@@StreetsOfVancouverChanneldefinitely! For the effects alone I think it’s worth more than $180 but it’s got some really great amp sounds too! I’ll have to sit and actually learn how to use it and make presets but right out the box sounds really good 🤘
Thank you for the cleaner, bluesy, abrupt playing tones in this demo!! I've watched dozens of demos of the Pod Express, it's all metal shredding and no choppy chords/notes, etc. And thanks for the clean channel demo!!
Also, to the people complaining about “not reading the manual” or whatever, I actually prefer a video that shows someone figuring it out in real time vs the overproduced nonsense that shows none of the journey. Think it gives a more authentic impression of how easily the interface gets picked up if nothing else.
Wow, great video. You definitely showed how easy it is to get a good tone out of the Box. The noise gate can be controlled by global settings, of which there are a fair amount. I got this to use for effects on my Tonex. So far I’ve been having fun with the very good amp models onboard. Great playing, subbed
Great video because it not only demonstrates the Pod Express but it really shows off your chops. Really nice stuff. Glad I subscribed just from listening to that demo.
I got one its nice great sound quality of all the effects. I did drop it by accident on hard floor but it did not break still working good ! Thanks for the pedal review showing effects. Great playing! You really captured the sound of the pedal effect through interface.
Thanks for useful demo of this new Pod Express, I'm looking to buy one. Since some folks think an IRX pedal sounds like a Friedman BE-100 it's worth mentioning that "Crunch" is a Friedman BE-100 sim. Be interesting to hear a comparison?
Does Playing LINE 6 POD make anyone else really happy? LINE 6 POD is quickly becoming my favorite pedal. It's just so beautiful and sexy. Practically free and the second you drop her on the board that chill ass mofo gives you a Rich Dark Gushing Robust tone.. And you also get this cute little 1/1 feedback response usually too harmless to be forgotten. But more than that, the Line 6 Pod is just so positively alluring. It comes on the board like "do you want to cast a spell?" and I'm like "yeah Line 6 Pod i do want to cast a spell let's do this shit" and when she attacks she's like "SPELLS ARE FUN" and I'm like "yeah they are SO FUN." She doesn't say some bullshit macho shit like "I will destroy you" she's just like "nah spells are fun and voodoo spooky.” And she looks so happy. I mean this is an inanimate object that literally brought my guitar to life by magic. It understands it's life is a temporary magical gift and the dude is just fucking loving it. I mean just look at her face she’s just so happy and cute as a button. I am literally never sad when Line 6 Pod is on board. IDK if she's gonna ever make it into the pedal HOF or not, but for now she a super dope chill pedal.
Great presentation; gives us an idea what to expect sound-wise. I have a question, though. Is there a way to adjust the rate of the modulation effects? Perhaps the TAP button does the job, but, if so, what happens when both Delay and Mod are on?
He does discuss the differences a bit, but he doesn't have one with him in the studio. You have a point. It's not much of a comparison. I'd like to see him do a real one.@@Neil-Aspinall
I think this is a killer little pedal especially for only $180. Do you like the sound of the POD Express?
Tremendous value for that superb form factor. It sounds great overall!

Sounds awesome! Then again, look who's playing through it.
Thank you so much! I appreciate it! 🤘
Just ordered mine!! Love how you keep the pedal on the screen so people can see the settings you’re using btw - slick presentation and super helpful.

Longtime Line6 user and I was blown away by how great it sounds and how easy it is to use

Great video bro! You should post more quick and tasty licks that we can "steele" 😉
Came across your channel....nice demo, good tone and intention, loved at 6.18...is your guitar tuned 1/2 step lower?
Thank you.
Great playing, man. For $180, that thing is a steal!
Thanks dude! I absolutely agree. It’s a great product for that price!
great demo sick playing

When are people going to compare the new Boss IR2 with this pedal? Now that would be interesting.
That would be a great comparison! Unfortunately, I don’t have that pedal.
leo gibson did it, check it out
John Nathan Cordy compared them on his UA-cam channel.
@@georgesb1 Watch it he doesn't at all.

Holy chops man!
did you figure out the noise gate thing
What are you playing it through? Do the amps color the sound of your amp?
I’m curious how this pedal would sound with an acoustic set up like for solos over a looper
What model Les Paul is that?
It’s a 2007 standard
LINE 6 POD EXPRESS vs friedman ir x amp section please!
I sure wish you would have played the Lead mode!!!!!!!!!
Mine wants to distort a little no matter settings !! Got to be my stupid
Gimmick. Your tn gave it away 😊
Oh no you caught me
@@JordanSteelej/k, seems a good multi fx pedal for its price
9:00 Nice tone.
The thumbnail for this video...did you sit on something very unexpected?
Killer
🤘
shocked face, I don't watch videos which have that as poster image
I’ll take some more photos soon!
So what's the verdict. A child's toy or more
I think it’s totally worth. I’ve gotta do some more testing but certainly a great backup rig
Maybe u should read up on the unit befor u demo it
This was a first impressions. I will demo it at a later time! Thanks for watching!
