When the textile industry went overseas many small GA towns suffered or died.
Same thing happened when slavery ended.
@@peppersghosttheater why that's ignorant
@@CooldBloodedGaming it's a fact. Learn some history and be educated, not opinionated
@@peppersghosttheater what's a fact exactly?
@DICK LONG most old run down towns in georgia are because the textile business left, it wasnt a huge financial leap between slavery a paid labor
I lived in Ga for a very long time. I love that state. But yes, Georgia has some very poor areas. Many because of loss of large farms or mechanization. But yes, GA is a beautiful state.
Trump would tell you that small farms didn't make it because they were not smart enough and were beat out by smarter people. True story.
Ron Simons i agree with all your comment except the last statement. Check the roadside ditches. Better known as the worlds largest landfill. Georgia USED to be a beautiful state. Sadly, it is now one of the most trashed.
Every state has poor areas
I really love South Georgia if I had the money I was going to retire I would go to South Georgia I'm originally from Georgia lived in Houston Texas 45 years I would go back to Georgia very small town not Atlanta that's where I was raised no don't want no part of Atlanta Georgia I hate it or maybe took Florida like Melbourne Florida and yes yes I would love to go there but my daughter is looking for land out here in Texas we live in a subdivision I hate it you have a HMO and they're thieves they're robbing you blind not perfect these homeowners associations there nothing too damn Crooks coach to be on the board and I told him no because I represent change and you don't want change you like it the way it is because everybody still there that's got to hand in the cookie jar and I would stop it all well they didn't ask me again and I wonder why LOL
Here's the bottom line if you have a lot of land you worth money that is liquidity and you can do anything to that land that you want and the farming areas hell yes. If I had small land in Georgia I would open up a RV park I would have a pool I sure would have the Lazy River for them and you bet I'd set it up to where I was the place to go and Beyond the place where they pass you all the time on the roads and all of you are there's you travel the back road so that's where I would have my Park. If you build it they will come
Awww....most of middle Georgia and South Georgia is on the list. Sad because the people there are really terrific.
No...
Sugar Sheila yes
Im from savannah and i love it
I live in middle Georgia thank you
@ Squirmin Herman the one eyed German Washington Georgia here. Aka Wilkes county Georgia
I was born up north, but my mother's people were from Fort Valley, so I visited every summer in the 60's and 70's...the oppressive heat, bugs and scary kudzu made me hate it as a kid. As an adult, I appreciate the quiet, laid back, country atmosphere. Fort Valley has an HBCU and the Bluebird school bus plant that makes school buses for cities all over the country.
I'm from the Historical side of College Park, GA but I live in Arlington, VA, by way of my ex-husband who's from D.C., but has GA roots as well. Speaking in line with the video's topic, my middle sister graduated from Fort Valley State & Uinversity back in 2001. And I have cousins in Gerard. I'm sorry, but these places are just too rural for me. I need street lights at night and a Walmart or a major grocery store closer than an hour away, AT LEAST!! LOL My daughter and I have driven home the past 2 summers to visit family and friends and each time it has tugged on my heartstrings. I know Atlanta and a few of the surrounding neighborhoods aren't as safe anymore, but t's still home to me...
PS. I forgot to mention that my stepfather was in the Army and we lived in Augusta on Fort Gordon for a few years. It's rural too, but nothing like the places mentioned in the video!! Whew!
@@thisisHowHedidit What's the historical side of College Park, Georgia? I grew up in College Park; it's a part of greater Atlanta next to the airport.
I lived in Georgia all my life and never heard of those towns.
Jonathan Hearn Sardis is south of Augusta. Lived in Ga since 87 and have heard of most of them and can point ya in the direction of the reat.
Me too. The only one I heard of is Quitman, because that's not too far from my hometown, Valdosta.
sardis and hiltonia are located between savannah and augusta .
EricaYE6 yof do you know where Lakeland Georgia is
@Jeremy Zisman
Nope.
Most of the small towns only have one small source of income. The local politicians deliberately limit the amount of jobs. They dont want the citizens prospering.its a power thing.
Not true. Small towns mostly limit employment opportunities to keep WAGE COMPETITION from affecting the already established employers. They don't want a business moving into town offering $20hr when everyone else pays $12hr. It's to keep from rocking the wage boat to much.
Actually in Fort Valley that is exactly why. It's always had a bad reaction to change or diversity in any amount. The other reason is because keeping a town impoverished keeps the funding coming in. That aversion to change has kept a lot of good paying jobs and better resources out of Fort Valley. If the wages aren't at a certain level the rents shouldn't be either, probably why there are slum lords and blight everywhere.
North Georgia is completely different from both Atlanta and the hit dusty south Georgia towns mentioned. Gorgeous mountains, great vibe and lots of outdoor adventure.
i live 10 miles from helen and it is beautiful here but it does suck when all the folks from atlanta and surrounding areas make their way up here! we have mostly 2 lane roads and boy does it turn into a nighmare for us who live here to get to work and other places we need to be! the eclipse was the worst! dont want to go through that again!
julie byrne greetings from beautiful Ball Ground pop. 783 lol
South Georgia it sucks depressing really
@Jeffrey Craven 😃😄😃😄😃😄😃
And lots of meth😂😂. I lived in Jackson County and it's running rampant there, I moved to Stockbridge recently and love it!
Well bless your heart sugar.
I lived in coastal GA since 1998, I thought about leaving but this is my home. Love Georgia!
We met the nicest ppl in a boot store in a little town just outside Atlanta last year. Boy oh boy did they ever save our butts and steer us right when telling us exactly how to avoid Atlanta traffic the next morning. Told us what time we had to be on the road by and what to look for. It was such a smooth ride into Knoxville. They might have been angels! LOL 😉😁
Kelly LF It sounds like you may have been in Commerce Ga at one of the Boot outlet stores. Just a guess .. There are definitely angels 👼 among us.
@Shawn Lawson Creep!!!!
Griffin?
Okay but that Mexican restaurant you showed in Fort Valley is the one good thing about it 😂
Paige Thompson I usually get either the Tapatio special or their grilled Shrimp and rice plate.
I was thinking that haha
You right lol.
Love the Mexican restaurant there also
Yes they do have great Mexican food for that area 😋😀
Good gravy! Hand-to-God, I grew up exactly between #1 and #2! Just a few miles between them. Wouldn’t trade it for the world! Thanks for a fun video. Subscribed.

