Bought 32:9 and I went from Iron I to Bronze IV. Thanks Riot Games!
wow what an improvement. I think you need an rgb mouse and speakers to really crank up that rank to bronze II
maybe you can go for a better graphics card for ur future silver IV, increase your fps pls
Don’t forget that gaming chair and auto lock xerath to hit silver 1!
Last but not least is the oppai mouse pad, that will make your hands comfortable for you to hit gold4.
Consider also buying a camera and streaming yourself to hit Gold 2 buddy!
Bought 100:9 and i see my enemies coming from base now, ty man!💪
Nice, did it come with a telescope to look at the minimap?
I believe you can spectate other games with this xD
Knows what the other team is doing before they even think about it. Watching them in there village miles behind Nexus* Watching them sleep* While we carry the boats and logs* "They don't know me son!!" Goggins.
im pretty sure with that aspect ratio you can see the aram map from summoners rift 😂😂😂
Theres also a bug i experienced where i was using snowball as nunu and the enemy ksante ulted me against a wall and my fov stayed zoomed out for the rest of the game
SAME MY CAMERA GOT MESSED UP ALL ARAM GAME
BUT ON IRELIA
new Champion, new bugs :P
Thank you for sharing, love your usual content but its still nice to see something like this! As a jungler this is a big help
thank you for watching! ^^
Been using ultra wide for a long time now. Recently bought the LG 34" UltraGear 34GN850-B . Its fucking insane. league and FPS games are on another level. Can really recommend
So basically, if you have a bigger monitor, you have a bigger advantage...
Demmet Rito, just give us the option ti ncrease the max FOV!
basically yeah, although I think the biggest monitor (32:9) is actually a disadvantage, the best spot seems to be a 21:9 running a custom resolution
@@TodayontheKoreanServer Justice for us potato users who use 1366 x 768 resolution!
If K`Sante ults you over a long wall you can also zoom out more for some reason. (Over the aram wall for Example)... Good code riot
This is truly a p2w moment
i mean he did say it on the video that getting monitor that is very wide is not good for playing league because you have to glance it to see all the information. he just show you how to abuse this weird scaling mechanic and gain benefit from it on your smaller screen which is better than a big one.
the only problem i have with playing on ultra-wide is you have to move the mouse too far to kite as an adc
you have to move your mouse all the way to the edge to look back/forward and the increased width makes it slower
increasing mouse speed makes me misclick
so i end up playing in windowed mode at 1440p 16:9
now teach me how to play like faker without getting a seizure 😁
never press the F buttons xD
@@TodayontheKoreanServer then how will i type ff to my teammates?
I've been using these settings since season 3, though what I do is go through the League of legends folder and manually adjust the screen resolution for the game
where would the file be found and what do you change in it for it to work?
@@SilverKingsPain ua-cam.com/video/yayqT1FQiy8/v-deo.html this still works until today, also make a backup file just in case, in this folder you can also optimize the game for more fps etc
How?
@@SilverKingsPain A guess it is on the folder where you have lol and its call "game" there you look for the resolution a change, for example i use 1980x850
Good luck reaching the sides of the screen to move the camera
LCS is restricted to 21:9 aspect ratio, pros do not get to use their own monitors.
Probably not important for most people, but if you want to try to get a high elo or even attempt going pro then you probably just should stick with 21:9 since riot won’t let you bring your ultra wide to lcs
The downside is that you need to move your mouse further to drag the screen, that's why I play in windowed mode 2k
downside is that you just can't pull the camera, even though the left mouse button is used for nothing
yeah but you only need to drag the screen when you run out of room. which you won't
what?
you can middle mouse click to move the screen, why do people edge drag...
@@rookm13 why do people use the mouse... you can just use the arrow keys
@@Okami400 im sorry but that is the single most dumb thing you could do while playing this game, yummi player i presume? taking an action to move your whole arm and then return to mouse is just....
the problem here is the chars names are too big because of the old monitor resolution and they let you low everything in the options menu minus the names 🤦♂
while i thought that was cool with my ultrawide. i didnt like it because i gotta move my mouse waaay too far and turn my neck to see the mini map lol
I custom resolution the aspect ratio on my LG CX. The ideal aspect ratio is in between 21:9 and 32:9. Too wide and you're seeing useless fog and 21:9 doesn't quite cover *everything*.
