Whew! Thank you Karamo. We all went through something watching these Ladies mend and start anew. If the Mom is reading this, I see that you are a truly sweet Lady who faces adversity and built a layer around protecting your younger self. Let that go! Embrace love. You are Blessed with successful children who gave you grandchildren. Some people don't and will never be Blessed like that. I love how you melted in your one on one with Karamo and showed your vulnerability. That is your superpower and your vulnerability healed your Daughter in less than 5 minutes. Yo the Daughter, God Bless You and all that you have endured and fighting for. I'm in your age group and all I know is sometimes a hug or kiss from my Momma is all I need to get back out here in these streets and fight for what's mine. I'm a firm believer in giving people grace and space. It is clear that the mother has lots of unhealthy learned behaviors, that became normal to her. She can't unlearn all of those traits in a one hour sitting. The daughter is giving her mother a second chance. She could change with guidance. Karmo, you are changing lives. One show at a time. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

This is crazy and outta hands fr I went thro the same with my mom and I talked to her for her to understand me and she cried and understood everything where I was coming from I went through around when I was 12 to 23 years old
She a HORRIBLE mother. Like why is she like that????? Girl wash your hands with your mother. She’s toxic ! AND put her hands on your daughter !??? Nawww I would’ve been done.
Just look at the mom’s facial expressions during the last segment. I’ve experienced this. Mom’s only crying and getting emotional because she being forced to deal with things that she doesn’t want to deal with and doesn’t care about. The looking up when she apologized…the rolling her eyes when her daughter said that she’s never apologized before…these are clear indicators that mom doesn’t care and is probably never going to care.
Such an evil ass woman! She's gonna die alone and lonely, just rotting. Not a sole will help her when she's old and needs help because of how she acts. I feel so bad for the daughter and i hope she doesn't continue this trauma for another generation. I can't imagine how hard it is to deal with a "mother" like this.
Karamo you are an amazing Human being!!! my eyes are teary right now as I see myself and my relationship with my mom through those. I really hope her mom works on herself. I can't watch those episodes about mom and child especially daughter issue without crying and there's more mother and daughter's issue outside than I could imagine and realize it's not only me.
even with my struggles growing up i truly appreciate having a mom who never put a man before us never called us the b word never did drugs smh i can go on i feel sorry for ppl who have to grow up with parents like this
This made me cry because it sounds like me and my mother.. she wants me to be a strong independent woman and I still want to be that little girl and get that attention and emotional connection with her.. They will make it and get better, honestly them having boundaries and space will definitely make the relationship better
You want/need that from your mother but who is giving that to her because she likely needs it also. You are absolutely right to want that from your mom but single mothers become numb after a while through their selflessness of raising kids sadly that is hard to overcome. Not saying you or anyone doesn't care because we would die for our mothers in a hearbeat for sure but they still need to feel vulnerable, feminine, and submissive time to time.
Whew Jesus!! I thank you sooooo much for giving me a Mom that you knew would have gone to bat for me if i EVER came home telling her even a piece of what Ashley experienced!...This was hard to watch and unfortunately, her behavior is not going to change smh...Ashley i pray you get that car sooner than later...you dont deserve any of that disrespect 😢😊
This mother is narcissistic and completely disgusting. I’m so annoyed watching this interview as I deal with this to a certain extent with my own mom. She feels as if she can do and say whatever she pleases and it’s not supposed to be acknowledged or brought up in order to be held accountable for. That’s an issue, it’s toxic & nobody can deal with you like that
The mother is absolutelyevil. Did anyone see at the 14:00 mark when Karamo asked when she was crying, and she said because the mother never said sorry before and the mother rolled her eyes.... Girl leave your mother right where she stands and go heal. Every relationship isn't meant to be fixed..
I'd say leave her if need be. I believe the mother was triggered because for once in the mom life by talking to Karamo it was about her and someone cared to understand her then the daughter comes back on stage with energy of, "mom I"m hurting I need you". Not saying the daughter is wrong though not at all, she didn't have a healthy mother figure most her life so it's only natural. Single motherhood is a selfless job and it's a lot of mothers that don't have someone to actually look after them emotionally damn near up until the day they die. Again not saying she shouldn't ditch her mother but I believe she should learn to forgive her.
no matter how mad i get mad at my kids i would NEVER in my life talk to them like that. this is ridiculous. it might never affected her but it affects her so she should take that in consideration and not just how it made her feel.
Karamo has the calm of 100 Buddhist monks. No matter how outrageous his guests get, he remains completely serene. I don’t know how he does it. I thought maybe the mom was a narcissist. Turns out she’s full of hurt, frustration, stress, and lashes out. Hurt people hurt people. I don’t think I could trust her. She is willing to go as low as possible to hurt her own child. She does need counseling. Not to mention she believes this is normal behavior. Ma’am I’ve never called my daughter a B word.
Yeah Karamo broke her down like no other with just "understanding" her feelings. When that mom said sorry in this video it was the version of her that use to be vulnerable, probably the version of her after the first time her mom called her a b word too. That mom probably been just going through the motions ever since that day and it must of been a hell of a shock for Karamo to say, "When do they ask you how you're feeling?".

