Last Sunday, November 1st, I flew on a Dreamliner with United Airlines, back to US from Buenos Aires, Argentina and it was amazing! Very smooth and comfortable. Great experience! I was amazed at the humongous size of the wings! Woow! awesome experience!
I watched the cocpit video and I watched the flight attitude display and when he left the ground he had it up to about 60 degrees right after he left the ground and on a couple of turns he had it at about 75 to 80 degrees that's one hell of a bank and had the speed set at 140 knots which is mighty slow for a plane that size and he was working his butt off to keep it at the right attitude flying that slow....Randy Neville is a hell of a pilot..the computers were trying to add power all the time and he'd keep pulling them back to keep the plane slow and under 140 knots...
When I first flew on the Boeing 787-8 while in an intense storm, we barely felt any turbulence. It's quiet and smooth overall, and it feels like it's going faster than flying in a 757.
first I flew with 787 was 3 months ago to Ethiopia and man what a feeling to sit there and just enjoy the ride and the quite cabin. awesome, hope to fly in the 787-9 this time
Hats off the camera crew and pilots! Could it be possible for yall to release the cockpit footage while performing the flight and could the next step be performing with pax onboard?
I read so many comments on the Paris Air Show video from armchair "experts" telling everyone that it was a stripped down Dreamliner with no seats, restrooms, insulation, etc. They said that a real one could never do any of these maneuvers. They were wrong!
I thought pilot said all maneuvers were within the normal flight envelope, what about that initial climb after lift off? Looked like a heck of an angle. KDM
In a previous video someone stated the climbing angle was only 30 degrees. I'm assuming they were inside when this happened and hit they're head at the 30 degree mark then passed out.
I flew on the 787 for the first time last week (Air Canada, Toronto - Tel Aviv). Beautiful quiet plane with space-age technology. But the economy cabin is a little tight. The 767/777 are more comfortable as far as legroom and seat width.
+Dave Glo that's should be due to the arrangement of the carrier. I had two times flights by ANA, the leg room is quite good. The UA is certainly not a pleasant experience.
i agree the 787 is more quiet than a commuter jet the thing that stands out is the RAT is usually deployed on the test flights and living near the final approach at CHS u hear a soft jet soud and a sound like a cessna flying with it wish every plane was that quiet
One more amazing Dreamliner. She's beautiful looks smooth takeoff smooth landing. The greater side of humans. Gods gifts when put to the correct and wonderful use.
The only intersting datas here, are the weight & balance , especially the TOW and the thrust . Any airliner that can take off at MTOW 150 T , for example , will weight easily 75 Tons with no load and just enough fuel for one hour flight time . Then with the same full thrust ( 33 Tons thrust ), it behaves like a fighter , and can do very unusual things that I won't comment. I experienced this myself ,long time ago, each time flying Boeing 707 back from overhaul in Stanted .
desde la cabina se observa en la pantalla HUD como esta inclinado el aeronave y que serca del suelo,es de verdad una prueba muy importante para certificar ,son maniobras de mucha exigencia para los piltoos testeando condiciones extremas.felicitaciones
2:58 "The main objective is to show the plane of, to let the public see the airplane" Sorry Boeing, you missed it, totally. The 787 left Paris Air Show on Friday, so normal visitors could not admire it during the general public days. I heard Kids telling to their parents "Look this is the 787, she'll be doing like on UA-cam video". I bet disappointment was great for them.
Beautifull plane, but they forgot the people in the economic class, it is a forgetable way to fly, I will never on this machine again, they didn´t think about the passangers. avoid it1
0:52 and 2:17 I love how it is like they are introducing the cast to a movie!
And the flying display was amazing!

When you are passionate about your work, it shows. I wondered why the video thumbnail was of a person rather than an aircraft; now I know.

I really love what commercial avaiation looks like today!! The 777, the 787 Dreamliner, the A380!!
@Boeing please tell us how many degrees you pulled the plane up on take off! Please!!

+Specter0420 an counter example is like the recent VW TDI gate which someone claim it to be clean and efficient but cheat in customer environment.
he just said that it had all the seats and other stuff , didnt you here that part?

+Kenneth Masters It is all in the camera angles.
+Kenneth Masters I don't think there's a pitch limitation apart from the G factor , a windshear escape maneuver is nearly the same angle
I'll be flying on this baby on the 6th August. Can't wait.👍.
What a gorgeous bird!! Impressive display.
I love this plane! I can't wait till the 777X comes out maybe one day I can work with this aircraft.

Incredible, wanderful recording. It's amazing the machine thrust, and as it begins to climb. Thanks for uploading Boeing...

What a sporty commercial aircraft!
So this is what carbon fiber can do when it is applied to huge airplanes.

Now we can safely dodge tiny planes illegally flying.
