I love the premise of needing to rebuild the cabin even if it falls. I can imagine it as the story of a lone guardian protecting the last place he ever knew. Constantly fighting and rebuilding hoping that his kin and his masters will return.
I actually like doing farms because it gives you extra food and the higher tier cooking recipes are pretty good now. Basically they give buffs and lots of food and water. Plus they are fun to make XD
0:40 Oh that's MY HOUSE!!! I currently live there in game. :D Given that the place doesn't look like much, but with a little bit of work, that's actually a prime location. You can turn it into quite a fort. There's water nearby. And you can easily dig trenches around the cabin and fill with spikes
I just came across this channel about a day ago and really enjoy it!! I started watching the Apocalypse 2 series and caught up with that and started watching all of your videos. I really love your content and its time consuming and fun.
Since fast resource gathering will be a high priority in this series, I'd recommend a couple early points in Miner 69'er and Mother lode, can't wait to see how this series turns out
Man I love this game and series. I can't believe it took me so long to find such an addicting game. Been playing myself and messing around with the game setups. My own personal rule is if I die even once then it's game over. Might be much for a noob but I enjoy it and have learned from my previous deaths. The only death that had me salty as hell was the one by infection and my inability to find any freaking golden honey or antibiotics.
Oh good, my favorite terrestrial premise for the small in number. The good old forest cabin. Personally I feel that log cabins are so 2 years ago, and that stone cabins are where its at now.
Daring adventurer might be a good line for this series.... also, you'll end up with a fair bit of coal there.... it's great for fuel source ... 50 seconds for a piece of wood, but a minute and 40 seconds for a piece of coal.... nearly 3 times the burn
Hey Glock, I'm already loving the new series! I hope you make a series on 25 % loot. It ramps up the difficulty buy A LOT. A skilled professional like you will REALLY enjoy it!
I just started watching this and I love this concept. I dont mind the adding of items. Leads to a more realistic role play scenario. After this wraps up you could always so another one but give you more stuff. Like a little bug out bag. Which would be realistic. Like maybe a handgun and a box or 2 of ammo. A shotgun with a couple boxes of ammo and like some canned food and bottled water. It may make it easier. But realistically most would be fine in the beginning if they didnt get eaten. Its the longevity that would get people. I think its a fun idea for a series and can't wait to see it keep going! Hopefully become a staple series in your arsenal.
That cabin in the woods has a carbon copy in the desert near the junkyard and it was the first place I holed up in when I played Alpha 18 for realsies! Pretty trippy, I'm curious of how you'll lay it out and utilize it during the upcoming hordes! Looking forward to it! :D
Did anyone else hear what sounded like a zombie say "oh yeah" when glock asked if he was going to have to knock the block out from above the door when he heard the zombies beating on his front porch?
I bought 7 Days to Die in 2013. There have been so many changes over the years, and now that i've graduated college I can finally play more regularly. Thanks for making great vids that inspire me to find new ways to challenge myself and take risks in-game!
At that destroyed house where you harvested the couch there was a pile of gray bricks. They give 50 stone per stack, great for early game stone. Whenever you see one in a POI it is worth your time to break 'em down
I swear, I go whole games and never even see the burning shaft mod, and you get it on day one again. Man, that's amazing. Another great video as always.
Hey is this the one horror thing with the cabin in the woods? "Nonono it's the one with the cabin in the woods." "You mean the one with the cabin in the woods?" "Yeah the one with the cabin in the woods."
You should do a basement/bunker for the crafting stations since you're doing a home-base. Technically you can keep picking them up before every horde, but that would become impossible once storage boxes start piling up
Love the idea Glock! I really don’t think the starting goodies like the guns and forge and truck are necessary, but it’s all good. Holding out in a specific building like this is something I’ve hoped to see for a while. 😁
I swear you read my mind Glock. I’m still catching up in Apocalypse2 so I have no idea if you talked about this series already but I was literally just thinking about how I wish House on the Hill has lasted a little bit longer and then not to long ago before that was wondering if you’ll do another hoard every night any time soon. I must say, you’re quite in tune with your audience it seems lol
Gardening is pretty useful when there is 4+ players and one of them gets master chef and living of the land maxed out. Food starts missing real fast when there is a lot of mouths to feed x)
This is awesome, I love me some horde every night, and nobody does it like Glock. You inspired my gaming group to play horde every night ramblin man as our weekly game. Much easier with a group but still a mad scramble!
took this cabin and added a second layer of fence and a full basement bunker plus removed the stairs in back upgraded everything to metal and built a fence and turrets all around and threw in vault doors for good measure.
"Did you guys hear something?" Damn glock you have ears of the wolf! I didn't hear shit and actually got a fright when you turned around and it was staring you in the face :D That probably would have been end of series for me right there lol
Hey Glock9, start mining those piles or stone/bricks that you find in houses and such. they give 60 stone each which is a good and easy way to get lots of stone passively. It is much better than stone that you find lying around the world.
I know it makes for an entertaining series - Choose difficult settings and set the game as Horde Every Night (and setting a specific location to hold down) - but I'm not a fan of giving yourself any items at the start of the game. All those things you gave yourself (truck, workbench, pump shotgun, etc) make the game much easier than the regular game. For me, the game is much more enjoyable when I start with nothing, and see where it goes from there. In fact, I have started playing the game with Loot Abundance set to 50% (down from default 100%) because it makes the game much harder, and is more of a survival challenge than the loot-fest which is the regular game.
@16:50 I imagine it is less like "putting meat in water and boiling it requires skill", and more like "knowing how long to boil the meat so I don't get sick". ;)
Series Idea: MacGyver Series - Can only use items you've crafted (can also use any item that can't be crafted). Idea is that everything you find is worn and broken and can only be used for parts.
What a great idea for a series, 7 days to die series can sometimes get repetitive as it’s just looting and building for 7 days between hordes, this on the other hand is not
When I saw the cabin in the woods I thought about the movie for some reason. Apart from that hope this series will last long and not en by you stepping on a landmine
@glock9 There is a Crack a book north of trader jenn. Make a right before the bridge(i use that as my base horde base). There is also a mega mine heading south of her store on the left, on the border where green meets burnt land.