Your mother is a evil demon. Don't have them babies around her anymore either. Go be great and leave her in the dust.
Thank you Karamo for breaking the ice and mending the hearts between this mother and daughter relationship. I have a very similar story with my mother. She mentally and abused me daily as a child, while my Dad was working. I confronted her as an adult, he replied to me. "You need to get over it". I feel sorry for her, having such a cold heart towards me and I'm the one who takes care of her the most. My oldest sister Angela is the one she admired and loved all her life does nothing for her, and have not seen my mother more than eleven years. Now my mom is on a bed of affliction. You will reap what you sow. I'm a servant of God, the office of a Prophetess no one knows the cost of the oil, one has to endure 😢 in ministry or on this journey 🙏. Continued blessings to you Karamo and keep mending hearts. Prophetess Rosie Finley

This mother must hate herself sooo much for acting like that! But she will never ever tell anyone that she has problems with herself and what she did and because of that the daughter has to live her life without hoping her mother will be there for her someday or being g proud of her. She shall leave her BUT then she also should never ever let her own kids be with her or ask her for any kind of help again!

Ashley, you are beautiful. You are strong and you are breaking a toxic cycle. I commend you for that and you can handle it. It seems like you may have come from generational toxicity. I can tell that your mother does love you, however she is damaged. She appears tough on the outside, but that is just an exterior. She is a broken and weak. Ain't No Wayyyy In Hell That I'm EVERRRR Gone Talk To My Daughter That WAY 😔😔 My Daughter Is Only 10 Months.. I Can Only Treat And Raise Her The Way My Mother RAISED ME. I WILL NEVER TELL MY ONLY CHILD THAT SHE IS DEAD TO ME.. EVER. 💯💯💯
Neverrrrr 😳💯
@@ashleyj7011 Of Course.. I'm Already A Great Mother.. But I Want My Daughter To Grow And Grow And Learn About These Things
We'll see in 21 years!😂
Exactly but that’s how she was also raised. Generational curses are real!
@@jahneastanfield2662 Don't Worry Bout Me.. Worry Bout Yours Thank U. 💯
I wish you both a healing and loving future!
Grace and space uhm how about reassurance and GOD and getting baptized
@@Logantaliaferro She may not be a religious person. Sometimes just meeting people where they are without judgement can go a long way.
Nah, she needs therapy. This momma trippin
Her mother is a trash bag😢😢😢😢 please move on and leave her in the past.

EVERY KIDS DESERVES A PARENT BUT NOT A EVERY PARENT DESERVES A KID!!!
I think that this is one of the realest episodes he had by far. I feel bad for Ashley her mom is cray cray.
Sometimes u just gotta accept the mess for what it is and keep it pushing. Love and respect from a distance.
Every few days I get tipsy and stumble across an episode of Karamo then call my mom crying about how grateful I am lol
Me too! 😭 I get so sad ever. Damn. Time. I’m blessed to have the mother I have. I wish everyone had the same.
@@TeeCup22Amen sista Amen 🙏😭😭😭
This is why I love Karamo. You just have a way of getting to the heart.
Ashley, break that generational curse and move on. If your mother truly wanted to do better, it wouldn’t have taken all of this. She meant everything she said the first time. Cut that cord and move on. ✂️💛. It’s not easy, but you’ll be better off, because she’s not going to change.
This is crazy and outta hands fr I went thro the same with my mom and I talked to her for her to understand me and she cried and understood everything where I was coming from I went through around when I was 12 to 23 years old
She would have gotten choked out talking to me like that lol. I doubt this reconciliation will last, but I wish Ashley all the best.