TOTKS VOICE?! YEAAAAA
it's been a long time since I've used the mic xD
I did everything in my 11080p monitor but when i start league it stays at 16:9 ratio, how do I make appear the custom resolution in game?
Put the game in borderless and select custom resolution
can you help me ,even though i have 1920x1080 my champions look too big ,they are too close up
Are you sure you don't lose any vertical view at all? I'm on a 42" LG c2 oled, set my custom resolution to 3840x1600, playing on widescreen is pretty cool, but I can"t tell if I'm trading vertical screen real estate for the extra width or not
yes, the vertical FOV is always the same across all resolutions, you can see when I overlap the 16:9 on top of the other resolutions it always matches the height, it's really just extra FOV with no downsides
it works with a personal ressolution setting UNTIL u go in a league of legends game. the resolution gat back to the normal one!
in League, change the window mode from fullscreen to borderless in the settings and then pick the right resolution from the dropdown menu, hope it helps
@@TodayontheKoreanServer doesnt work. as if riot would allow with an ingame setting to have different views for different players. dont fool yourself into trusting riots system.
it needs to be modified.
I can assure you it works, I've been playing with a 23/9 custom resolution on my regular monitor for months. Maybe it's different for AMD cards or something else is getting in the way, but I got it working on 2 different PCs just following the steps in this video
i have monitor 16:9 but is like 4:3 in league :/
i dunno how to change it
yo bro how can i get that cursor? it looks really cool
Thanks man, this helped a lot, i have very shitty 1600x900 monitor and it was always hard to play camile
Now I can put myself on the same level as rich people
My mother has that very large sceen (yes I'm not misspelling), I should tell her to play league with it! 😂
Can't get this to work on 2560 x 1440, it's just super zoomed in and the mouse is inaccurate
2560x1080
imagine if u could put another monitor above
I believe that's why they locked the vertical FOV, that would be much more impactful than extra horizontal fov
Ultrawides are terrible for gaming COMP play. Tomuch Eye Lag. Reccomded 24inch 1080P for the most optimal results in your reaction time.
when I put the resolution there, I don't have black bars. how do I apply them so I can benefit from this? thx!
first time hearing your voice! nice to hear
21:9 Monitors are at an All time low, even $250 for an Ultrawide monitor is damn cheap for what it offers, I grabbed 2 MSI ultrawide monitors back in march for 350 each, wish I wasn't desperate that time and could've buy it cheaper now.
i have a 27inch 165hz monitor, what Resolution do ned to put in for 21:9 ??
you can change the minimap position or maybe just the size, so it shouldn't be a problem
My 34" Ultrawide be like. (BAINES VOICE)"It Knows what the other team is doing before they even think about it." Baine. Then Goggins is like. Watching them in there village miles behind Nexus* Watching them sleep* While we carry the boats and logs* "They don't know me son!!" Goggins.
I use an ultrawise curved monitor and i dont need to turn my head to see the minimap???????
Man this doesnt work for me is anyone here that knows how to do it or can u do an updated video on how to do it?
youre so good, its completely crazy
is more simple just download a software to change the memory of the zooming and increase the distance view... is more easy, fast, free and safe.
Can you still zoom in game with extra fov ?
Bro my game even on 16/9 full HD is very zoomed in, like on 4:3 or even worse, i cant get it zoomed out, any idea what might be causing this or how to fix it?
UI hud scale
@@josebenjamin1777 how
and if you don't have a amd and an nvidia ?
Very nice, but I'm too lazy to change resolution every time I play league. Also I would be bad anyway
It's aspect ratio not resolution though
I love you man really
thx for this tips
it automatically switches back to 16:9
there's a reason 24 inches monitors are standard, I tried competitive gaming on an ultra wide LG monitor I think it was 32 inches or smth, my eyes really do not enjoy the "you spin me right round baby right round" treatment these monitors have. In short it's not an advantage, more like a nuisance
Yeah many pro plays on less bigger screens like 24 etc, also u will have to click longer distances with mouse n look more w eyes that will make u react slower but all is preff,, everything has + n -
what if i dont have nvidia how do i do it?
after i did it i couldnt move my camera free?
where do i insert the number
Ohh damn thanks for the tip very usefull
changing the resolution does effect FOV slighlty, i play on 1080 but it is windowed mode.
interesting, at what resolutions have you noticed a difference?
