From what I've learned not too long ago, Lucy was not really the first to be pregnant on TV. Mary Kay from "Mary Kay and Johnny" sitcom was the first woman pregnant on tv in 1947 and they were the first real life couple to share a bed. The show ran from 1947-1950 on the Dumont network.
