Crate gx130c is similar but not exactly the same. The preamps might be based on each other and they might *technically* be made by the same company but the only VH140C can produce this god tier tone. Trust me. I have a VH and my buddy has both a VH and a GX and they are not created equal. Plug a bass into a VH and instantly get teleported to heaven.

No it's straight in with a dimarzio super D. The speakers in that Emperor bass cab are eminence alpha 12 8ohm
What kind of pickups and tuning?
distor-tron pickup by Developing Nation Guitars and drop A but its a few cents lower I believe, probably drop A @ 435hz
