Of all his timeless gems, this one is and has been my favorite. Pure poetry. Almost an omniprescence of sorts. I've come back to this song literally thousands of times. It occured to me tonight, while in quite an emotional state, that I don't think I've visited it since the god himself moved on. Tonight was the first night I finally came back. Tonight was also the first time I cried to this song, and also the first time I truly felt the pain of losing a real legend in the music scene. I think I finally felt his pain for a split second and it was a very profound moment for me. Reading all of these appreciations and memorials of him broke me down and the realization that this man is no longer going to create anymore beautiful vibrations finally set in. As a very passionate music lover in every way, this hurt my heart a little bit. It opened me up. Poured various emotions out. And I think I'm better now. Sorry to ramble like this, I don't even comment on UA-cam videos. I always read and read and read. But the impact I had at this specific moment was enough for me that I had to out it out there. I'm sure someone will read it and hopefully can relate. Always remember to smile, always remember that there is at least one other human out there that cares about you and always remember that everything will be okay in the end. I promise. Rest in peace Malcolm, you're in a way better place now. A place you belong, with the rest of the beautiful people. Love to all.

This song is so incredible, I found this at a pivotal point in my life I feel it was a catalyst to make me realise that I was living a directionless life. Really can't praise this song more highly or this album which I believe is his best.
Dude he’s so beautiful in the way he expresses his thought he’s just sitting there thinking these things and man it resonates with all of us on that level. RIP MAC
I remember copping this album during my first year of high school. Truly changed me for life, thank you for giving a piece of you Mac. I don’t know where i would be without your music.
Sad that we’ll never get anything new from Mac but so grateful that we have so many great songs to go back and listen to, keeping his amazing spirit alive! RIP Mac 🙌🏼💓🙏🏼
I think the sad part is no one will never know and understand how much time Mac Miller put into his music how much he really appreciated his craft and appreciated the people around him. He really made a big impact on this world that No are the artist will ever do what he did how he was so, artistic very creative and very well known in the hip-hop community very respective to others rip Mac miller 💙🕊️
Watching Movies with the Sound Off and Faces are really the Mac Miller sound that I go for. I liked K.I.D.S. when it came out and I was 14 or 15 (maybe younger?), but when Blue Slide Park dropped I stopped listening to Mac's music. Then he drops shit like this?! Fuckin' incredible. This song, particularly, got me back into Mac Miller. I Am Who Am (Killin' Time) is a fucking masterpiece.
Blue Slide Park really wasn't that bad. I've just always seen it as a very toned down kids. It's in a way where he started experimenting with his music instead of keeping it the same.
brokenbonds95 And then to follow this up with Faces further solidified Mac Miller as a truly great MC. No more of the college/frat party music. He shed that image and really morphed into something incredible.
Psych 20 Blue Slide Park wasn't my style, personally. Most people that I know who really fuck with BSP, Best Day Ever, etc. don't like anything Mac's put out from Macadelic to his present work. It's all prior to Macadelic that a lot of people seem to like who are more fond of that sound.
Mac is a genius! No critics will understand what he's talking about because he's talking about metaphysics. There is so much hidden meaning in this album that normal people will never understand.
Joecarelesss You have to find out for you self man. He talks about people worrying about whats around them rather than themselves. If you want to understand reflect on yourself and eliminate any preconceived egos
It's crazy to miss someone you never met. And yet... I'm always sad when an artist I love passes away of course. But for Mac it was different, it affected me deeper than that and more than I would have thought. Crazy. I hope you're in a better place dude.
Old mac fans are mad that they can't relate to his music anymore so he's trash to them. I like this transition in Mac's style. He's way more lyrical and his songs have substance. Artist have to progress too. How would it look if mac was still rapping like a High Schooler at 25?