I’ve never seen such evil behavior coming from a MOTHER. This is truly heartbreaking.
She a HORRIBLE mother. Like why is she like that????? Girl wash your hands with your mother. She’s toxic ! AND put her hands on your daughter !??? Nawww I would’ve been done.
FACTS!!!!! FACTS!!!! FACTS!!!!!
Mom is more toxic than a septic tank. She said more than once I DONT LOVE YOU.
The mother is lucky to have such a loving and forgiving daughter ❤
I adore Karamo For His patience...omg ..IT Breaks my Heart to See this..his love for people is priceless..
Karamo we NEED an update later on this please!
yes, i’m so invested 😢
They probably fell off again from her Body language, I don't believe every one bit that she's saying
Karamo handled this poor troubled mother SOOOOOOO beautifully. This was a great episode. He is wonderful.
Why do some Mothers have to be narcissistic to their own Child.. like its really sad how they don't realize themself how bad mothers can be :(
Not just any child though.. it’s usually the daughters they treat like that. I believe jealousy plays a huge role here
Because they ar broken miserable inside and this is what the project this on to their children
Girl leave this women who calls herself your Mother honestly you better off without her
I have watched and watched and watched this man’s shows religiously for months-and he ALWAYS amazes me with his loving advice. He’s awesome.
Chileeeeeee!!!! When she said she choked slammed her kid... We would've been tussling like we didnt know each other!!
even with my struggles growing up i truly appreciate having a mom who never put a man before us never called us the b word never did drugs smh i can go on i feel sorry for ppl who have to grow up with parents like this
This made me cry because it sounds like me and my mother.. she wants me to be a strong independent woman and I still want to be that little girl and get that attention and emotional connection with her..
They will make it and get better, honestly them having boundaries and space will definitely make the relationship better
You not alone 💔 I understand 💯🙏💔
That’s an issue, it’s toxic & nobody can deal with you like that
That is 100% my mom it’s anxiety you still have to deal with even though and it never goes away
This ‼️‼️ I’m dealing with the same
The mother is absolutelyevil.
I am so very grateful for my late mom who treated me with so much love and care. ❤
Baaaby you said a mouth full 🥰🥰grateful
Still no excuse
I THANK THE GOOD LORD MY MOM WAS A WONDERFUL MOTHER.....YOU HAVE A BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER AND LOOK HOW YOU TREATS HER..THIS IS SO SAD ON MANY LEVELS....WHEN SHE TOLD HER YOUR DEAD TO ME...I CRIED AND SHE'S NOT MY MOTHER...SEEK GOD'S GUIDANCE YOUNG LADY YOUR GOING TO BE FINE❤❤
I ❤ Karamo. When he has these mother daughter issues. He is so spot on. But heaven forbid you throw a man in the mix...
Karamo is really great at his job! He is always on point and knows how to calm any situation.
Ashley sweetie, PLEASE do like your egg donor asked of you and leave the past in the past (HER.) Heal from all that generational trauma she put on you, love up on your babies and live your best life.
Wow Karamo, this episode hit deep. You are a miracle worker, and the way you broke through the mother, even though she was as hard as a rock. Wow.
Karamo out here doing the Lord work! God bless this man!! ❤
Brother Karamo out here doing good for the community!
I absolutely could not. My temper would not allow my mother to talk to me that way. The way we would have been rumbling and tumbling on that set!!! I wish I could just give Ashley a hug, whew!
Sometimes you have to love from afar. Toxicity will kill you.
This man is doing a great service ! God bless his gift ❤
I was 35 when I confronted my mother for letting men behave the same way. I was also told to get over it. But eventually my mom genuinely apologized. We are great 11 yrs later
Karamo, you're what TV needs and been missing 👏🏾👏🏾
Ashley, you are beautiful. You are strong and you are breaking a toxic cycle. I commend you for that and you can handle it. It seems like you may have come from generational toxicity. I can tell that your mother does love you, however she is damaged. She appears tough on the outside, but that is just an exterior. She is a broken and weak. She is not strong enough to do what you are doing by breaking the cycle. It's totally your decision on how you want to maneuver that relationship. I just want to say keep going. You are strong you are compassionate and you deserve the best.
MY MOTHER NEVER CALLED HER CHILDREN, MOTHER, GRANDMOTHER, GREAT GRANDMOTHER ETC. ETC. ETC. A BITCH OR ANY OTHER CURSE WORD OMG BEYOND DISGUSTING & RIDICULOUS!!!
This is why I love his show.. this just brought tears to my eyes!
Mom talking about the past but mom you dwelling in the past by not saying sorry to your daughter.
I have so much empathy for both mothers. I love karamo’s work fr.
My mom has NEVER CALLED ME THAT OR TREATED ME LIKE THIS!!! crazy!
I couldn’t imagine having a mother like this. My God 😭
Ashley is a beautiful, young woman inside and outside.❤
This man deserves an award!!!! If they ever cancel this show, it will be completely unjust
Why did she roll her eyes when she was crying saying she never told me sorry. That mom is full of it
Mom was never shown love. Exactly why she is the way she is. Her daughter is beautiful and smart and being a good mother providing! I truly think she is jealous of her daughter and the way she came out.
I know a lady that talk to her daughter just like she did got all in her face, blaming her daughter for everything, made her daughter apologize to her when she was the one in the wrong, always talked bad about her daughter, always called her daughter evil demon child. The daughter doesnt fool with her til this day.