Georgia, a good place to be from....
Word I'm from Valdosta
I moved to a small town in far NEGA from big city St. Pete, FL. Although I loved St.Pete, the traffic, crime, and people focused only on status, money, things, I chose to have a quality of life in the verdant, dewy mountains of NEGA. Forests, waterfalls, amazing wildlife and great people have renewed my life. I now grow camellias, and wildflowers to help sustain our pollinators. What! A! Life! I rarely hear a police siren or ambulance. I’ve yet to have an epithet or 🖕hurled at me for taking my time. Life is great in NEGA. So, mean people stay away!
Clayco is in the Urban Dictionary
Nega. I like that. Like Nega Please!! 👍🏿 👍🏿 but it is like Shangri La in NEGA. I’m in Toccoa a few times each year. Two thumbs up!!
I'm in largo Florida right by st pete and my husband and I are trying to move to Georgia for exactly same reasons my kids are almost adults and it's time to get back to basics
I live in Twin City, near Swainsboro (this guys #3 worst town) and I live a happy life similar to that you described. I'm surrounded by tall Georgia pines, friendly people, and I never hear police sirens. I love it here! I've got a garden and feel entirely fulfilled. No we don't have organic vegetables or Kombucha at the grocery stores, but I'll take nature and friendly folks over busy people that have "important places to go", far too important to give anyone a wave or a smile, any day and every day.
WE PERFER NO ONE COME HERE
I'm a native Georgia peach, but never heard of "Hilltonia" or Sardis...Damn!
Afternoon Delight sardis is close to where I stay
Afternoon Delight I’ve been to both. They are farm towns. Ghost towns
I... live in sardis.
Aj Walker Ok, what County is Sardis in?
Good ole Burke county.
When they showed quitman they showed spook bridge. Me and the homies been there lots of times. We heard very strange noises at night
I live in Georgia and I haven't heard of some of those towns. I get the strange feeling many of them are in southwest GA. Then again, I live around the Atlanta metropolitan area.
TheGeoScholar A couple were southeast near Savannah area.
TheGeoScholar middle and south ga
I've been through middle Georgia. The furthest south I've been in Georgia is Savannah.
I stay in the metro Atlanta area to an I’ve heard of hilltop if yk pike county that’s hilltop
Atlanta isn't apart of Georgia... is it? lol
I live in Montezuma, kountry farm center (the ribbon cutting scene) is one of the best hardware and bait and tackle places in Georgia
Don't forget to mention Yoders. Love that food there.
Any consideration to doing a Top 10 Best Small Towns in Georgia? Your videos, are insightful and entertaining. Thanks..
Top tens towns? Lol.
The list would bottom out at 4 or 5. Ever been to Ga. You would know. Once again if you are not in Atlanta or the outskirts like Stone Mountain or even Warner Robbins though it's an hour outside, MAcon, Athens, Savannah, or on the coast you may as well start packing. Try visiting Waycross, Vidalia, Hazelhurst, Moultree, Augusta, and Dalton just to name a few. It is literally depressing...
If you are at a different city for an event that brings tons of outsiders from other places its ok... like Augusta during the masters isn't bad but other than that. We sometimes call it Disgusta. Lol
FTN PPG hey watch it augusta isn’t that bad and vidalia isn’t bad either
@@graybarbee5069 Yeah he lost me when he said Augusta... And Augusta is bigger and has more than Macon and about the size of Savannah just without the beach
@@ftnppg1272 What do you find appealing about Macon? I plan to leave here and retire to Collins. Its a nice area. Nice people. You just have to drive a long way to do any shopping that isnt online. Macon is a toilet. Theres either a robbery or a murder or 2 almost every day.

