Building my company while listening... many thanks for the aesthetic scenery and chill yet enthralling tunes 😎 and, a very nice change of pace from all the lofi I've listened to over the years. When I started listening to lofi channels, almost a decade ago, the tunes we're fresh and the chats were poppin. Now though, after exhausting all the normal lofis, video game lofis, movies lofis, classical music lofis, and everything else that I've listened to, TRULY, this is probably the first lofi I've come across where the creator seems to be "on their own journey" instead of just remixing something using an already well structured framework / set of tools and expectations. Not sure who the person is behind the videos but, please keep doing what you're doing and don't ever give up!! I know you have great things in mind for your future and I'm here for it :) Cheers

While I understand and empathize with the sentiment, consider the new life given to those that might not have been able to pursue the arts! Art is a privilege. Most can't afford to pursue it fully, or perhaps are dealing with an ailment or disability that prevents them from it. Perhaps it's sad for humanity, but I think it opens the gates to those who would be doomed to a life of only dreaming. Imagine how many Leonardo Divincis we could've had if they were given the right opportunities.
@@AbsolutelyChillMusic I don't think those sentiments absolve the issue of putting artists out of their livelihoods. Art isn't a privilege. It's a profession - whose work is being stolen to train AI that then further steals their potential business. The sentimental desires of some do not trump the concrete needs of others. I'm not blaming you specifically (it's pointless to blame a single molecule of water for the damage of the flood) - but no the reality is AI is a net bad for humanity, as is the result of most technology that's ultimately weaponized against us.
@@monsieurdorgat6864my position is perhaps one that you will hate, but I use AI art in order to accomplish personal artistic projects for ttrpgs with my friends. I do not have the money to commission hundreds of character designs, backgrounds, voice actors, etc. Through AI, I am able to give my players a more unique experience that I myself lack the talent to do. That is where I see the use in AI. Allowing individuals to do the work of teams. This being said, in real life I collect art on a small scale and I am involved in my cities art scene. I truly believe there will always be a place for talented artists, especially with certain mediums(namely more tangibly physical like oil, sculpture, etc). I see it being a problem for digital artists, yet, digital artists were probably viewed negatively by the former group during their emergence. AI could easily become a tool in such an artists basket. Ultimately, I have to side with AI. I don’t believe it can ever replace the soul of human made art, but it breaks down barriers and allows people such as myself access to a whole world of possibility.
@@monsieurdorgat6864 As an artist I have an appreciation for AI as it's just another tool in my bag. Whether I want some strange references or to get in the zone. It helps me think outside the box. AI generative art uses art in the same way I'd end up doing anyways, looking at dozens of references and putting my translation of those references on to paper as one piece. Perhaps me looking at Pinterest to train my mind is "stealing" as well, lol. No one is seriously considering those using AI art alone as artists, it's just another tool to be taken advantage of.

So to the point that Ai art allows people who otherwise wouldn't have the opportunity to break into artistic fields to do so; we're getting it backwards with Ai art. Machines are supposed to toil so we can all ascend, not the other way around.
