Thanks for being such a great, first hand advocate. I run two BII groups. One of them for s support for women who were flat chested when they got their implants. Going back to flat is a huge emotional challenge for us.
Silicone gel-filled breast implants are only associated with a slightly higher risk of developing an autoimmune or connective tissue disease when compared to saline, as far as I've found in my research.
I have been sick for 8 years now finding out only five months ago this is the cause . My surgeon is now retired so I paid extra for a warranty for no reason and no other surgeon I find admits this is real or will accept my insurance. This is a real problem and ruins lives, patients should definitely be warned of these risks it has and is ruining my life as well as my family watching me sick for 8 years thinking I was crazy.

Glad I canceled my breast augmentation consultation. They had the audacity to tell me the 250 consultation deposit was non refundable even though I called the very next day to cancel the appointment that was scheduled 14 days out. They ended up giving me back my money but the nerve!!!
I had mine out in March and instantly noticed I felt better. The fatigue and achy joints are gone. I still deal with an autoimmune disorder that I am convinced was activated by my implants. I will always try and talk any women out of getting them if I can. I feel like that is the least I can do since I was fortunate enough to have a second chance at life.
How’s your body now? I’m planning to go for breast implant. What do you suggest? I’ve no one here who has done this procedure and give me real time experience. Thanks in advance
@@gingeyqueen There’s millions of lucky ones. Obviously this is devastating but the fact still remains that it’s only a very small percentage of women this effects. It seems like more in comment sections like this and in groups and things because people going through hard things tend to create support groups and accumulate together.
I “feel” like you have to study these things case by case. What I found (take it with a grain of salt), 1. Your first implants are important, insert them unclean and you already have bacteria on the surface of the implants making you sick. 2. If you already have some typed of auto-immune disorder, don’t even think about it. 3. What generation was your implants? Older gen tend to have short life span. Ruptured easier than new. 4. Did you get sick on your first or second implants. Revision count as second as well. If so, did they remove the old capsule when they put new implants in? Did the doctor accidentally microscopically compromised the implants as well as contaminate it with bacteria? You have to understand the risks ladies. Odds of you coming out ok is slim. Ask yourself is it worth it? And it’s not a one and done. You will have to get them replaced. And it’s a whole another round of roulette you have to play with your health. Having said all that, I don’t think the implants itself that’s the cause. I “think” (not facts) it’s the process. So choosing your doctor is extremely important. Talk to them about all these possible complications and how they mitigate them. If you’re not satisfied with what you hear, don’t do it or move on to another doctor. And please, only board certified plastic surgeon.
I wish insurance would cover to have them removed Many woman such as myself struggling with our health because we cant afford to have them removed . I feel I am on borrowed time now Mine are killing me
My issue is all these celebrities with implants ive never heard of any of this. Are they staying quiet or is it really less than 90% of women getting sick?
It's tragic women do this to themselves. Heartbreaking their self-esteem is rock bottom to the extent they risk their lives for something so shallow. 1 in 25.
Newly Released: On September 8, 2022 “The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is informing the public about reports of cancers, including squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) and various lymphomas, in the scar tissue (capsule) that forms around breast implants.” “…there have been literature reports of SCC and various lymphomas in the capsule around the breast implants for both textured and smooth breast implants, and for both saline and silicone breast implants.”
It seems so extreme to put a foreign object inside your body and what happens if you need to remove them? Is there sagging and misshapen skin in that area?
FDA - WAKE UP 😡. We who have BII are NOT making this up. DON’T DRAG YOUR fEET on this because we are WOMEN ‼️‼️. Think about it-- if this were a MALE issue, you know how fast you would look into this and do something about it. RIGHT? Now do the right thing 👍👍👍👍👍

I'm almost 66 yrs old, no uplift wanted. They will be what tgey are....gone. Their looks don't matter, how my health is does. Implants were clear, no leaks. Minimum soreness
The Report: 90% of women are perfectly fine, 10% speak of mysterious illness maybe from them. Comment Section: ITS OVER LADIES DONT DO IT! Lol 90% are fine, thats pretty good odds. Any procedure has a chance to go wrong, and this seems like a type of guilt and dysphoria. Also, some may be sensitive to foreign items in their body. People with fake hips, bolts in their knees etc, also report feeling uneasy about it strangely - only a few some. It seems to be your brain thinking "well what the shoot is this thing constantly against the lungs?" Its a 90/10 chance and if youre not 100% DONT DO IT. For a lot of women its not cosmetic, its a piece of womanhood they've felt they've been missing and feel happiest for it. For those just wanting big breast for a look, meh, good luck hating them after 2 months. Mind over matter.
The problem is not the implants. The problem is self-esteem issues, I think. At the end of the day it’s plastic in the chest. Our body is too intelligent to know there’s something foreign inside. But looks are more important, right? There’s a book called When the Body says No, by Dr. Gabor Mate ❤ someone here might want to read it. You are perfect as you are. Love yourself, work on the inside 🧠 The people that truly love & care about you will accept you wether you have small or large breast(s).
Why do medical practitioners and clients get alienation for probing and bringing it up a problem and FDA is so mercenary and slow at listening?? When it comes to women's issues, even more so! Sad culture in medicine! 😮
@@cherronlewis3457 I’ve noticed women get implants to impress other women. Sounds odd, but it’s strangely true. For some reason this is a status thing. Men mostly take a hard pass and enjoy what a woman naturally has, flat or curvy. For me, I feel like implants for non-reconstructive purposes show a massive lack of self confidence, which is uglier than physical appearance. Implants don’t move like the real deal, feel like the real deal, and NEVER look like the real deal. Love your natural body. That’s sexier than a silicone mass hindering your natural beauty
That sounds like MENOPAUSE, they look like in that range of age theses ladies. As we get older we are more sensitive, thats life we get older and everything hurts!
Thats just dumb. How would that explain them feeling better after removal? It’s a mix of ASIA syndrome, biofilm contamination and autoimmune responses depending on the persons genes.

This is what I fear but my health is more important and still it’s a struggle. How do I find your groups please?
Saline is a better option. It’s literally salt water they will absorb into your body if a rupture happens and will cause no harm.
Silicone gel-filled breast implants are only associated with a slightly higher risk of developing an autoimmune or connective tissue disease when compared to saline, as far as I've found in my research.
If you are someone w little to no breast tissue saline isn’t a great option.

Develop an implant that the body will accept, become a hero and a trillionaire
Those exist, fat grafts. But they're more expensive and a bit risky because it involves lipo and then the fat is injected into the breasts.
