    Italian seasoning:
2 tbsp dried oregano, dried basil, dried parsley
1 tbsp dried rosemary, dried thyme, dried red pepper flakes, garlic powder
I thought the red pepper flakes would be weird but it's not you can go with or without I went full on. I grow my own herbs and make my own seasoning mixes and I can't stand fennel.....you've gotta try this!!!! I put it on EVERYTHING

Made the manicotti casserole. I used 1 pound of ground beef, and a 1/2 pound of sweet Italian sausage, ground. Other than that, I made it like the way you and Bunky did. The only issue with it, was with my son (42 years old) put a too big piece in his mouth at once, and almost choked on the melted cheese! lol. My one picky 7 year old granddaughter ate 2 of the manicotti pasta! She took out the cheese, probably because she heard her uncle say how he almost choked. Great recipe!
