Lots of people like to slag off Oasis, but, when they came out, they completely changed the scene and it was epic. They really influenced a huge movement in making guitars look cool and “easy to play”. The 90s was an epic decade. I’m still trying to perfect my Time Machine so that I can live in the 90s but pop back to today when I want to buy new guitars and gear 😂

Do you mean in the UK? In the US Oasis didn’t change anything, Seattle already had long reset everything.

It's crazy how big Oasis was in the UK and many other English speaking countries as well as European countries.
In the States the radio stations had us believing that Oasis basically had one hit album. They also managed to squeeze out most of the Brit Pop movement. Some DJs and certain underground radio stations probably played more Oasis than just songs from What's The Story Morning Glory.
I think that I only recognized one or two of those riffs, but UA-cam wasn't that great until 2005.

Highly recommended to watch the Pedal Show about Noel's amps. He used a Valvestate and a WEM on the first album as they were dirt cheap.

Didn’t know Oasis until recently. I worked two jobs in the 90s and had babies to take care of. He seemed cool on That Pedal Show, but I didn’t listen to his music until I saw they were getting back together. What’s the excitement about I thought. Some great stuff there. Your guitar is nice looking/sounding as well.

I actually bought this guitar about 4 weeks ago, just for the Union Jack design , i've replaced the pick up rings and pick guard for black ones and I am upgrading the tuners this weekend for Grover ones I am then putting some Ernie balls beef slinky 11 -54 strings eventually I will replace the picks up for EMGs but for now this guitar looks great in my collection - yeah killer Oasis riffs excellent.

Big up for Some Might Say as well!
I reckon the F# upto the G power chord was probably done by Bonehead as you can hear the feedback. Although there is no wrong way to play the right notes haha.
Also the tone is unreal, was you using just the crunch on the Katana and a boost? It's filthy nice

This is probably the first time I’ve even learned anything about Oasis.. in fact, I was wondering what all the noise was about when I heard that Oasis was getting back together…
But during those years when Oasis came out, I was back in my Bluegrass days of playing..
But I’ve been catching up on the late 80’s and 90’s music, so I’m getting there…😅😊😂
