I appreciate you taking the time to look up my Batbie fashion booklet videos on UA-cam. I've loved Barbie since I got my first one in 1966, which someday I'll make a story time video about that. Hope you find lots more fun vintage Barbie items at estate sales and share them with us on your channel! Also, what does 'add a card' on your videos mean? It sounds good, though. I've been making videos for over four years and I'm still learning something new all of the time. Thank you! :-) :-)
That little circle that pops up in the corner of some videos and suggests another video to watch, is called a card. I watched a UA-cam helps video about it a couple of weeks ago and I have been adding them to videos like a mad woman!
Thanks for the tip! I looked up a video about the cards, but it takes me awhile to figure things out, so I'll watch again until I get it. LOL!

Hello do you still remembered how you're 1966 first Barbie doll looked like
Hi Jesus! I hope you're having a nice weekend! And, yes, I vividly remember my first Barbie doll. For a long time now, I've thought of making a storytime video of how I acquired my first Barbie, which was actually Barbie's best friend, Midge with lifelike bendable legs. At the time, I felt like I was the happiest 9-year-old on the planet. LOL! Thanks for asking, Jesus! :-) :-)
Also, I should say it was my love for Barbie as a little girl, then collecting Barbie as a grown-up which eventually led to a staff writer's position with a very nice international magazine for Barbie doll collectors. I was fortunate to interview several members of the Barbie design team at Mattel Toys, in El Segundo. A dream come true for a little girl who walked miles to earn her first Barbie doll more than 50 years ago. :-) :-)
Maria Cisneros Toth I searched up the midge doll and did she have like a bob haircut and a headband and a blue suit on ?
I had the bendable leg Midge with freckles. Her titian/red hair was styled into a bob with with a blue ribbon for a headband. Her swimsuit was a bluish/turquoise color knit bathing suit (really cute!). She was Barbie's best friend. I hope to get another one someday! :-) :-)
