It’s not “unfortunate” that black history isn’t taught in our school system. That is by design.

As a new arrival in San Antonio in uniform headed for training at For Sam Houston,it was a hot as hell day in The big state of Texas and the training I got there helped me do my duty to save lives in Vietnam and at least 7,200 black and brown warriors were killed there and if you ever visit that Memorial honoring at least 58,000 Americans for their sacrifice, folks if you stood there in front of that symbolic pond of blood given in sacrifice…Tourists nor Americans would never know their race and assume all were white folks..And when I returned home to my red state …That Confederate flag of the slave states flew over my Capitol and was finally removed on July 10,2015 a very hot and humid day in the new South..And I contributed at least a quart of blood myself..Doc…🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

I went to Lincoln Jr High in 1966 LBJ elementary in 1965. We moved to Crown Homes in 1965 . My father bought a home there. When we moved to Greece in 67 he sold the home which was as he later said was a mistake. I have fond memories of living there.

I hope that you make more video content in a longer version. I hope that you might consider adding some of the resources for the source material that you are using in your content. Maybe it might spark the curiosity of our people (All age groups to become stronger in learning are cultural history) . This is the main ingredient for having a strong foundation in the willingness to stand on that foundation without bending the truth you come from. Knowing yourself and having knowledge yourself.

Images are very important in providing evidence of Black history that has purposely been left out of the educational school system. Along with the fabricating of our contributions to society across the global world. The choices of your images go off the rails in terms of matching your words. Use of words and language is critical in and tell me historical events in history a Black People. This is highly important because we have plenty of evidence of examples of how our story has been told falsely.
