This reminds me of a recent convention I went to where Greg sistero from the room was there. He didn’t really have many people going to his table they went to rob Paulson, Maurice lamaurch, or someone else.
LOL, the batman dude mentions how he thinks the show sucks because of the little league episode, the evil billionaire, and how it's like the Simpsons. Then in the next scene there's the evil billionaire in little league uniform and he says "d'oh!' just like in the Simpsons.
@@SmashLiXs I remember that. The first episode aired was actually the second episode that relied on flashbacks from the first episode produced. I recall watching thinking 'this doesn't make any sense'.
@@xombified2779 Yep. I watched the second episode so I didn't know if they were actually flashbacks or wtf was going on but I still enjoyed the show and hoped to see more. Sad that it was pulled so fast.
Funny enough I feel like this show is funnier for being restrained from swearing like the movie. It’s not better, but it’s not worse. It’s a different animal and it forces the writers to be a little more clever and creative with jokes.
the very least I wish this show made it to 13 episodes hahahaha! This cartoon was my introduction to the Kevin Smith world and my mind was blown when I would learn a few months after that a Jay and Silent Bob movie would be coming out!
the sign at the start was epic. man they should bring this show back. its on adult swim so who knows maybe it can ressurect it like it did for family guy and is doing for futurama.
I was incredibly lucky and caught several episodes of this show as it was first airing. It was great but it was pulled off the air fast without explanation. No idea why since it seemed to have quite a good reception...... maybe since I never watched the movie I was able to enjoy it but fk you, I don't care about the movie. This was a great show.
honestly the second episode was probably one of the funniest and is the best showcase of the very meta humour that the clerks show had, having your second episode be a clip show where you just cut back to the first episode is a hilarious concept and really subverts expectations.
It would’ve been hilarious if this happened: Dante: Next question. Fan: Yeah, where are Jay and Silent Bob? Those guys are way funnier than you. Randal: Yeah, where are Jay and Silent Bob? They were supposed to meet us here. (Cuts to Jay and Silent Bob outside of QuickStop) Jay: Hey, Silent Bob. Weren’t we supposed to go to some Q and A session at a comic convention? Yeah, I forgot too
*”I Can’t believe it, they hate the show”*
*”Heheh yeah, and they think your gay”*
I find it funny how this is what kevin smith thought people would think of the show...even though we all love it
That’s why it’s funny.
"What does it feel like to have no souls and a black heart?"
I asked that question to every commander I had in the military.
Seems like a question for current Kevin smith
@@punklover99 the Kevin Smith of this time would hate what he might become.
"This can't be. Maybe we're early"
"Actually, we're 10 minutes late" 😂😂😂😂
“Uh, hi… loyal fans. I’m Dante and this is Randall, we’re the stars of the hit ABC cartoon Clerks, and we’re ready to take your questions.”
I'd love to see a revival of this show.
"That wasn't even a question."
:D
"What's the the matter, Spade? Nobody love you?" my favorite part!
It was a good burn!
Mine too and I can't stand David Spade.
This reminds me of a recent convention I went to where Greg sistero from the room was there. He didn’t really have many people going to his table they went to rob Paulson, Maurice lamaurch, or someone else.
love the david spade cameo

You sure summed up the joke perfectly
Yep, that’s exactly what happened
Are you going to recap everything that happened in this video?
Miramax owned by 20th Century.
The part with David Spade always cracks me up.
Way to cancel cartoon awesomeness, ABC. Way to go.
they canceled it after only 2 episodes aired in the wrong order out of the 6 episodes made
@@SmashLiXs I remember that. The first episode aired was actually the second episode that relied on flashbacks from the first episode produced. I recall watching thinking 'this doesn't make any sense'.
ABC didn’t have a clue.
@@xombified2779 Yep. I watched the second episode so I didn't know if they were actually flashbacks or wtf was going on but I still enjoyed the show and hoped to see more. Sad that it was pulled so fast.
The show lasted 2 episodes on TV 23 years ago.
Although I have never been to a comic book convention (or Star Wars or Star Trek, for that matter), this seems to be eerily accurate.
This is pretty much 95% accurate. I’ve been to a almost empty panel before. Only once.
Don't forget the smell
Ahahha that first question tho xD
Funny enough I feel like this show is funnier for being restrained from swearing like the movie. It’s not better, but it’s not worse. It’s a different animal and it forces the writers to be a little more clever and creative with jokes.
it's like it's on the simpsons
D'Oh
How about adult swim... or HBO?
maybe it would've had more than 6 episodes....
This show would’ve been good if they signed with anyone other than ABC.
"whts the matter spade? nobody loves you?
...noo... xD
This is how clerks fans reacted to clerks 3 as well
Who tf voices the batman guy. Sounds really fucking familiar
Kevin McDonald from "Kids in the Hall."
Kevin McDonald voice of pleakly from lilo and stitch, almighty tallest purple from invader Zim and others
I've seen this episode tons of times, and I just now realized the last guy was wearing a Mooby's shirt.

why are we walking like this?
That hobo in the front row. XD
I like to revisit this every so often because I think Kevin McDonald nails his assignment.

How did the hobo get into comic con?
D'OH!
I liked the show
that wusnt even a question
it should have been aired on fox
It could have been on UPN.
@@eyeseer1 Touchstone was intended to air it on UPN, but Kevin Smith was against airing it on a network that would go off the air quickly.

they had to mess up on episode 2
why did they do the flashback episode
