I still have them in the basement in mint condition. there is a dishwasher(large) washer (large) stove (Large) vacuum (large) 3sp blender too in storage , Suzy Homemaker was made from 1966 -71 Until the company went out of business. In 1969 the toy line was shrunk down to smaller versions of the original Bigger appliances,(made in Hong Kong), Topper however made the Super Oven in 1970-71, It was the large size, but instead of 2 light bulbs it used a 280 watt heating element!! Can you imagine that fire hazard hahahaha!?! The Dishwasher sink (large size) was made for only 1 year in 1967.Which makes it a rare collectible. If you find one in mint condition grab it. Prices vary across the board depending on condition for the toy line.
Suzy Homemaker was the "Cadillac" in toy appliances! Made right here in Elizabeth NJ! Topper employed thousands of employees ,They had a factory in Elizabeth NJ I think Rhode Island Canada and in the United Kingdom! Suzy Homemaker was called Lucy Homemaker in the UK. Just some interesting facts I learned while doing a research paper on the factory years ago
i noticed a large stove with no window that must be the one with the heating element, i just purchased the king size stove today! that takes bulbs
Yes the large stove without the window is called the Super Oven with the heating element@@India_And_Ivory
I didn’t know SH made other appliances. Of course an iron and ironing board. Love it❤

Wow, that is such a rare find and for that price, you got really lucky. When I was little, I had one, but I wouldn't know what brand it was, I used to make toast in it, I always remember it,my parents must have gotten rid of it at some point. It was fun stuff.

Oh no don't say you aren't going to use it at least one time. I want see you make a cake in it for real! Lol! I love this. Of course we had the Easy Bake ovens that baked but I didn't know that there were bigger ones like this that worked. I want to see it in action!! Yep I guess it's the kid in me!!! Years ago, I came across a variety of Easy Bake Oven cakes mixes at the 99 Cent Store and bought a bunch, then bought an East Bake Oven at Toys R Us with my first paycheck from JoAnn’s and shipped it all to our granddaughters.