Honestly I don't believe in a new or old mac mac is mac all of these ppl sayin old mac is better or new mac is better don't know what they are talkin about cuz non of them know him I don't either but u can't listen to 1 song be like I this guy but when he makes a song with a different flow hate him if you don't like a certain flow on a song then don't listen to it :)
***** 100% agree man. Personally I stopped listening to him after macadelic, I just couldn't relate to his music anymore even his old stuff now, so I fell of the Mac train since then and haven't heard his new stuff. But I might give them a listen just to see where he's at. Every artist goes through it man. Some guys don't change their lyrical flow and perspectives too much and keep it real their whole careers but when you're in the spotlight like Mac is where power, fame, money, and sex are so idolized, it's almost inevitable that everything about you including your perspectives and beliefs will change with it :p I think that's where you get different opinions from listeners when rappers go through that transitional stage as to personal preference, but regardless of whether you like a dude's new stuff or not it's still dope to see basically a timeline of a guy going through different experiences. Looking back to kids and the high life, to where he's at now its pretty much Mac's life story man in music form.
I found your music when i was still very young. about 14 years old. I'm now 21 and i feel like ive aged with you. used to be just a dumb silly kid who took drugs, developed into a troubled addict, and then finally found the help he needed. I love you brother. Im sorry the ariana thing hurt you this much. She wasn't worth it though dawg as im sure you know, now. Rest easy to one of the greatest lyricists/artists/people this world has ever seen. Even now that you're gone, they'll never truly understand your greatness...
This isn't music this man made art it is far above what music could be its beautiful its just a teir above what music meant that year this man was a legend before his time and will be the GOAT until the end of time

This album made me a fan. Before I didn't give his music a chance. This album opened up my eyez
yeah bsp was his only bad project. kind of shitty it was his debut too
Clarity really got me hooked. After he did WMWTSO, it was a wrap. I can't stop listening to Faces.
macadelic was what got me on his shit

codytherb I feel like his old shit got me hooked because we're like the same age and I understood it. Now u still bump his shit because it's even better.
With every passing day I miss Mac more. But but but. I'm learning his soul thru his music. And wow. Skill and talents thru the atmosphere. Whoa. Click it. Mac is legit.
Rest easy, thank you for all of the years. I'm gonna miss you
Nikki's Lyrics...Its a gift, our time to be alive, no earthly vehicle can contain this drive.
Thank you Mac, for the inspiring and great music of yours. Rest in heaven.
Man Mac gave so much of himself to the world and I’ll be forever grateful...
When my son was two months old I would play this song and it would relax him so much that he would fall asleep quick! Lol love you Mac Miller!
Damn Bro. Still can't believe your gone. You'll never be forgotten. Especially when it's time to jam out. Prayers and thoughts always will be with me for all our lost too soon family. Peace And Love Yall
Certain artist will leave pieces of art before they pass.. Hip hop WILL remember him....
Thank you Mac Miller
For sure homie ... i will make sure to pass on macs music and celebration of his life onto my future kids n their friends. Ill be the equivalent of that hippie dad talkin bout the good ol days of 'real music' (lol)
@@cavemanlovesmoke4394Nice lol
I come back to this song often . He says so much . He was truly one of a kind R.I.P see you at the finish line
This song is so incredible, I found this at a pivotal point in my life I feel it was a catalyst to make me realise that I was living a directionless life. Really can't praise this song more highly or this album which I believe is his best.
There must be other people still watching movies with the sound off, GOAT!
Jonathan Simmons Most Definitely
For sure
2018, still my favorite rapper. Period.
too me
2019 still my favorite. R.I.P. #MacMiller #goat
Dude he’s so beautiful in the way he expresses his thought he’s just sitting there thinking these things and man it resonates with all of us on that level. RIP MAC
For real. He just wrote down perfectly what he was thinking at the time and he connected with all of us. A genius ahead all, love you and rest Mac
Watching Movies With The Sound Off is soooooo fucking good. I'm glad Mac finally got that pressed on vinyl before he died. At least we got that.
I remember copping this album during my first year of high school. Truly changed me for life, thank you for giving a piece of you Mac. I don’t know where i would be without your music.
