Sweet baby sweets sugar for my honey. Awesome sounding amp. The metal was really cool but would have liked to hear the full range of the amp gain without dropped tuning as well.
Sweet potatoes with my Swedes and honey when it's runny. Was that right? That's a lovely sounding amp there. I love the really full-on drive tone. Can always be reigned in with pedals. Sounds like a great metal platform. Speaking of which. Great to see and hear you getting down with your heavy metal self. Blooming awesome.
Game on sir for the Metal! Sweet baby, 👶 sweet, sugar for my honey! Thank you for including the explorer. It was interesting hearing it compared to the telecaster.
Hottest day on record back here in the UK the other day Andy but we also had a torrential downpour at 4 pm for like 2 hours which cooled it down for a bit then a hell of a thunder & lightning show later on about 10. Freaky weather. Cheers GG. Great sounding amp lad. Nice....
Only the 2nd Amp I’ve EVER heard, that could be just FINE straight up & dry. The other, was in ‘86, a Mesa Boogie Coliseum 300w 1/2 stack. #LaBoga I WANT 1. 😳 All the way in, ‘sweet baby-WTFever’, dude. You roll that shit till there’s no tomorrow, bro!
Nice sound. It certainly does a thing. I wish there weren’t so many Marshall look alikes on the market. Sweets baby..... wait what was it? Something about breakfast cereal?
Sweet baby sweet sugar for my honey. 😂😂And now you see why you are knocking on the door of 20 k Andy congratulations!! The amp is old school stunning. Wow It’s dripping in quality ! I’m afraid to ask the price 😄.
I think that the Class AB to Class A switching is more for different sound texture, then lowering the volume. You can find nerds swearing that Class A tube amp has more harmonicaly rich and dynamic sound over AB power section. On another note, with that type of bottom end and gain sound, I bet with p90 loaded SG and trebble booster, you can get very close to the original Black Sabbath sound fron first 2 albums. Oh my sweat sugar sweat for my honey child or whatever 😁 ps: What a lovely amp, I want some, but Im afraid looking for the price ... And lovely Explorer playing, keep it 😉
Sweep baby sleeps shuckin' for the money. It sounds good, don't get me wrong (especially the clean), but I feel like I've reached an age where this would involve at least two trips to the car to load in, plus a pedalboard. I'll stick with my Katana, lol. I've reached a point in life where I just want a fast, light weight, all-in-one amp. (I'm blaming it on my age, so that way it doesn't sound like I'm lazy or too cheap to shell out extra cash.)
Go any direction, as long as it is a musical one. Seems like a good amp, the sounds in the video were good. I made it to the end, what was I supposed to say...sweet baby sugar dumplings or something?
sweet baby sweet sugar for my honey. cool video. I'm a Marshall fan and I was thinking about buying a Blackstar now I will also take LaBoga into consideration. Thank you!
Has there been some Polish Invasion lately? 😀 First G-Lab, now Laboga. Staying in that subject You have to try: Mayones, Hesu, Exar, MLC (!), Taurus, Skervesen, DL David Laboga and many others. Good luck!
The clean channel convinced me! The warm tone is nice and works great with the Strymon Flint! The gain channel didn’t really get me but I’m sure it sounds great with the right overdrive/fuzz pedal. Great review and nice playing as always!
Too much clean and pedals for my taste. I would like to see more of the overdrive channel with different settings and different guitars (different tunings). But it seems like a very nice amp!
LaBoga ain't that what Michiel caught me pickin on one of your streams? (Thro the camera lens) Sweets for me sweet, sugar for my honey We shared a stage with the Searchers on Hackney Downs Dammit that didn't rhyme! What no chips... I'm out,my cod needs company ^^ Cheers Andy :-) 👍✌
It's true what they say. If you cross Brian May with a Minion, all knowledge of guitar scales, chords and music theory is lost. It doesn't matter how much new gear you throw at it - nothing works...
And none of the letters, words and structural combinations will ever make Dan Kelsall seem intelligent or interesting with anything valuable to contribute.
Sweets for my sweet Sugar for my honey Your first warm tone thrilled me so Sweets for my sweet Sugar for my honey You`ll seem to let this amp never go......
if'n your up to discover new tonal territory why wouldn't use an explorer? it seems like the obvious choice for a sweet baby sweet sugar for my METAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL poo's like honey and thats not punny!
@@TheGuitarGeek i had to stop and cook supper and continued listening to the end of your video. This amp sounds great on clear settings. I suspect that the power supply cant handle big bass signals.. it does get flabby as you said.
This was a HELL of a lot of fun to make
because METAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL!

I was truly surprised by how well the amp did both guitars justice.

Crazy Man Crazy.
Sugar and honey. Amp sounds great.

I totally get it. The katana ticks so many boxes. If I could only ever have one amp, it would be a katana

Nice one! You’re welcome
Dimebag Darrel, you are not.
I bloody am!
Sweets baby sweets sugar for my honey. It’s a nice sounding amp but the white and gold vibe isn’t for me.
Should have pointed out... that’s my custom look. It’s available in boring black too...
No more Katana Artist?
Oh hell yes! I play it very regularly
Never thought I’d see you do anything metal but I guess I was wrong. What’s next, you suddenly burst into singing opera while juggling guitars?!
sweets for my sweet, sugar for my honey, nice amp, got a Marshall Combi with x2 twelves. Like the Heavy metal sound....keep it up...…...Kev
Cheers Kev. Totally new ground for me so I’m looking forward to more of this

Hey thanks! What was terrible and how can I improve it? Or is it just not your style? I’m new to that sort of playing
