Fun to share the route with you Jon!
Hey Victor!
It was a fun climb!
Cheers!
Climbed the route about two weeks ago. Superb condition! The bergshrund was difficult on the right. Unfortunately we missed the last train out from the glacier. Brutal end to a great day.
Ooops! Missing the train is a bit set back with the lack of snow to descend skiing
This looks like a beautiful route! I wish I could have been there!
It is indeed!
Always on point. Super enjoyable video and storytelling as Always.
Thank you Francesco!
@@jonmurua i Hope one day i will be able to make such ascents! Greetings from Piedmont.
Muy buen vídeo y tomas. Me ha gustado en la cima del corredor esa grabación del segundo de cordada intercalada con toma en primera persona cuando pasabas por allí. Saca petróleo de reducido equipo de grabación que lleváis 👏🏻
Gracias!
nice
Ice is nice ! 🙂
I climbed this in 2019 I think. Then it was pretty much just dry the whole way in easter. Still a nice climb though.
In these conditions it's more ice climbing than mixed, lol
@@jonmurua Yeah it even looked a bit trickier. In dry tooling form I felt like it was a breeze
Hola Jon!
I did the same rappel mistake as you last week in Cogne 😂
😅 luckily there was no drama
What shoes and crampons do you use? I never realised you could use ski boots that were compatible!
If the approach or descent is skiing,I often climb with ski boots to avoid carrying the weight of extra boots.
The crampons are compatible with standard ski touring boots.
I use Dynafit TLT6 and I'm super happy with them. Mountaineering boots give more flex in the ankle which is useful in technical terrain
Hello, can I ask you when did you climb this route? We where thinking of climbing it Monday, we where wondering if these conditions where now. Thank you
This was 2 weeks ago. I was today climbing nearby and the gully seems still ok, but the rimaye is 2 metres open. You can climb the rock on the right to pass the rimaye. Happy climbing!
