This is an excellent radio. All controls well laid out. Audio on tx is superb with Heil Pro set . You can pull weak sigs out of the noise and work em. I usually pick out call signs on the first shout while other stations are asking for a repeat...
It'd be nice if test results & user comments were included with these videos. This is more of an overview than it is a review. Mine has a great receiver in it.
Another thing lacking - on the back - something that any new radio should have as a matter of course... an IF out for SDR monitoring! Will this be as slow in coming as USB outputs were/are?
I have Icom-7410. currently it can't be turned on, because it hasn't been activated for a long time. Maybe someone can provide input. I will be very happy, if anyone gives advice. Best Regards Joppy

I've always wanted a radio that spoke Japanese.
Anyway, Icom is the best radio builder out there.
+Ade Larsen Note to self : About to purchase 7410 :-)

Thanks Bob. It would be nice if this had back lit keys.
No 2m. Why is Icom all about leaving something important out of their radios? It's frustrating. Similar gripe with the 7200. Why no FM on 10m, etc?
hey in the beginning of the video you say it has an ATU, but near the end when you show the backpanel you say it's an option ?? 73's on5di
The internal tuner is weak. The rear jack is for an external tuner, which usually tunes a wider range than the internal one.
Is there another radio, in that same case, that uses the two unused SO239 slots in the back? Thanks!
Thanks for the 720p - for some reason the sound is only in the left channel... but that's OK for now... at least the pic quality matches the material!
thanks for the walk through on the ICOM IC-7410

How does this radio compare with the Kenwood 590sg?
