PS4S’s are super great. I use a set as my Autumn/Winter tyres and then switch to another set of wheels with Cup 2’s on them for the Spring/Summer and trackdays and Nurburgring trips. The Cup 2’s are really something else. Not only do they grip, actually work fine in the wet but the steering feel to the road is vastly improved.
take fluids with you, oil/water/brake fluid. Also something to check tyre pressures. Make sure you have RAC/AA as well, they may not pickup from a track but if you are down the road ;P when you need picking up you will be fine (just in case you have a major issue) looking forward to some track updates (y)
Great video mate! Just picked up my 2020 308 GTi the other day and it's bloody fantastic. Picks up so strongly and I didn't expect the whoosh sound on the upshift from around 3000rpm. I also think the digital cockpit display is really nice. Exhaust could be 'angrier' sounding but perhaps one day I'll look at a resonator delete haha. Otherwise it sounds great in both sport and non sport so really cannot complain.
Hey mate, same car, had the same issue with damaged wheels after referb, with mine they took a chunk out of it, zero recourse, just never give them custom again, think fitting your own tyres going forward and get them balanced in a shop.
Amateurs. Didn’t they realise the tyres come off from the rear of the gti wheels. Cars looking perfect you should come down to the Peugeot festival at Prescott.
@@xiolage thanks, did you order from the dealer? Is it a Pierburg part? I recently changed my auxillary water pump. Took a punt on a Pierburg item from autodoc and fortunately it was the OE part, just 50% off in comparison to the stealer.
Regarding the solenoid, I heard it wur-wurs because it’s got oil into it from the breather system. I had mine changed and it fixed the problem 👌👍
Ah that makes some more sense. Yep, cheap enough to replace none the less! 😁
Love to see it I’m slacking on getting on track no doubt the 308 will be great fun 👌🏼
You definitely need to join me on a track day!

I’d love a set of summer wheels with some cup 2s.. giving me ideas now 🤪😬

Epic advice, will remember to take all the above. I also do have breakdown cover (as shit as it probably is), it'll be better than nothing lol!

Amazing stuff, I really wish mine had the digital dash!
Had one for over 3 years, ace car! P.s exhaust is a lot louder outside the car, especially when opening it up. “Enjoy” 👊🏼🔥👍🏻
@@knighty6988 for sure mate and yeah, window down makes a difference!!
I can confirm, I have a lot of compliments about the noise from the outside when on the inside it barely sounds like anything!!

Yep, I think i’m gonna start looking into fitting my own tyres. 😅

not as fast as my caddy but close enough
It's a good job I love you.
Have you got the part number for the boost solenoid bro?, great vid as always 👊
1922V8, thanks dude 😎
@@xiolage Thanks
@@xiolage sir, where is this part located in the engine bay, please?
Go under the car, look through the gap where the exhaust joins to the exhaust manifold. It’s right there.
