I’ve used this blaster for 2+ years, and its always been reliable. Would recommend 10/10 for older people. My advice would be to practice reloading, and working on your priming speed to shoot faster.

What did the Kronos copy? The Hera is an objectively more efficient semi-auto than the Zeus and its crappy feeding mech. And the priming on the Helios is infinitely superior to that of the Apollo.

I think its Hasbro realizing what needs fixed on their already decent blasters and makes them even better, not just giving them more ammo. Hades gives the Artemis a stock to make the Slamfire more stable. Helios gives the Apollo a springloaded return-stroke so it doesn't jam as easily and has a stock, as well as a full tac rail. And what Matthew Huff said about the Hera says too, with its better ergonomics and loading system... as well as how every complained the Zeus couldn't use the rechargeable.
as a firearms enthusiast and gunsmith in training I have to say this blaster look like a massive MP90. it would also make a good tool to train kids and teens the fundamentals and the four rules of firearm safety.
I am surprised he did not mention the ability to shoot multiple balls at a time. If you manually open the reloading hatch and push the rounds into the rotating barrel, you can shoot up to three at once. The product is not designed to do this so it may occasionally jam, but it works quite well. Jams come from rough treatment. It has never jammed on me when I fire it normally. (One shot at a time.) This gun is very effective and has an operator feel to it. However, after using it for a long time in a nerf war my hand was hurting. The way the handle was designed rubbed against my knuckles. The slight discomfort went away in less than a day. Keep in mind this only happened with extended use. It is actually quite powerful and accurate and It should have scored Higher than 87 FPS. All in all, amazing spring-action gun. Flywheel master race will reck you, but if you want a spring gun, there is no other rival I would recommend. Mag's are cool with nerf elite but it is so much better not to mess with them in rival. Any way, buy this gun, its loads of fun.
they won't because the rivals already outrange all other blaster series, averaging 95 FPS, there are kits for apollo snipers I think, but if they made a sniper, it would have to go like 150 lol
2 things Frank. 1: what’s the name of your speed lapse music? 2. You gotta stop reviewing jolts. In my feet I just see like 45 jolt reskins/paints. Sure the one that puts ammo into the jolt is cool. But this jolt is where I put my foot down. (Jk obviously)

So before I bought this, I keep around 2 Kronos, a Saturn, and a Mercury. Good plinking, but, I realized, if anyone ever came over and dared to challenge me, the best I can do is more or less a combined 15 rounds with the shotgun and a pistol. I would lose. This thing is kind of amazing. It's a long pump action blaster and if you actually slam fire all 60 rounds, by the time you're done, both arms will hurt slightly, you'll be out of breath, and a little bit sweaty. It's an incredibly satisfying nerf gun. That said, there's something about the priming noise I don't like. It's genuinely grating to me, but it's vastly overshadowed by "oh my god when am i actually going to run out of rounds?!"
I'm reasonably sure this and the Artemis can be modded into shotguns by drilling or rebarreling the chambers so the lip that catches the HIRs coming out of the mags are further in, like the depth of 2 or 3 balls instead of 1. Maybe a 3d printed part will come out. I kinda don't want to try it on my new Hades

Does anyone think that the rival series symbolizes the Peloponnesian War, when Sparta/Team Red, and Athens/Team Blue go to war even though they are part of the same country/Nerf Line? And if you look closely at the Nerf Phantom Corps logo, you can make out what seems to be a a Spartan helmet’s face. (idk the name of the helmet or if its even from sparta, but im just going off of pop culture.)
The Hades is definitely meant to be a secondary, for when you need an emergency blaster after you run out of magazines, (because, well, nobody is going to reload that during a battle).
Why do they keep naming their blasters after Greek gods? I know guess it’s just because of the line of blaster, but why not Roman, or Persian, or anything else related to Greece.
