I admire her so much. She started out naive and unconfident. Now...she is a conqueror. A confident conqueror. Of course all rulers make mistakes, that is the purpose of the small council.
It’s a shame they gave her good lines to Jorah, killed off Barristan and turned her to Hitler in Post Production. Honestly I feel sorry for the people that didn’t read the series. After season 1, the character Daenerys disappeared from the show and Emilia became the focal point. I can promise you, that was Emilia we saw from season 2 onwards; they killed the character off in season 2. I don’t recognize whoever that character is, that they swore was Dany. That is not the Khaleesi we know. If you admire what was supposed to be her story I highly suggest reading the series if you haven’t already! I know it’s so daunting but seriously, Dany’s arc alone is worth it. I love, love, LOVE Stannis’ and Stoneheart’s arcs, too. Tyrion’s is very fun as well, I just hate Faegon and therefor hate Tyrion’s chapters with him. Gets better once he gets to Meereen. :}
Dany is my all-time favorite character and I actually think she is the chosen one, Azor Ahai, the Princess that was Promised, she is the savior of Westeros!!! There is something truly special about her! This is a lovely tribute to her!!
Its Reaz - We could argue about that ad nauseam but I just don’t think it would matter so I’m not going to. Jon is not the be all, end all of everything. I’ve actually been compelled to now believe BOTH Dany AND Jon will be the saviors, not just one. They both are, that is why they were brought together, they can only defeat the NK together and no, Dany is NOT Nissa Nissa.
