- A brand new way to hear Madonna's fantasy concept album. 1992 saw the release of Erotica, which came packed with hit singles and much controversy. For this new edition, each track has been given a brand new mix from multi channels recordings. This is very similar to the Immaculate Collection, where each songs was slightly remixed and rendered in a new stereo mix, to breath new life into the hit singles, while remaining true to the original releases. Uploaded in one video, so it emulates that old school feeling of putting on an LP and letting it run it's course. Of course, the video is timestamped for those who want to skip to their favourite tracks. Although there are no conditions to playing, headphones will provide an atmospheric experience. I have already mixed all these songs before, but this upload features 14 new and unique versions.

Please note, I did this project in between my grandfather's passing, his funeral and Christmas. It has been a hectic time. I'm not overly proud of this work, it could be better, and I somewhat rushed it to get it done. But as long as it brings one fan some joy and a smile - then my job is done.

I'm playing this right now and am reaaaally excited, especially for the songs that were not singles! We often do not get good remixes for those songs. I'm really impressed with what I'm hearing! Honestly, I could see myself playing this version the next time I want to listen to the full album. Thank you for taking the time to do this! My condolences on your father's passing. I know what that is like. I lost mine on 11/07/21.
What a great job! All the segments that bring out the foundational musical elements are beautifully emphasising the raw underground feel to the sound of the album. I love dubs and extended mixes in general for this reason. With Erotica I have a strong connection due to sentimental reasons. Vogue, Justify My Love (great that you included it) and Rescue Me was when I discovered Madonna so Erotica was a the first studio album that followed up. It was perfectly reflecting what was happening musically in the club scene at that time. I was too young to go to clubs and also lived in the middle of nowhere far from any but I loved that sound of it. It was like a fantasy of a mysterious world somewhere out there.

Gorgeous stripped down beat&bass intro of In This Life. I wish you did some extended dub like treatment to Secret Garden which I think is an absolute gem on the album. I could easily have a 10 min version of that track because it just has such a vibe - mix of jazz elements and street boombox hiphop beat, the spoken word and a lullaby-like melody... just gorgeous.

_Erotica_ was released when I was only thirteen years old and though I'm sure a lot of adults would find it alarming that at that age I understood a majority of the innuendos on the album, Madonna can't be credited with my corruption.... That distinction goes to 2 Live Crew, whose infamously offensive lyrics to their _As Nasty As They Wanna Be_ album I was able to recite at only ten years old. Regardless, back then I couldn't grasp why everybody raved over this boring "Secret Garden" track towards the end of _Erotica._ I'm very happy to say that as an adult with much deeper and mature musical appreciation, it has indeed since become one of my favorites.
As for how Tipper Gore might have argued _Erotica_ impacted me as a child only entering my teens, the worst thing one could blame is the fact that I grew up to be a professional drag queen with a profoundly deep vernacular of profanity at my disposal. And I can't say I credit _Erotica_ or Madonna in general for my profession. That, I attribute more to Deee-Lite's _World Clique,_ but I digress.
As for this little gift of _Erotica_ oddities, I must say I'm finding it to be the perfect background music to inspire a stream-of-consciousness rant in the UA-cam comments. Rough around the edges or not because of your recent difficulties, that's what _Erotica_ should be and I thank you for sharing it with us!

As well as the albums before True Blue? The full extended mixes of Ray of Light songs that didn't make it to the full album will be an amazing mix.
If you did this for all of Cyndi Lauper and Kylie Minogue albums as well (especially the "Body Language" album with so many great b-sides that are now near impossible to find in good quality), I might just die of giddiness at my age.

erotica is simply amazing and so is this project! although i have a question, how do you do these mixes? do you filter the stems yourself? do u have a download link for the stems? id love to start doing my own mixes but its so hard to find madonna's stems! great work!
Thank you for your kind words ☺️ I isolate a lot of my own multi tracks in my studio if I can’t get hold of the original masters. I managed to get hold of several Madonna multitracks over the years but to honest I prefer working with my own now as I can get the parts I want. When I worked at umg (universal) it’s amazing how easily stuff leaks between labels. You could send send an email and someone would bake you the master. I think that’s how a lot of material gets out to fans, although I’ve always been really respectful and not pumped stuff around. You know, I worked with multitracks for years at UMG but always felt like I was intruding on the artists private sessions haha. I always imagine Madonna would be pretty angry about it as it kind of exposes her vulnerability. Her raw vocal before tweaking. If you want to start out then just practice and practice. Start with the original song and try extending it, and looping sections. You’ll eventually don’t techniques which work for you. I imagine there are multis online when you’re ready to progress. I am a sound engineer by trade, remixing isn’t really my thing, I still dont think I’m very good at it lol. But people tend to like this work that I do, really not sure why 😂 but you’re all so kind.
