If you have Netflix, ‘Breathe’ is worth watching.

I was a bit confused with Meryl Streep and her speech and what exactly she was meaning about the people of the disabled community and what she was really meaning?! I grew up with Meryl's oldest son played with him as a kid meet her many a times a very nice sweet women. I am just confused still about what her speech really meant!

That's really cool that you grew up knowing the family! My video was in no way about her character (which I know you know). Just simply trying to clarify for people that she was not advocating for or against us. It was IMO strictly a big "screw you" to Trump and advocating for journalism. She just happened to have a story (which may or may not, have happened, I wont get into that). But it involving a "disabled" person does normally tug at the proverbial heart strings lol. When she said that she wanted people to join "The committee for journalism to protect the truth"....to me THAT is what the speech was bout, nothing about the disabled. I was curious though what she meant when she said the guy was unable to defend himself. We will never know. Thanks for chiming in!

another great video I share your thoughts on the Meryl Streep speech My dad told me about it I watched it and confusedI think people read to much into things. as for that poor kid who was attacked it is sad as he probably was excited to included and those punks did that now, it's very very possible he will have trust issue.

I completely agree with everything you said! They said he wasn't doing good and I can understand that. So sad! And I didnt even mention that they put the whole incident out on FB LIVE!!!! So humiliating and infuriating!

She rcvd the Cecil B Demile lifetime award. If you look at many of the winners of this award are known for Pro Crime or Anti God movies/tv shows. Cecil B Demile was known for Bible Movies. Ironic.

I'm not familiar with a lot of these awards. Does it have to do with advocating for the disabled? I have absolutely nothing against her. Just simply stating she wasn't advocating for or against the disabled in the speech like some made it out to be. Thanks for your comment :)

Living Able, the video of Pres Elect Trump that she uses in her speech to attack about Trump attacking a Disabled Reporter, shows that he was not attacking the disability Trump even stated that the reporter is usually does a great report, but Trump was actually showing frustration of all reporters.
The interesting thing is NOT ONE in the Golden Globes spoke about the Attack by 4 Blacks attacking a white disabled man. The Actors like her / Meryl Steep only advocates for Disabled that fit her views on other topics.
I worked for a Disabled Group while in College (80's, in Seattle) we did not accept actors to be part of it, if they did not agree to insure they were not assisting only for photo situations to make them look good. This is all she does.

Yes that's pretty much exactly what I said in my video lol. she is NOT advocating for the disabled but journalism. If something thinks I was thinking she was they did not watch my video lol

Living Able, I was just replying to yur "I am not familiar to these awards". I think it was ironic that she instead talk about her movies (Which she can act) why she was getting the reward, spoke how she could not see how trump was acting and correct it had noting to do with advocating disabled, but her being upset that Hilary lost, but what is funny is Meryl did at one point was against Hilary.

People have a tendency to add, or subtract, things that aren't there. So people saying she (Streep)was an advocate for the disable, were just adding their spin, to what she said. Because people have their own take on people who are in the public eye. If you are a Fan or hate the person. What they say will be spun in yer head, to reflect that..
Much like if you are a fan of Gwen Stefani, and Blake shelton..You tend to vilify, Miranda Lambert, and Gavin Rossdale. Or the reverse..truth about them is closer to the Middle.. I see fans on both sides Pulling things out of the air not doing any research to backup a claim. Many just Blatantly calling Miranda\gwen or blake Vile names.. Point is we all spin things in our head, to suit our belief in people be it negative belief or positive..Pro Trump types ignore his 3-4 Bankruptcy's while anti trump types over state them..
On the Beating of the person with mental probs. these three sound like they are Psychopaths seeing a weak person they can exploit classic bully's weed out the weak and attack.. reason I took Karate so i would have a chance if attacked ..Being disabled we can't run from a fight
