He’s said even to this day he’s still surprised when he gets a billboard hit. The music is not about that for him. At least not anymore, it it was that. As I can tell from the interviews he’s done, he is very humble and don’t know how to take compliments. He doesn’t think he’s the best. Eminem is indirectly responsible for Power.. even if eminem was trash (which he isn't, his album will probably be the best of 2020 even though I haven't seen people rating it and praising it when it's the best he's put out in years) he put 50 on and 50 himself had such a cultural impact in music and he then went on to make power.. that's just ONE thing Em has done. We all need to show him more respect.
AK you speaking about the Eminem situation is coming from a point of context, you were there listening in real time on his rise when he paid his dues. But the social media pundits that are new, are jumping on the Lord Jamar bandwagon without the context and knowing the history. They hear some of the history but wasn't around for the real actual history, they hear it second hand from one perspective. That is who Em is speaking to in that interview, not the people who grew with his career.
Eminem has respect for him every black order 50 Cent Kendrick Lamar J. Cole logic Joyner Lucas Hopsin Dr. Dre Snoop Dogg lil Wayne Nicki Minaj Drake. I suspect from all of that his friend.

The point they missing is Em is a fan of the arrow. He ain't saying hes the king cuz like he said there are no kings. A lot of people have contributed to it. It's not about being the best it's just embracing the culture
Respects to Eminem for staying humble even in the face of disrespect. He could've easily crossed over to a pop star but always stayed 10 toes down about rap and hip hop culture. I think Eminem gets it. He deserves to be in the conversation amongst he best rappers but at the same time he blew up as a white rapper and he never really tried to pretend to be part of the black culture.

I think hip hop is whatever u can put in it, and make it sound great when u put it out, hip hop is really the only music genre where u can express practically anything and u can do it in the most detailed and complex way.
Em should've just said "I'll let the culture decide if I'm a guest or not. That's up to y'all. I've paid my dues, paid all homage, shown and proven, built a catalog, and left a legacy. I've got a body of work to judge. All I can do is leave it all on the field, put it all on the table, and if I'm still a guest after all that, so be it." To some extent, I feel the way Ak does. It did feel a little plea coppin. But at the same time I understand why he's saying that. He's trying to be magnanimous and respectful. Guests only become housemates by being respectful of their hosts. But guests do sometimes earn their place at the table.
Chorizo And Eminem calls everybody else GOATs too. They're compliments but in reality there's plenty of rappers who have a better resume to be labeled as a better GOAT.

Eminem Should Be Well Appreciated Instead Of Highly Disrespected For What He Has Done For Hip-Hop/Rap POINT BLANK PERIOD! The 276 People Who Disliked This Must Be Strong MGK, Benzino, Nick Cannon & Lord Jamar Fans 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️👎🏽
Let’s see how jamar flip this and get mad lol
Ak’s developed and matured his knowledge of hip-hop so much compared to when he first started off its wild to see. Keep it up guys 🔥
All these comments are majority about Wayno and his boyfriend Jay-Z and the side Chick Meek Mill.
Meek Mandela
Wow.....I actually agree with Akademiks on something. Em doesn't have to answer to Lord Jamar about his place in HipHop, he's earned his spot.
Eminem conversation just aint the same without joe
Wayno ring tone is “New York State Of Mind”
I don’t think he copped out or is being soft. He was being honest. See how fame gets to the heads of most of us? It has not gotten to him. He’s said even to this day he’s still surprised when he gets a billboard hit. The music is not about that for him. At least not anymore, it it was that. As I can tell from the interviews he’s done, he is very humble and don’t know how to take compliments. He doesn’t think he’s the best. If you watch how he speaks about crooked and Royce, and when crooked says somn nice to him he doesn’t respond or switch to somn else. He sounds like a kid with his favourite toy when he speaks about hip-hop. It’s not bout the fame or getting the bag, seems to be something he really loves and he respects it so much. he understand where its coming from. Its cuz he knows and understand. Ya’ll don’t get em. Leave him alone.
AMEN!!
Soooooo the "hip hop" show is not going to talk a out D Smoke opening for Deontay Wilder??????
If he won they would've
Who
They too busy talking about other bs lmao
Devin Boggan facts
D smoke on his way....in the industry.he about to get the Kendrick Lamar treatment....
Big Daddy Kane, Rakim,
Eminem is nice but this PC era got him moving funny so he won’t be canceled and it’s made the music weird and just everything he does off
@Traon Ally yes it has Look at EM old videos of him just chilling, he made fun of people and himself, he had energy and personality. Just look at the up & smoke Tour. In this era he's been squashed to this robotic I'm fake PC eminem taking 1000 photos with Elton John Please gay community don't cancel me guy DAMN :(
wayno is so right nothing happens even if we got a million documentaries. nothing is really solved
Em has the right to defend himself so yeah.

