Try the Members Mark oven and fryer cleaner from Sams Club.
Works amazingly well, and very affordable.

Put aluminum foil under the burners and you avoid that entire process. Its easier to take out some foil and clean the grate and deflectors.

Is there an easy way to wrap that bottom heat diffuser with foil? Lots of nooks and crannies which may get difficult to wrap.

Seriously, your "dirty" stove is cleaner than my stove after I've cleaned it. I really liked how you were able to lift the wind shield and the steel mesh and manage to have clean hands almost as if the stove wasn't even dirty to begin with,......AMAZING, WOW!!!!!!! this is the best video ever of how to clean a already clean stove!!!!! PS in Australia we call em BBQ

Just a heads up--that bottom trey looks like galvanized steel, and vinegar removes galvanization. That coating is to prevent rust. Thats why it looks spotty after using the vinegar (the dark grey is the bare steel), and will unfortunately be prone to rust now.

If you use it a few times the "galvanised " is gone

I usually get "Awsome" spray cleaner from the dollar store. It's biodegradable. Spray it on. Wait 5 to 10 minutes. Spray again & wait another 5 minutes. Then hose off. Works great in less than 24 hours.

Hi 6400, the igniters can get wet. Just give them a chance to dry before you use them.