Cool video. I have lived in Georgia for 36 years and yes, we do have a smattering of crappy little bohunk towns. But by vast majority, our good places outnumber our piss pots. My wife and I have a very nice 3-BR in a particularly nice (but not snooty) neighborhood in beautiful Columbus, home of Ft. Banning (Moore), where I retired after a long and mostly pleasurable 25 years as an infantry officer in the Army. I consider Georgia an extra cool place to live. Thank you.
These are the best towns. Low crime, low population, mom n pop stores, and people are friendly
Exactly. This creature is just trying go make income off a video. Insane.
Hello from Young Harris, Georgia!!!! Born and raised! Moved away a time or two but always come back! There's no place like home!
Tanya Miller i know exactly what you mean. Its always nice to go “back hone” there is a comfort yo know that when you move away to places like Jersey and such that friendly faces and familiar places are just a plane ticket away. Currently i am in Arizona but try to make it back home at least once or twice a year. The bad part to this is now i am on the back end of my life and friends and family are starting to die off. We all joke around about who will be last to go reminding ourselves the last one left to turn out the lights before they go. God bless the state that i love dearly and may God bless America.
Aye blairsville born and raised here! Howdy neighbor.
@@Auldus hey!!!! Awesome!
Went to college there! Love YH!!!
From Gainesville here, I love Young Harris, Gum Log, Dahlonega, used to love Blairsville but it's too populated now. Wish I could buy or afford land in Suches. I really miss GA, but it isn't home anymore, after living a free life in Alaska, I could never return there.
I wish I could love Georgia (my home state) as much as this man does.
Hey! Only us collins GA people can talk trash about our town😂😂