@@TodayontheKoreanServer between 2560x1440 and 2560x1600 (I use the first one, it's slightly windowed, you can see a little more)
Is that possible on laptop?
very helpful. thanks
for some reasons i can't make a custom resolution. i thicked to box but noyhing
+1
Not working for AMD i think :(
Im using 24 inch 1080x1920 right now. If i buy 27 inch is my FOV going to increase?
if that 27" is 16:9 too then no, size doesn't matter, only aspect ratio.
@@TodayontheKoreanServer okay thanks, then it's pointless because the ratio on the 27inch i checked is 16:9 too
but vertical is more important :(
So what resolution i have to make to get 21 or 25 aspect ratio?
it depends on the resolution of your monitor, Go here www.calculator.net/ratio-calculator.html
A=21 or 25 or anything in between
B=9
C= Your monitor horizontal resolution
hit calculate to get the vertical resolution
Any tips on setting up black borders on amd?
i just play windowed mode cuz it was too hard for me to figure it out. I can do it wit apex but not league. Not bad, sometimes u feel a little input lag but its fine
wow, gonna try, thx
how resolution doesnt make difference if i see almost 2x less on 1200 one xD
I mean that different Resolutions don't make a difference if they are the same Aspect Ratio, Resolution is different from Aspect Ratio, a 640x360 resolution will give you the exact same Field of View as 4K 3840x2160 because they have the same 16:9 Aspect Ratio, it's a different Aspect Ratio that changes the FoV and not Resolution
@@TodayontheKoreanServer k isee, thanks
there is no way but there is a way... what?
Ok but hows that fair tho??????
config 3:35 ?
bot basma sebebin ne
i play in pov. im rank 1 in north korea
At this point just use ur tv💀
meanwhile me a gold IV on a 16:10 screen 🗿
4:37 Wow I have AMD -.-
gg, monitor diff
nvidia worked
Is this a reupload? Not sire if i watch this a long time ago like 2016..
no, fresh video. there were no super ultrawides in 2016 AFAIK
Don't try this anymore, Lol made sure that if u use this u basically cant play ingame
games is a pc diff
this will not change anything. Whats most important is whats going on near your character. The micro movements in league are the most important, while glancing at the mini map. Being more zoomed out only discourages you from being aware of the mini map, and it also is more zoomed out from your character making it harder to space correctly and dodge crucial skill shots. There's a reason why many pros play on a smaller resolution so that their eyes have to do less work to see the crucial information.
You don't understand. You literally get whatever you get with 16:9, but more.
You achieve slightly more map awareness, slightly better long range skillshot accuracy, and in some cases more situational awareness.
@@Tearynite incorrect
@@user-fo8wu5bg6h say that to the endless korean pros that will forever be 10x the player you are, and ask yourself why they don't play this way?
@@Corkus1111 🤓🤓🤓
@@Corkus1111 you realize this way you can learn to play with unlocked camera easier which is the best basic habit you can get
literal pay to win.... smh
Me playing on a 4:3🥲
sorry i broke the 420 likes but good trick
Whaaaaat
Now that proves that the game is pay to win 😊
but its not free 💀
Permanent?
Haha, this shit is so unfair..
And no, I won't buy a fcking screen just for lol
the width doesn matter lmao its the up and down, when i play my screen is always basically not on my character lmao. i am GM adc
hehe
hey! :P
So.. Pay to win.
pay to win?
Broken
This shouldnt be legit
it is, you can't be banned for changing your monitor's resolution
Any mechanic outside the game but without programs is totally valid, it's like plugging in multiple monitors. there is no hardware ban
pay to win lol

FIRST!
what a trash game honestly xD
have fun moving your mouse to the corner and back....
surprisingly easy, I thought that would be a problem too but it isn't, give it a try and you'll see
