world was #1 on the US Billboard for so long, after that she was blocked by Sony Music on a command coming from Céline Dion s husband and Team, a bunch of criminals

Hi from France ! Thank you and welcome to the world of Lara, an incredible, talented, generous artist. I advise you to listen to other songs (preferably live) and you can never be disappointed. I would have the immense joy of going to see her in concert next year here in France, and it will be my first time, I am so happy to be able to attend the concert of one of my few favorite artists! He also covered other songs from Lara: Mademoiselle Hyde, Love of Tired Swans, Know/Vocalize. And she wrote with Igor Krutoy the song Your Love for him.
Let's call this episode "Lulu loses it over Lara." Without a doubt one of the finest vocal interpreters singing today, I first saw Lara when I lived in Brussels in the 1990s. Been a fan ever since. Her delicacy in styling and mannerisms are without equal; she teases out every line to bring emotions to the surface. Simply splendid.
Lara is wonderful, she’s also a multi linguist like Dimash. Lara and Dimash have collaborated in a few of his songs. Dimash, has mentioned on a few occasions that Lara is one of his biggest inspirations. You can tell in the way he is able to convey emotion like her. Igor Krutoy is the composer of both her and Dimash.
That's the sad story. When she was young, it was rumoured that the showbiz in the USA did not want a competitor to Celine. They offered her : the world....but not the USA market... It is why you are discovering her now almost 30 years later..🙁🙁🙁
Here are some different ones according to temperament. If you want full power from Lara, this is it Lara Fabian and Johnny Haleday - requiem pour un fou ua-cam.com/video/zR1rkt_0biA/v-deo.html or Perdere L'amore ua-cam.com/video/1KoTIOVA3Zo/v-deo.html If you want to talk about body posture, then it is Lara Fabian - Dites-Moi Pourquoi Je L'aime (Lara uusing sensualiti) ua-cam.com/video/-85T-iR7dfc/v-deo.html or Tango ua-cam.com/video/9p1UrKzYti0/v-deo.html Fantastic songs, lyrics, and great official videos there, worth both watching and listening to. watch "broken vow " with orchestra and "tu es mon autre" with lara and maurrane in 2003 in olympia too great song!!! " je t'aime " in live 2000 very intense
Lara speacks fluent 4 languages : French, English, Italian and Spanish and understands Dutch That is why Lara writes many times different lyrics in 2 or 3 languages on the same composition . Mara sings and records those different versions. ""Je suis malade"" in Italian : ""Sto male"" ua-cam.com/video/ShRBCT4l73E/v-deo.html
Lara Fabian is one of the best in the world, her voice and songs are wonderful. She is little known in the US thanks to Céline Dion's band, which blocked her from performing in the US for fear of undermining Céline's star status. Lara is very famous and appreciated by the rest of the world, unfortunately if someone does not appear in the US, she is marginalized and underestimated, even though the world loves her.
Lara Fabian is 1/2 Belgian- father and 1/2 Italian - mother .Born in Brussels but her childhood was in Sicily and adolescence in Belgium. She competed in Eurovision for Luxembourg in Dublin coming 4th which Celine Dion won representing Switzerland . She and collaborator Rick Allison moved to Quebec in 1991 where she had great regional success but Dion's management sabotaged all her efforts to gain an American audience. She holds Belgian and Canadian citizenship. She speaks 5 languages fluently and sings in 11 (so far). I think Italian is where her heart comes out most, with great theatricality and stage presence. I would recommend listening to Caruso or Perdere l'amore and see her Italian body language and passion. ua-cam.com/video/mcmhCfH9OfQ/v-deo.html
Glad that you found Lara. I actually found her a year ago, heard Broken Vow (Josh Groban) in early 2000s didn't know Lara wrote the lyrics until last year! Other performers you might want to check out are Lucy Thomas (20 from the U.K.) and Tori Holub (20) if you like the Carpenters checkout her We Only Just Begun (you'll be surprise) Lucy cover live of At Last - ua-cam.com/video/pUibRGhsOo0/v-deo.html Tori - Carpenter cover - ua-cam.com/video/J95lfJqo9VY/v-deo.html
Hello dears, This way of singing is the old French school way of singing, like did Édith Piaf (Milord, La foule, etc.) Jacques Brel (Ne me quite pas, Ces gens-là, Amsterdam, etc.) Charles Aznavour (Emmenez-moi, Comme ils disent, Je m'voyais déjà, etc.), Léo Ferré (Avec le temps, Le chien, etc.), and also now with Singers like Slimane or Babara Pravi and others. This ability to become the character of the song they have to interpret, like could do an actor in a movie scene. Peace, folks. ☮👈😎
Things you NEED to react to (for difference reasons): nightwish with love ghost score in Wacken, Lara Fabien je suis malade, Dimash with SOS the digital show, jinjer with phishes the live session, falling in reverse the MV popular monster, disturb with sound of silence (live Conan or MV),...
Find out more about this song check the info from Eric Sicard in your Comments list. Potential performance artists should draw from Lara's knowledge, experience and expertise. She has 100% become my Queen in the field as music performing artist. Writing her own songs, she has quickly become one of my favorite female composers - and she has written so many, I wish I could get hold of some or all. I like your reaction. It's so cool.
Lara's closest comparison is Celine Dion in terms of English and French songs, but with respect to Celine, Lara's better. Which is why Celine's people used her label to keep Lara from getting into the US market. There's a reason that Dimash counts Lara as one of his biggest idols as he was growing up, why he covered so many of her songs, and why he had several duets with her, even close to the end of her decades long career! Just like Dimash she's a super emotional singer, leaves everything on the stage, gives everything to her fans, and is super humble. In her unguarded moments she is super adorable and funny too. Her fans absolutely love her to pieces, just like Dimash's fan base love him. Please continue to react to her songs. You won't regret it. But choose the versions that are LIVE. She's one of the few artists who are even better live than in a video or in a studio. That's how talented she is and how much emotion she grabs from the audience.
Hello guys... and welcome into Lara's rabbit hole! Your next step into it should be "Adagio" (the live version from the very same concert you've just reacted to). ua-cam.com/video/bqoS-KOLV_4/v-deo.html