P.S. I was wondering if the Blunderbus was considered a Shotgun, I loved the Table saw and miss it, I would build a storage box then pain it like a workshop counter with the saw on it and used tons of stuff from it to build, glad they just moved the items to the frames. typing to much :D

It has a walled backyard with a tree house! it has a basement also with either 2 haziesuits guys and a army guy or 2 army guys and 1 haziesuit guy! I use the second floor for my main base and use the second floor for traps and other stuff!
Your gameplay is amazing, but your time management skills are through the roof. You get more things done in one day that takes me weeks. Great stuff, and I mean all your series you do for 7d2d.
It might be beneficial for you to have 1.5hr long days, especially later in the series. I think you'll have a hard time balancing entertainment and adequate resource collecting for building and repairs with the standard 1hr days
I’m finally watching this series cause I waited for it to end cause I wanna binge watch it. I’m always sad to see these end but you’re a creative guy and make fun things. I can only play this on console and I love it. I can’t wait for fun pimps to get someone to port it over to console. I know it takes time and I’m willing to wait forever for such an amazing game. Good luck with the nightmare series. Looking forward to watching that.
I feel like your production value has increased significantly in the more recent series, and I absolutely love it. And the intros are getting better and better!
The lighting changed in a update I think, I noticed Neebs videos looks super good to. that last update had more changes than I think people know, I run it at max settings and my PC screams, my PC hardly makes noise on Warzone though
You really gotta buy that Cigar which costs only 100 dukes. +1 str and a bonus for bartering. Best thing you could buy early on : ) Regards, Trader "Not Rick" Bob

THIS IS AWESOME! This is the exact same cabin I've turned into my base on my gaming group's server (which is sitting under my TV, so I suppose it's my server)! I hope you don't get wolves in your house at night on Day 2 like I did!
I know you do them a lot but I'd put the work stations in a bunker and just use the house for a zombie base. That way if the house falls you don't have to start from scratch.
I still say a Locust playthrough would be up your alley. loot Everything. every man made thing. every natural resource. leave the world strip mined. barring an area around your home with resources you control. a farm for trees, food and the like. have the only building be the one you build.
Hey, what’s up guys? Welcome to a new Horde Every Night debacle. Don’t worry, Apocalypse2 is still alive and well and will be back very soon.
