very informative video thanks for sharing..i also want to know the older version iphone like 14,14 pro,pro max what will happened if you use locked phon display or parts..thanks.
cool video Jesse thanks for sharing definitely not a cheap video working out the cash for that What’s crazy is honestly probably someone is manually reviewing the parts and the checklist or maybe that’s the secret code tap it so many times lol
I’m curious if pairing new parts to the iCloud locked phone free up the old parts that were taken from it. There is a chance it wasn’t logging out of FMI, and you pairing other parts to the iCloud locked phone instead.
It didn't even work in the end, good job Apple. It is malicious compliance again, or did they make something that doesn't work on their own will ? I was hoping that this would be retroactive, work on older models but looks like it's pointless anyway
Too boot into diag mode you need to turn phone off and while holding volume up and down connect to power when apple logos shows let go of button and will boot into diag mode 👍
So you go through the effort of the whole video, but you don’t do the camera calibration when the iCloud locked parts are in? The only helpful bit here would be to see the full calibration and then the settings after with the still iCloud locked parts rather than cancelling the configuration right at the end of it
Correct. I had to do it off camera because it's a clunky process take took several minutes to finally complete it. New videos will be coming with more details on the process
@@VCCBoardRepairs but in the video it looks like you never finished calibration with the iCloud locked parts on right? Because afterwards we should have seen the parts history show some say genuine, and the others say locked? Or something else like used? Instead it still said finish repair for all parts That’s what I was watching this video for, I wanted to know what it looked like after finishing the calibration with iCloud locked parts
It was a Livestream event of brand new devices. I did what I could while I was live. I also have a repair shop I'm running. Don't worry, I will post more info as I learn more about how this all works The key thing we learned is that it does detect iCloud locked parts, but does let you use them as before. My biggest concern is if the iCloud locked parts would lock your phone down completely, which is not the case
@@VCCBoardRepairs ok but we don’t know that of you finished the calibration it may lock them out after that part, we don’t know because you removed the iCloud lock and then calibrated

Good question! I've heard it is possible, but never tried it before
cool video Jesse thanks for sharing

haha i doubt it's a manual process
Jesse, If you will sell it, depend on the price, let me to know… Cheers
$1500!
can you try this on 12 pro max please
I’m curious if pairing new parts to the iCloud locked phone free up the old parts that were taken from it.
There is a chance it wasn’t logging out of FMI, and you pairing other parts to the iCloud locked phone instead.
Good question. I'll experiment with that & post an update
Can we do this iPhone xs to 15 pro max or only iPhone 16? Please let me know
No
I’m interested in the phones. How much are you selling. And can you ship outside the USA?
I'm not selling outside of the USA
Is there a way I can join your board repair online ??
Yes, you can sign up here: 90 Day Advanced Solder Course: vccboardrepairs.com/90-day-course
So will it fully reject 3rd party parts?
Well there are no 3rd party parts available yet. Even then, it should work fine with aftermarket parts. You just can't calibrate them.
You should have put one phone in lost mode
I will try that next!
What screw driver do you use.
In this video, I used the Refox 3D Screwdriver set: s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DBT3NWF

Yeah who knows
Pls sponsor to come to USA 🇺🇸 I want to be working with u pls ❤❤
I am not hiring

I literally have the phones in front of me. I can easily re do that test right now
New video will come. No need to freak out about it
You’re very impatient.
You're not wrong
@@VCCBoardRepairs I dislike it as well “being impatient” I can be myself. Here seems more time line is important.
I didn't have all day to be Livestreaming. I also have a business to run 😅