Lara is used to perform the song very differently in each of her tour and for instance the En Toute Intimité, 2003, Paris Olympia version is even more dramatic

Lara Fabian is belgian no French she is born in Bruxelles
@@ValerieWillems-k7h where did I say she is french??
She is Belgian and Canadian, with, in addition, italian, flemish and even american roots.
Whelcome to Lara's world! There's no turning back!
But lara Fabian remains Belgian 🇧🇪
Welcome to the World of Lara. And yes, she brings the tears

Look at her in the end of the performance, not the song, she is shaking, she is still in the song.
She's also exhausted; this song takes a lot of energy.
I will love you forever and ever
Even if you start rap
This is a masterclass Performing. But who can ? And who dares to dive this deep in emotions.
Υπέροχη η αντίδραση σας στην βασίλισσα μας. Είναι η φωνή από άλλον πλανήτη όπως την αποκάλεσαν μεγάλοι μουσικοί στήν Αμερική. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Lara Fabian and Céline Dion both became world famous in France.
She sings in 12 languages.
You should react to Adagio and Broken Vow from the same Concert .
Good job guys
I went to see her live this week and she is still amazing.
J'adore votre émotion pour la chanson Française qui est certainement une des plus émouvante et belle au monde !! ❤🟦⬜🟥
Thankyou for a great reaction. Please do some more Lara. Try listening to her Italian with Caruso
Maravillosa Lara ❤❤❤❤
Beautifully choice and reaction. You cannot go wrong with Lara. Not only she’s a great singer with an impeccable voice, but also a performer pours all of her emotions into what she does, not something you find often , specially now days. This reaction made me subb :)
She is the one who sang Adagio in 2000. Y'all mentioned Dimash, he also does an amazing cover of Adagio too. Both versions are extremely powerful.
She wrote the lyrics of Adagio as well.
I never understood why when I was a kid people used to criticize and mock her because she was apparently “too intense”. They also used to mock Celine for the same thing, but my GOD that is SING-ING!!! I don’t know a lot of songs about heartbreak in other languages that are that poignant tbh
I'm a french heavy metal singer and i can't help but cry when i hear this song.....
La puissance de la musique. ❤

I had read something about that--that her career in America was definitely affected by Celine Dions team.Very unfortunate.
You guys need to review “Broken Vow” by Lara. Make sure you have a box of tissues handy.
She is beyond amazing.....enjoy the journey
muito bom !!! sou fã da Lara.
Googled: "I Will Love Again" is a song by Canadian-Belgian singer Lara Fabian. It was released as the second single of her self-titled album in 2000 and was her first English single. The song was written by Mark Taylor and Paul Barry and was produced by Taylor and Brian Rawling.
"I Will Love Again" reached number five in Belgium's Wallonia region and number eight in New Zealand. In the United States, the song topped the US Billboard Dance Club Play chart and peaked at number 32 on the Billboard Hot 100. Elsewhere, the single reached the top 20 in Austria, Canada, France, Hungary, Iceland, Spain, and Switzerland.
ua-cam.com/video/RuNPZwN13Q0/v-deo.html - from the same concert as Je Suis Malade "From Lara with Love" other songs from this concert include Adagio, Perdere L'amore, Caruso, Quedate, Love by Grace...ended the concert with Broken Vow. Lara's was living in Canada after leaving Belgium at 19. This concert was a PBS production an was to be broadcast in primetime but was pushed back at the behest of another singer's management team who was already a Diva with the same record company. Lara sings in 12 languages, speaks 4 fluently and writes lyrics in 4 (Broken Vow, Adagio, Always (from the movie A.I. sung during the ending credits with Josh Groban and Lara), Je T'aime (I Love You) her signature song and many many more.
Merci pour cette belle réaction.❤

