The lyrics are the best part of the song, that's why people love it.
And the story behind the entrance is mind blowing, a marriage with normal jobs, kids and also their music project, she, Mary, decided to send application for Benidorm Fest, even without telling about it to the husband (Mark), she was not expecting to be selected, but it happend and then, when she informed Mark they were selected for Benidorm, he said "ok, you send the application, not means we are selected", but she informed him that they have been already selected.
Next thing, when the names of the contestants were announced, they were unknown, and there was even mean comments in social media about their age. But when the song was released was a banger, a powerful message with an addictive beat.
Then they won their semifinals... And in the final they delivered an effective performance. She said she was not nervous in the final because she was having fun, because she was no fighting for the win, she knew she was competing towards artists with lot of expertise in the stage, she thought they wouldnt win, so she decided to enjoy it and deliver... Then... The win came.
The song is powerful, the lyrics too, but also entetaining and mesmerizing.
What it is, is deeply incoherent. Typical of current feminism. If your husband calls you a slut for going out alone, solve that problem with him. And if not, why do you talk about imaginary cases?

En eso llevas razón, Eurovisión hace mucho que dejó de ser un concurso musical. Mira, no soy músico profesional pero toco un instrumento y hace mucho que voy a clases de canto. No se aprende a cantar de la noche a la mañana, igual que alguien que estudia un idioma, no se aprende en dos meses. Si se mete mucha caña, puede mejorar, pero ya está. Tener una buena técnica vocal lleva años, y la edad que tiene, pues... No es que sea un obstáculo, pero las cuerdas vocales son un instrumento natural, envejecen contigo. Obviously it's related to feminism. It's stupid to not relate both ideas. The song is about empowering women, in which world this would not be related to a movement like feminism? It's the same movement that tries to show that women older than 50 are equal and valuable and need to have their own space as it should be.

At Eurovision we have seen women singers and dancers showing more ass and breasts by balancing: They come out/They don't come out. It's like taking a sock and turning it inside out.That is why the puritans ( I am amazing with reacts of some young people from NORTHEUROPE AND EASTEUROPE, thank God they weren´t when Sistine Chapel was painted) and very conservatives hate it: They receive in their faces what they have always done, destroying the lives of certain groups of people with insults and rumors. I hope you consider, that is its power of convocation and personal triumph of ZORRA. Thank you.

Hello Jana, I am from Spain and we know she can not really sing😅 but this song is important because of the message: the lyrics are about women empowerment, feminism, its about the word "Zorra" ( bitch, vixen) how in Spanish Zorro ( for males,) means intelligent and zorra ( female) means vixen/bitch. How the world is still dominated by the patriarcht and everything a woman does make her damned, if you do it you are damned if you do not you are damned as well. There are many videos of the sing with English lyrics i hope you can see this message😊❤

The male dancers represent the LGBT+ community, they are very queer, and she dressed a bit like a "madame" , the the stage IS kinda a "House for prostitutes"😆 they are being very sarcastic making fun of the conservative minds that judge people for not being conservative like them. The left-winged spaniards, the artists, the outsiders, etc they sing along shouting making fun of the insult that every woman and men that does not fit the conventional standards receive just for being themselves. Half Spain is criticising and those are actually the ones which this song is dedicated to😁 its a big middle finger

I 100% agree with you. I miss a great voice,. with strength. Then it would be perfect. The message is spot on. She is great, especially when one knows her story. The performance, I think is fantastic, too, the staging, but one waits for the culmination... and it never comes. Too bad, but I think that the people that likes it, don't care. Don't care either in which position it will finish. It doesn't matter. It's more about getting the message across. Changing the meaning of the word "Zorra". We all thought that Chanel would win and she came in 3rd, so now it's about enjoying ourselves. The position in Eurovision is lacking in importance. The main goal is to have fun.
She is not explosing in vocal because what she is saying is that she is fine with people calling her zorra for doing what she wants, so she is calm and just chilling. It all goes with the performance.
We love her in Spain allthoug she repeats a very nasty word.
I dont think they change the voices, because they are “imitating” the music from Spain during La Movida (end of the 70 and 80). This kind of songs had catchy music, with a huge political message, and the singer could have a great voice, but most of the times it wasnt the point, it was important they had some charisma.
