Hey guys so for todays video I have a commentary and reaction video to the heartstopper tv show. This is my favourite graphic novel series of all time, so of course I needed to react to the show! This show has changed my life.
I used to feel like I couldn't be bisexual and a christian because my mum and dad are homophobic. But after I read the novels and watched the show I started to do a lot of reasearch about it and there are lots more people like me who are lgbtq+ and share the same religion as me.

ISAAC IS MY FAVORITE OMG. When he knocked over the monopoly board and was like “whoops” hahaha
I love all the characters and I can relate with a little bit of all of them but especially Tao and his crush on Elle and but I also can relate the most with Imogen when she smiled as Nick and Charlie walked off the field that was so sweet and I know that she will still be friends with Nick.

I started sobbing so voilently on April 22 when I was watching and I thought I was far into it, I looked at the time and I was 5 minutes into episode 1😭

I loved Heartstopper so much and I just finished watching it a second time, when your video popped up. Literally during the last episode. Loved your reaction. Heartstopper made me so giddy. And I love the representation and that the youth lingo is not cringe. I love it so much more than 13 reasons why for example. Dialogue is so good.

Teachers that we confide in and trusted are so underrated. I’m 26 and my high school English teacher is helping me with my ADULT JOB. After all those years. And it’s not just me, I see people I graduated with post about how she helped them out last week, or how their friendship still helps them out today. She’s literally being the best teacher long after high school. I feel so incredibly blessed 🥺😭

Also, I think every a lot of lgbt+ers cried at this (show and comic) because it was so nice to see them being able to be themselves in public. I too am remembering my secondary school days watching this and cried a lot through the pain of sneaking around and being unsure and crap hitting the fan during school.

I dont think I've ever seen a book to movie/TV show adaption that stuck mostly true to the book! I was genuinely so shocked! Especially with the little details, such as the text messages.

kit and joe who played nick and charlie is a very good acters they have a speical bond between them and they got very strong friendship and there love for each other are so real their passion is so beautiful and they got very strong friendship i love them so much they support each other and beening there for each other its so magic and lovely to watch and there chemistry is strong and they ment to be together and every time when they see each other u can see the glow in there eyes and they so happy to see each other and every thing is so well done.every time i watch the series and every episosdes are perfect and beauitful and lovely to watch and i will never get sick of it because i love so much and i have been watching it every day and at night that how much i love it and i cant waite until 3rd of august when season 2 come out and to see what going to happen its going to be good love it to much and every acters in the show are so well done

nick and charlie has a speical bond and their connection towards each other and also there chemistry so powerful.and there passion is so magical and the hug that nick gave charlie is for saying iam sorry that u feel u have to keep this a secaret to me nick feel so bad that he ask charlie that but charlie is makeing sure that nick is ok that he will be there though the rough and good and he will support him in verty thing he goes though because they both love each other . and i love how nick was honest to charlie explaning what happen and how he feels and also to Imogen as well it take alot for sameone to press there feelings to people that they care about. and the photo was so beautiful them them in the snow together haveing a speical magic time together.

i love when nick ask charile to come to his house and i love that they went out side and having a snow day its was so magical and the song was perfreat its was beautiful. and at the end the song they played was so spot on because nick questing how he feel in side that is very hard for sameone going though this hoew they realy feelin

I cried at the ending of the last episode, well really all through the last episode lmao - I read the first two graphic novels a couple of years ago and loved them. Loved the show just as much if not more. I really hope they make a second season. Also they did a perfect job casting Nick

Awh, this was such a wholesome reaction! I watched this show with my little (teenage) brother and we were both LOSING it. He doesn't even like tv but we were both so invested, holding hands and screaming throughout the entire thing. I've always expected him to be lgbt (and I am too) so this seemed like the perfect show for us to watch together, it was magical! And yes, we were definitely crying as well

I'm 38 and queer and I really wish we had this show or something like it when I was growing up. I think it would have meant a lot to me. My niece is 12 and is queer too, and she and I had a little bonding moment over this show recently. I'm so glad it exists for her, such a good wholesome sweet depiction of queer joy, as you put it. i love your reaction is episode was so magic and the grils on the dance floor and when they kiss u can see nick smaile realy happy and every time he see charile u can see the glow in his eyes and he so happy to see him and when charile ask him if he would kiss him and he said yes when they kiss its was so passion and speical and also there friendship is so strong and there connection and there chemistry is so strong nothing can break them apart.

I'm pretty sure the reason i found Heartstopper was because of you and watching the adaptation, and your reaction, just warms my heart! I related to a lot of your feelings about Heartstopper, and as someone who realized and accepted their bisexuality at the age of 16, it makes me really happy to see Nick's journey and that experience of being really afraid.
