I have this figure and I love it. the color is not to my worry, but spot is quite right about the sliding crest and the back spikes popping off relentlessly. spot is also right about the force required to place an inner mouth in the Queen's mouth but I find that the smaller one stays quite secure. there is this one part that that stand grasps perfectly, which spot said nothing about
I really love the Queen, but I wish Neca sculpted her with her back arched forward more, kinda croutched like a gargoyle, so she could stand better and fix her center of gravity Although it almost looks like Neca made the abdomen too long too
I'm glad I took this action figure, but I was a little unlucky. All the leg joints were so loose that even with the stand she was not possible standing. Both the two mouths do not fit well and I never managed to put them. The wings on the back come off continuously. The big left arm comes off easily. I solved it by using transparent cyanocrate glue, but now my legs are stuck, the positive after putting glue on legs and knees is that she stands up without a stand.
Yeah the paint on this Queen is really good Aine, have you also seen the Alien Resurrection Version of the Queen too? did a review of that one too if you wanted to check it out
Love your reviews my friend! I have a question, is there a Neca stamp on the bottom of her foot or anywhere else? I bought a queen recently from Toyzany and i can't tell if its bootleg or not. Mine has no neca stamp anywhere and is really high quality all the way around.
Hi, try looking underneath the rubbery section of the crown, however, I got a bootleg one and it also has the Neca stamp..... My bootleg(a very good one, I have to say) came with no box, no short tongue and as far as I can tell, the paint on mine is a bit less glossy than the original. Hope it helps somehow.

I am planning to buy the queen ASAP, before they are totally sold out because NECA discontinued all Alien figures. NECA should have also produced the Alien Queen from the AVP movie with the same feet of the AVP Xenomorph Warrior.
Man... Nowadays, it's •SO damned hard• to find any of these Aliens figs. . . At least for a reasonable priceーwhich people tend to go kinda' crazy with when selling them (since you can •pretty much ONLY• find any of them online… 😮💨). . . As much as I love the Alien line[s?], I'm not paying $150+ for a used, •often loose• (…gross… 🤢), and even sometimes, missing a piece or two (…even grosser! 🤮) Xenomorph Queen, however badass she may be. . . But…❗ If I had a more... "disposable income," I'd •totally• snatch me one! …Along with a Ripley (à la Aliens, of course 😉), and I'd display them on their own shelf, with Ripley riding on Her Highness's back xD …Maybe even holding onto one of the Queen's li'l spikesーassuming that I could uh… hair-dryer her hand open wide enough without damaging anything hehe …And I wanted to add that the way Neca •uncharacteristically• fudged this poor gal's •ridiculous-looking• sliding headpiece is probably the one thing that's really kept me from like, hardcore pursuing this fig ‐.‐ It's a damned shame, and it's •absolutely SO unlike• Neca to pull something •so lazy• and, frankly, •UGLY• on their most devoted fans… =/ Thankfully, I'm more of a Predator and TMNT series collector lol But still, my Xenomorph drones are obviously feeling •just a bit• wistful and arbitrary. . . Just received mine in the mail from BBTS. I’m looking at it they the window, did anyone else get theirs with white marks on the queens dome???? This is highly disappointing, didn’t wanna open it until I’m sure if it can be wiped off or if it’s a defect???? Pls HELP