Hi from France ! Thank you and welcome to the world of Lara, an incredible, talented, generous artist. I advise you to listen to other songs (preferably live) and you can never be disappointed. He also covered other songs from Lara: Mademoiselle Hyde, Love of Tired Swans, Know/Vocalize.
And she wrote with Igor Krutoy the song Your Love for him.
Let's call this episode "Lulu loses it over Lara."
Without a doubt one of the finest vocal interpreters singing today, I first saw Lara when I lived in Brussels in the 1990s. Been a fan ever since.
Her delicacy in styling and mannerisms are without equal; she teases out every line to bring emotions to the surface.
Simply splendid.
we hope it's not the last time , she's top :D this woman has the rare ability to convey emotions :)
Lara is wonderful, she’s also a multi linguist like Dimash. Lara and Dimash have collaborated in a few of his songs. Dimash, has mentioned on a few occasions that Lara is one of his biggest inspirations. You can tell in the way he is able to convey emotion like her. Igor Krutoy is the composer of both her and Dimash.
hi she is the inspiration for dimash , and exists a video who dimes sing with her . you know the song adagio it' her song
That's the sad story. When she was young, it was rumoured that the showbiz in the USA did not want a competitor to Celine. They offered her : the world....but not the USA market... It is why you are discovering her now almost 30 years later..🙁🙁🙁

She can also sing in English (Broken vowel) and Italian (Perdere l`amoe) 😊
Amusing little (harmless) mistake there, since Lara is so well known within the music industry for her deftness with vowel enunciation.
Next up: Adagio from the same concert: from Lara with love
watch "broken vow " with orchestra and "tu es mon autre" with lara and maurrane in 2003 in olympia too great song!!! " je t'aime " in live 2000 very intense
Lara is fabulous! Please also react to SIA - Soon We'll Be Found - live at David Letterman! Stunning performance!
Lara speacks fluent 4 languages : French, English, Italian and Spanish and understands Dutch
That is why Lara writes many times different lyrics in 2 or 3 languages on the same composition .
Mara sings and records those different versions.
""Je suis malade"" in Italian : ""Sto male""

Lara Fabian is one of the best in the world, her voice and songs are wonderful. She is little known in the US thanks to Céline Dion's band, which blocked her from performing in the US for fear of undermining Céline's star status. Lara is very famous and appreciated by the rest of the world, unfortunately if someone does not appear in the US, she is marginalized and underestimated, even though the world loves her.
I was in, with you, it s good that you didn t cut, it helps
I would recommend listening to Caruso or Perdere l'amore and see her Italian body language and passion. ua-cam.com/video/mcmhCfH9OfQ/v-deo.html
wow American and THIS COUPLE lets listen
broken vow it s fantastic too ! look
So underrated, the best I have ever heard. Check out Adagio. Love her
Glad that you found Lara. I actually found her a year ago, heard Broken Vow (Josh Groban) in early 2000s didn't know Lara wrote the lyrics until last year!
Other performers you might want to check out are Lucy Thomas (20 from the U.K.) and Tori Holub (20) if you like the Carpenters checkout her We Only Just Begun (you'll be surprise)

Listen to her.. Perdere l amore !
Hello dears,
This way of singing is the old French school way of singing, like did Édith Piaf (Milord, La foule, etc.) Jacques Brel (Ne me quite pas, Ces gens-là, Amsterdam, etc.) Charles Aznavour (Emmenez-moi, Comme ils disent, Je m'voyais déjà, etc.), Léo Ferré (Avec le temps, Le chien, etc.), and also now with Singers like Slimane or Babara Pravi and others. This ability to become the character of the song they have to interpret, like could do an actor in a movie scene.
Peace, folks. ☮👈😎
Please, Adagio from Lara Fabian concert . Thanks from France
Lara Fabien come from to Belgique but she’s really start her career to Montreal Quebec

❤
She is beter than Celine in my opinion!! Great singer that tells you the story and who has an incredible voice!!
Adagio next❤❤❤
omg ! i love your faces :D
She is french!