I'm from Glennville. Just down the road by 20 miles or so. I never figured it would make a list like this LOL.
Quitman is actually 45 min away from thomasville, and valdosta. That's like living in Temple and being near Atlanta on a smaller scale

Macon was a great place in the 70s, and 80s, Rock n' Roll big acts, all the time.

nic sharp - most Georgians are not crazy about driving through Atlanta...lol. I loved it when I was younger, but as I age I love living in small town Ga.
John Fisher yea
All the images you see here is what most of GA looks like.
The best town is Dahlonega. Safe and people are SUPER nice
Mostly White ... That's why it's mostly tight
True I went there once
Angry Seahorse yes. I agree. I love Dahlonega. What part of Georgia are you from? I’m from Washington Georgia.
Fort Valley is a rough town, but the El Tapatio Mexican restaurant shown in the beginning is VERY good! Montezuma also has a very good home cooking restaurant run by a Mennonite family.

Alot of stuff is shot here now. Infinity War shot mostly in Atlanta and the surrounding area.
Hawkins Indiana also Hawkins ga🤙🤙
I forgot about that
Being a resident of the great state of Georgia I believe you failed to realize that these old small towns are mainly farming communities. You portray them as shitty due to their lack of business but it’s the great people that make these towns some of the best to apart of. Peace and quiet with great biblical morals and low crime isn’t what your idea of being a great small town is
Naah boring
Sounds like racist country ignorant church fanatics live there. No thanks
Thank you for the shout out for the Girard Lifesaver. Although I live in Indiana, I randomly give to various pet organizations throughout the country as well as here. Hey, where's the 'stop typing.' You need to copyright that!
Georgia is a beautiful state....well there r many things but the Clayton area is my favorite....it’s heavenly to me. Wish I could live there but I can’t be away from my grandkids...Savanah is wonderful...Thomasville and Madison Ga is another beautiful town..but North Ga...near the Blue Ridge mtns r the best
Fancy's Folly. What is so beautiful about it ?
David Frehlini I just told you....Clayton area...Tallulah Falls...Dillard, Ga... those r my favorite areas...there are beautiful places on the coast..Savannah is a painted lady! There’s so much to love about the Peach state...Cumberland Island, with the wild ponies...Sapelo island with echos of the GeeChee culture...still there..the musical and lilt of the GeeChee accent....the farm country all over Ga..Jekyl Island...Icould go on all day. But I’ll hush now..
Fancy's Folly. Well I am also White and I prefer to be with a White Woman because I do not believe in these inter racial relationships or Friendships or what ever else. But I do not at all care for Southern White Women.
David Frehlini well David...I think we will manage down here in the south without your friendship or approval...I think I can speak for most southerners and say...good riddance! Don’t bother us and I can assure u, we won’t bother you! And as far as relationships between different ethnic backgrounds, my nephew, a blue eyed blonde young man, fell in Love with a beautiful girl from the Philippines...their little boy is one of the most beautiful children I’ve ever seen...he is brilliant...knew how to read at3 or 4...my son is dating a gorgeous young woman from Costa Rica...it’s a different world now...young people don’t have those racist attitudes like some old people...we are all from the very same Essence...the Essence of God...He created all of us...to hate your fellow human beings because they just happen to have been born with a different background or skin color..that, to me is like hating God...there’s no room for hate in my heart...I won’t have it...
I like Thomasville. Whole family is from Cairo.
I would add Helena-McRae, Eastman, Glenville, Alamo, and Cordele.
Right? Eastman was listed as the 6th most corrupt place in the United States. I should know, I'm from there.
Ugh yeah. I moved dentist just so I couldn't go to Eastman anymore.

