This is the content I can really dig 💪 no flogging the cars or unnecessary ripping of the tracks, simple yet killer cooking and laid back attitudes to boot. Top episode gents! For me, this sh!ts on a certain 4WD channel 👀😂
Never mind Liam. It is a show car and you are showing us what it can do. It's always been a relief to put the first one on it. Gets rid of all that fear. You can relax and drive comfortably now. There are harder things in life to deal with like teaching Paddy to cook. 😂
Once again great content. No fake drama, no tearing up tracks and breaking vehicle for the sake of entertainment, just a couple of young blokes out enjoying and respecting the bush.
@@AussieArvos Hi Patrick, Regarding the dent in door of Liam’s vehicle, dent buster type of stuff would most likely improve it by 90 % ? Dent on toolbox lid would hammer out. Love the channel. 👍
It’s good seeing people talk about weight and weight distribution. It’s way more important then the canopy sponsored channels like to admit. Part of the reason I believe in my wrangler’s abilities so much is because of how my 97 Grand Cherokee ate up tracks on 32s just because it was only 1.6 tonne
Lovely work fellas, GQs still a beautiful car looks tougher now. At least your using it for what it's built for they are so much fun to drive in the bush👍👍
I remember my first new vehicle, I expected to keep it mint which is impossible when you use your vehicle regularly and don't pay to get it detailed. That's life when you choose to use your vehicle as it was intended to be used opposed to show boating. Of course, the alternative is to detail it or fix it as soon as an issue occurs. Unless you're made of money, it's not going to happen Liam so just enjoy the vehicle and cherish the positive memories which will offset any damage. Thanks for sharing.
As for the damage to the Patrol. Here is another way to look @ it Liam. You built it for a purpose. So when it comes to do a freshen up on it you will do it a little different. You guys are doing what so many don't do. What would you rather, spend a heap of money on your 4wd & not go to these awesome places & maybe end up with a few dents & dings? When I bought a pretty serious mountain bike, I had a house mate scuff the frame up by ramming the wheelie bin carelessly past it & that really pissed me off, it was so unnecessary. But when i roughed it up out on the tracks it did not bother me anywhere as much. I bought it for that type of riding & minor damage @ some point is likely no matter how cafeful you are.
Sundown, that spot on the river..... One of my favourite spots for a multi day / night camps. No civilization, just Goannas, Roos' nice river for swimming....... It's on my permanent list of destination every year.
dont wash the cab ,hard to see the dent when its dirty. boys you are definitely covering some awesome country ,magnificent views.and roast dinner looked good and easy, good job again
Ooo no a bloody dent you're christening the car 😮 , that's another video how to fix dents mate 👍 I love how them possums are stalking the camp to raid it while your asleep
3:05 hey next time you're at Coles, go to the isle with the pots and pans and look for the Decor oil sprayer - works out to be cheaper then buying oil spray each time
Awwwh Liam I could feel your disappointment!! But think of the alternative, that scrape didn't effect your tyres, which would have been a big pain in the bum too! LOL
Don't worry about the dint , it's a scare, and every time you look at it you will remember sundowner national Park and the good times you spent there. Don't fix it.

For mine, I'm always trying to keep weight down, mostly its the tools and spares I never use that is my bulk weight. I'm trimming that down and I wouldn't have a 1/3 of what you carry! I do run 35s though so have more clearance than you and flex more than yours also, still with a 2" lift. Another reason I haven't gone crazy on 12v and fridges and drawers yet, still looking for the ultimate off-roading and touring lightest setup possible with everything I need not what I want, its a journey, but man do I feel for your big girl 80, she's carrying the gear and the mule! Oh mate I feel you. A year ago I bought my dream car. A 2014 FJ Cruiser that was so mint it didn't have a finger print on it. First trip I drove over a branch and it flicked up and dented a panel right on a crease and I can't get it out. I was sick to to stomach.
Yea getting a dent in a fresh paint job really does suck but, if people cant handle it then 4wding isnt their thing. You blokes are doing pretty good though. I loved the looks of your pooey. Very clean and tidy. When I got my bus, most money I had spent on a vehicle in my life. I ended up with massive pinstripes within the first 2 weeks. It was initially devestating but I figured I can polish it out or get a respray oneday so until then, it looks like I have been driving through a cactus field and I'm no longer bothered by it. 😅
Did ya put higher rated springs in the Landcruiser when you added the long range tank ? could help out with those wheel lifts, and dents etc. are memories...
Poor Liam denting his car.. and now his bucket list item of doing little/big red is gone too since it’s been bulldozed! Another great video guys. Just one thing I’ve noticed for awhile is that your voiceovers with music seem to be a bit on the quiet side which makes it hard to hear what you are saying (like at the end of this video). Keep up the good work!
Shame about the dint. But lucky it didn't go through the paint. But with the type of wheeling you like to do, its bound to happen sooner or later. Chalk this as its first battle scar.
Dents in 4x4s (although annoying to the owner), show that you DO get out there and use it for its intended purpose. Reach 40+yo mate and your body will look the same. Just memories and stories… and thats ALL that matters mate 👍 Enjoy the car that makes the memories and don’t be too precious out it ✌️
