Usually game jams go horribly wrong because people make horrible games but this is just on another level

I think my favorite was 3 because the part when the intruder came in was actually scary, the title screen looks nice / the retro map is nice, idk I just liked it a lot.

Yeah it probably toke them like 24 hours or less but I know it was time consuming for the people who made the games
I regret not participating. I wish you'd do another. One with just as good of a theme.
I really liked how the submissions got more and more scary then the final submission started spooky but then became just a recap of previous videos

sometimes loading screens will have skip buttons if people want to just get into the game and would rather not wait
although that sometimes comes with the price of not everything being loaded correctly

the only problem that a lot of people have, like me, is . . . not being able to code. man, i wish i was talented like u guys
yea, i cannot code. but i can build.
@randomtrashroblosyoutuber7547 yea i tried it out but it was kinda hard for me to understand.
i started coding by trying to implement dumb features with my knowledge. examples:
after learning how to code math operations, try to make a basic calculator that prints the answer of the calculation.
after learning remote events and how gui works i tried to implement a tool that pops up a "pop up ad" gui on another player's screen.
after learning to detect user input (key pressess, mouse click etc.), i tried making player walkspeed increase when pressing shift.
just setting own small simple goals after learning simething helps you apply the knpwledge and get a deep understanding. Soon you'll be able to learn to code almost any feature.

the 2nd place building you spawn in is a premade asset, aka the builder didn't actually make that first building, and parts of the world are taken very obviously too. Im unsure if taking assets to make a game is fine or not for the game jam but it just makes it less impressive when most of the actually cool parts of the 2nd place game weren't even originally made by the creator.
the first one actually did win some robux, cuz he got 100 donation from cone