@SpectreNRO411 wrong, ATL is 💯🔥
Living in a small Georgia town is absolutely depressing and miserable. I can’t wait to get out.
Really? Why? It’s so beautiful. I’ve been wanting to move to the Georgia mountains for a long time now. I’m older (54) and don’t mind the slow pace. I’m over living in my area. I’m about an hour from Seattle and this place has gone to hell. Where would you go?
A small town yeah, 20,000 is a decent number.
@@DynamicBailey well it's mainly because they'res nothing to do and not anough people.
@@DynamicBailey North GA is like an entirely different world than the southern part of the state in lots of ways. Having lived in the bottom half my entire life, when I hear guys from north GA complain about how they want to leave their area for whatever reason, I tell them they don’t know how good they have it up there. Let them live on the coastal plain for one summer and they’ll be ready to go back.
@@andyblack5687 I can attest to that. I live in a small town in Northwest GA just south of Rome. Its really pretty here, to be sure, but the economy of my county isn't great. I have lived in South Georgia my whole life as well and have heard of half of these towns. I live in a very rural county in South Georgia and love it. I drive 45 minutes to work but I am okay with that because my kids have a better school system where we live at. Live in the sticks and would not trade it and glad we got a Dollar General because the nearest Wal-mart is 45 minutes away as well. Great community and people!
My family is from SW Ga. Glad I am not!

No jobs in all these towns with high unemployment and primarily white, but full of conservatives... someone help me understand.
Lots are retirement towns. Old folks move there to die essentially cause all the young folk left.
T- work on an ambulance in a dying town.
Low levels of educational attainment...
You could also wonder about towns with high violence and murder rates that are primarily black and full of democrats... help me understand 🙃
You’re right about the jobs but my entire area code which is 478 is predominantly black... As a matter of fact you might see that area code pop up 3 or 4 times on this list
Most of the black people in my town are poor, most of the whites are conservative and half of them are doing decently for themselves
I was born in Atlanta, my mom was born in Lawrenceville, my dad was born in Monroe and I have cousins who live in Toccoa. Yea. Georgia is a great state.
Industry and farming left these towns without hope or work, in the old days they were good towns to be in. Not every town can be ATL, thank goodness!
Some of these towns look just like home to me....... I live in Blue Ridge deep in the sticks...You couldnt pay me to live in the city.....City folks is all about money and ate up with greed... I live in Waycross and have worked 911 in Quitman. It honestly is a nice little town for the most part.. the road that runs north of the courthouse towards the hospital is a very nice and idealistic neighborhood. On the other hand, most every thing else is hood or trailer park style.
I am a very recent transplant from Virginia. We had to move to Statesboro, where Georgia Southern University hired my girlfriend. Almost all these towns are within an easy driving distance and I have seen a couple them. Did you know that Hopeyoulikeit is on the way to Swainsboro from here? Now there is a small town I think you missed. BTW, Statesboro is the home of Blind Willie McTell who wrote Statesboro Blues in 1928. The original version is much different than the cover The Allman Bros made so popular. Statesboro is one of the few places that Sherman didn't burn to the ground on his march from Atlanta to Savannah. Just thought you'd like to know.
I’m shocked Sylvania (Screven county) didn’t top the list. Although it’s a small town with zero industry and poor folks, we love this little town. Just plain ole good people.
Booger hugs...who are you...I was born in screven county ... left for good in 1976... now live in the mountains of NE Pennsylvania... this is my home now...go to visit... still have family that live in Statesboro... and swainsboro...
Darien, GA has all the hallmarks mentioned on most of the list, but has the added bonus of being corrupt. Their police force continually is under investigation. They also built a giant outlet mall in the 90s, only for it to go completely bust within a few years.
But they have the best seafood in Ga.
@@haydenhowze7016 Actually, it's all from the same Atlantic Ocean. Millions of people eat it.
One little town in Georgia doesn't hold the monopoly on that.

