アリプロの中で一番好きな曲
はじめて聴いた時の衝撃が忘れられない
初めて聴いてから10年以上が過ぎ、２番の歌詞ラストの意味がわかり、構成力に鳥肌が立った。
この歌がとても綺麗で胸が騒いだ
@tumiki49 同性愛、というのかおそらくベースになったと思われるギリシャ神話のあの話ではその相手が自分自身の影であったから、厳密に言うと同性愛ではないと思われます。また、ナルキソスには双子の妹がいたとも言われていて、女性では唯一ナルキソスが愛したとも言われてるそうです。その妹の目線から書いた歌とも取れます。わたしはこの、ドロドロした感情の吹き溜まりを淡々と歌うところが好きですが。

If you look up the story of Narcissus, this song is pretty much Echo singing about Narcissus with a bit of a twist. Echo fell in love with Narcissus but he rejected her and fell in love with himself, staring into the mirror till he died.. Ali Project added a few changes to the story but its the same concept... and since Echo and Narcissus were both gods they technically were siblings.

The song is composed very nice.. one of my favs from Ali Project. It goes with the CLAMP story but it ALSO connects with the old myth of Narcissus and Echo. The lyrics have too many references to the old poem/story for anyone to deny she's singing the part of Echo mourning over Narcissus even after his death.

The lyrics are about the First crush of a girl Who fall in love with the Friend of her big Brother,but After She find out that actually that boy was the boyfriend of her Brother, over this sort of "love delusion" the Two Boys wasn't aknowledged by the family and apparently die and so the Song Say they both are somewhere toghether close to a lake over the Clouds

I thought this was a tragic gay love story and the flowers were symbolism but someone in the comments said it’s about Narcissus and Echo. I don’t remember there being another person in that legend. I thought Narcissus stared in the lake until he died 0-0 but it’s been a while since I read the legend. I will reread it again.
Ok I remember now. Yea I think the song is a tragic love story between two guys while also being a “rework” of the legend, but with three people instead of two.

After a bit of research on the title (since people were so kind to describe the song) Narcisse means Narcissus, and Noir means black. In Greek mythology Narcissus was a man whom Echoes fell in love with, but she cursed by Zesus's wife to only repeat what other's say. He rejected her pure, true love. So Aphrodite cursed him, he looked into a lake, and fell in love with his own reflection. Now connect the lyrics with the title. : D Lyrical masterminds.

Can't make sense of the lyrics, at first glance it seems like a girl fell in love with her brothers friend who's in love with her brother, who committed suicide together cause society wouldn't accept their love.

Ahh that makes sense to me. I read some other comments saying its related to some kind of mythology about someone falling in love with their reflection in the lake and drowning so I wasn't sure anymore, thanks very much~
That mythologic character had a flower named after him and it's that flower that is referenced in the text. In the language of flowers, narcissus can stand for narcissism and egoism, which might reference the girl telling the story only thinking of herself and her love.