One Of My Favorite Songs From Mac Miller, Rest In Peace. 🙏🏼🌹
This is the song I always keep coming back to. Just Mac in his prime
Sad that we’ll never get anything new from Mac but so grateful that we have so many great songs to go back and listen to, keeping his amazing spirit alive! RIP Mac 🙌🏼💓🙏🏼
"God loves me, what if He does, what does it mean?"
"Yahweh put the world in my hand, I'm giving it back"
This verses have stuck with me for years
Everyone here hurting the same! Rip Mac 💜
Hope all is well!
His music can't be compared. It means so much to so many people. No matter what mood I'm in he fixes it.
Remember hearing this in middleschool. Mac miller impacted alot of people, in a postive way. Its sad seeing him gone
Same exact story here. This album made me a fan again
brokenbonds95
And then to follow this up with Faces further solidified Mac Miller as a truly great MC.
No more of the college/frat party music. He shed that image and really morphed into something incredible.
Psych 20
Blue Slide Park wasn't my style, personally.
Most people that I know who really fuck with BSP, Best Day Ever, etc. don't like anything Mac's put out from Macadelic to his present work. It's all prior to Macadelic that a lot of people seem to like who are more fond of that sound.
What do you think of TDF?
Still my favorite song 3 years later...
Blessed that i am here for thissss
Not many people hear this the way you do
This is just pure fire ... Rest easy Mac, we miss you and the weather is ok. 👌
Mac is a genius! No critics will understand what he's talking about because he's talking about metaphysics. There is so much hidden meaning in this album that normal people will never understand.
please elaborate and enlight us
Joecarelesss You have to find out for you self man. He talks about people worrying about whats around them rather than themselves. If you want to understand reflect on yourself and eliminate any preconceived egos
I listened to this song the first time tripping on acid and it was the most beautiful thing I'd ever heard.
RIP Malcolm 💔
its his finest song imo, shows how far he came from being a party rapper. so young so full of potential, such a shame.
Blind.
Same :(
Llll me no n me.
Oh
@sa!nts_n_s!nners ! she said tripping not shooting dope...
RIP MAC thank you for the memories through middle school
Loved this song in highschool. RIP Mac, Rest Easy my Brother.
Probably one of his best songs in my opinion, very underrated
+MusicMaster The Star Room, Rain (Vinny Stapes as well), and watching horror movies all pretty dope songs.
It's crazy to miss someone you never met. And yet... I'm always sad when an artist I love passes away of course. But for Mac it was different, it affected me deeper than that and more than I would have thought. Crazy. I hope you're in a better place dude.
"The mind is like religion, can't agree on who's its savior."- Mac genius
Old mac fans are mad that they can't relate to his music anymore so he's trash to them. I like this transition in Mac's style. He's way more lyrical and his songs have substance. Artist have to progress too. How would it look if mac was still rapping like a High Schooler at 25?
Were you not an old mac fan? Cause I was and I think the new Mac Miller is hella dope.
Just different tastes. I just found him yesterday and I don't like this as much. Trying to stay more positive in life.
He would be Chris Webby.
Happy birthday Yahweh I'm glad this man got this song out he is giving back to so many. I hope God's blessing you Mac.
I feel like this beat is the angels singing with him in the background from heaven
This sing blows me away and all I say is "WOW" everytime I hear. Rip brother
Its 2019, and i still cry... i miss you brother...
Mac was brother???
Same here big man
I found your music when i was still very young. about 14 years old.
Hearing him speak about life being precious breaks my heart 💔 RIP Mac ❤️
This isn't music this man made art it is far above what music could be its beautiful its just a teir above what music meant that year this man was a legend before his time and will be the GOAT until the end of time
Mac Miller is on Another Level !! Rest Easy Mac ...
just found out he passed, rip Mac, you're in a better place now
there will never ever ever be another mac miller
That’s true I hope people learn from his style he was good at what he did
This man is an absolute true lyrical legend. Every line is constructed and delivered so well.
👍👍👍