This is just one person's opinion, and I'll leave it at that. By the way, Sir, head west to the flatlands; you know the Cornbelt and all those good, high American value places; you'll find some eye-opening statistics relating to social programs. There are economic issues in many places.
Just FYI:
Hiltonia is pronounced Hill-tōn-yuh. (I don’t know why.) Also, a really big thank you for the shoutout to Girard Lifesaver. They do great work and could really use the donations! Great video.
Because of the Hilton family that used to own the land there. The ia ending just signifies a city. The pronunciation is to force the southern accent out of you.
Chenille bedspreads were a cottage industry. They were made in the home and sold on the side of the road. Freshly grown produce, honey, and other goods would have sold as well. The Interstate Highways killed all that. The US and State highways lost travelers, gas stations closed along with everything else. I thought for sure my town would make this list, but after hearing the population sizes on these towns... heck, I'm living in a metropolis next to these places.

I moved to GA a few years ago, to work with the State Department of Labor. I started in Augusta, then transferred to Macon. When I talked to people and explained where I worked, many of them believed I was rich! My job required me to travel extensively, and I covered a large portion of the middle to eastern counties, about 20 in total. I had to learn the county roads and through ways, as the only major highways were way out of the way to drive to various towns. Once I took 1-75 from Augusta to Macon, and it took nearly 3 hours. I got really spooked when it got dark, cause I couldn’t see anything! Cars would drive with their brights on, I guess to avoid striking deer, or other animals. I got to see a lot of GA, because of the traveling I did. I enjoyed my adventures, and I learned a lot about the south. Loved many of the restaurants, which weren’t here in the North. Chic-Fil-a was one of my favorites, along with Zaxby’s, Piccadilly’s, Krystal’s, and I loved shopping at The Fresh Market. Once, I was in the field, my coworker and I stopped to get something to eat at a local eatery. It appeared that we arrived the same time some men were coming in, perhaps from a mountain, to eat, and they waited patiently while I tried to figure out what to order. I felt bad when I realized I might’ve been holding up their lunch time…so polite…
Just a small FYI . . . I-75 doesn't run from Augusta to Macon. I'm sure you meant Atlanta to Macon. 😊
Macon is only 2 hours from here.
Cogdel, Argyle, Manor, Homerville, Dupont, Pearson, Statenville, Stockton, Willacoochee, Naylor. . How about stats on these 10.
You from Lakeland? Because you just drew a huge circle around it 😂😂😂
And Surrency, pronounced Suhency.
Teeterville
Georgia has the most counties and they are mainly small. Hence the extremely high corruption that ranks highest of any state. Municipalities make corruption. Checks and balances son!
TX has the most counties. GA comes in 2nd.
@@apexone5502 correct.
Born and raised in Georgia and couldn't wait to get back after retiring from WDW after 40 years and the daily barrage of traffic! Nestled in a pine forest I now rest near Swainsboro and it isn't so bad! Wonderful place to eat there, The Coleman House! Now, I''m going back to hear the wind in the pines instead of thousands of cars chasing a look at Mickey!
Do you know Amy Carter?
Even tho it's not a small town, Albany needs a spot on here
Born and raised there 💯

Went to college there... have not been there in a hot minute but don't know why you would want to put Albany on the list... it's a college town... thought all college towns would be a good place to live.
@@rexanderson5458 Oh and Little Richard from Macon don't forget Little Richard.
@@rexanderson5458 President Wilson was from right out side of Augusta
I’m very familiar with all the bottom 5
SARDIS is horrible lmao
GIRARD IS EXTRA SUPER HORRIBLE
I stayed in Screven County close to both lmao, and we always went to Hiltonia
Hiltonia is the country ghetto

Ya moma bitch.
I swear I never heard of all this town I live here in Georgia 😂😂
What’s funny is bainbridge ga should be on this list, live there and hate but love it. Since Hurricane Micheal my family is very poor, so is the town
Alston, and Uvalda are really crappy towns also. But that's every state, there are towns like that everywhere. Great video. I live in Vidalia.
You think these are small and bad you should look up my small town called folkston Georgia and have a good laugh........ seriously I'll wait 🤣🤣🤣
You made me chuckle with this.
You need to add Elberton, GA!
Jane Doediddly haha never been but I’m not that far from it
That's where the Georgia Guidestones are.
Not before Hartwell..............I was born and raised there. It is one of the worst little "holes" in Georgia. The best part of that little S%^$hole is seeing it in the rearview mirror!!!
From Hartwell, moved to Jefferson.
I’ve lived in Georgia my whole life and only heard of some of those towns. And I can list a couple of towns that should be on that list one is Gainesville. It might be big and it has areas that are nice but it has a lot of run down areas
Lol I live in lula ga and dread going into Gainesville, its a shithole.
There's a gunstore there in Gainesville that I always buy my guns from. Best prices but yeah the area looks a little run down not as bad as some places I seen though
And the cops in gainesville are really stringent on checking for speeders
Nobody :
Not even the Llama watching TV beside me :
Me : waiting for someone to say my town just so I can roast them
Quitman used to be a great little small town, I grew in Dixie which is brooks county. But after about 1995 it started going down hill
Americus turned to junk too. White flight out of the city.
What you got against places out in the sticks?
Probably cause it's lacking in wifi connections and cell phone towers :D
Georgia Music that’s the same thing I was thinking. who the hell wants to live in the city, all though I’m somewhat South metro Atlanta it wasn’t like it is today when I moved here. it’s just building up so fast that now I either want to move further south, or north like blue ridge. these small towns don’t sound bad. They just don’t have anything out there so as long as you have a job you’re OK.
Listen. These aren't great place.
Yeah, I'm I guess in the sticks! 🤣
@@DSpeir-pi6tm we have all! Go to the parking lot of one of our store they will let you have it free!
I was like all squeee! when I heard the Walking Dead refs, but then I got super depressed at how bad life must be there. Seriously though, if u look at upstate ny with hellish winters that last forever, huge potholes that never get fixed, high property/state taxes, high cost of living and high unemployment rates, and high crime (opioid capital), these Georgia towns don't seem so bad, and the weathers nice.
n.y got the opioid addicts but the north ga mtns is loaded with methheads and cooks! i know i live there!
My father who is playing at a better looking truck then the sheriff equipment Georgia therefore he gave him a ticket
Anthony Hawk do you mean in Quitman? Any Georgian worth his salt knows not to speed thru that town. They, Warwick (Ga 300 near Albany) & Twiggs county on I-16 do not play when it comes to tickets.
Denise Herud i
THE WEATHER IS HORRIBLE
Lol I'm jumping on the "you forgot..." bandwagon, you forgot Douglas.
And the local surrounding area, Ambrose
Born & Raised in Georgia. Woodbury is just 10 minutes from my house. They film a lot of the Walking Dead here in Upson County as well. Woodbury is just a country kinda place to live. Georgia is Home.
Michele Howington Upson county as well👍🏼
Upson County is not cheap to live in. They keep going up on taxes and No decent industry around
I’m a Southerner from South Carolina who moved to Georgia over 20 years ago. I met some of the finest people in Georgia. Two years ago I returned to South Carolina to be close to family. I regret moving back; the difference in people between the two former Confederate States is marked. People are much more down to earth in Georgia; they are just good people. I was in Statesboro Georgia by the way.
Michael Turnage dumb hick
Where did you film the drone footage?? Just curious. Beautiful mountains.
Watching this and literally 3.8 miles from the Collins location. It's really not a bad town. High unemployment per capital but also has a high elderly and senior citizen rate. Schools are actually comparable to national average.
I went to school in south Ga and many towns in that region look just like these. Cotton, peanuts and hog farms.
You're not lying. Whole family from SW Ga.
Three best things in the world!
Great job. Good content. Little fluff. Suggestion: which counties have the most active dirt roads. My wife and I travel around Georgia fairly often. We often see small homes, mobile homes, barns on dirt roads. Thanks for your videos!
10) Fort Valley, 9) Montezuma, 8) Hilltop, 7) Woodbury, 6) Quitman, 5) Collins, 4) Hiltonia, 3) Swainsboro, 2) Girard, 1) Sardis.

Mcbean is a community not a city

What would Georgia be without Atlanta? Alabama.