Em kept it on wax and killed Lord Jamar. Yeah your group was off the chain but you were the weakest link. That M interview was great. Em the GOAT.

These Wayno & Jay jokes are hilarious!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Like if em is one of the 🐐
Wayno needs a coaster or a plastic mug! I keep hearing that table tap every 2 minutes!🤣
Respects to Eminem for staying humble even in the face of disrespect. He could've easily crossed over to a pop star but always stayed 10 toes down about rap and hip hop culture. People make jokes but they forget about the history. I don't listen to any of his new shit at all but I can't disrespect the history.
No, he's just humble. He's into Art form
Em is is a goat. Everybody has to realise that there is more than 1 goat in everything. Sports, music, acting, business, medical field, etc...Em has had a phenomenal career in hip hop an he should be honored💯

You’re right but it’s ironic that GOAT stands for greatest of all time, kind of insinuating there’s only one
Thank you. I've been saying that.
I think Eminem gets it. He deserves to be in the conversation amongst he best rappers but at the same time he blew up as a white rapper and he never really tried to pretend to be part of the black culture.
Em is deff ONE of the kings of Hip-Hop
Correct me if I'm wrong but this Em conversation reminds me of people who complain about white girls wanting to be black. There's absolutely nothing wrong with someone wanting to be who they wanna be.
Ak made TOO MANY enemies in hip hop to have a record label.
Em has a song "I am whatever you say I am..." he is an amazing artist.
The way i am, you dumbass
Wayno always has a Jay Z reference to make for almost every conversations😂
Pop was my go to artist the nigga that picked me up in any mood RIP to young baller 👁🗨💫

But it was literally true when wayne said it tho
Darius Bouyer 🤨

Eminem doesn't even have to do much since he's already been rapping since the 90s ..HELLO. Nobody better than Eminem
M'y real question will be what Jamar made for hip hop since 25 years and his last album...
Em brought a lot in that game

Y'all super funny & creative with the Jay Z/Wayno jokes.
Wayno gotta Jay-Z cut out he talk to before he goes on air you can do it lol
I think hip hop is whatever u can put in it, and make it sound great when u put it out, hip hop is really the only music genre where u can express practically anything and u can do it in the most detailed and complex way.
Lol when guest on the show it's cringe worthy sometimes because wayno ask questions he always wanted to ask since he a kid 😂
Em should've just said "I'll let the culture decide if I'm a guest or not. That's up to y'all. I've paid my dues, paid all homage, shown and proven, built a catalog, and left a legacy. I've got a body of work to judge. All I can do is leave it all on the field, put it all on the table, and if I'm still a guest after all that, so be it."
To some extent, I feel the way Ak does. It did feel a little plea coppin. But at the same time I understand why he's saying that. He's trying to be magnanimous and respectful. Guests only become housemates by being respectful of their hosts. But guests do sometimes earn their place at the table.
No one:
Woyno: damned if he do damned if he don't
He never said he was a king, he said he's a God.
Eminem is the best on the planet. Everything and everyone suppose to know that . nobody rap better than him
*Bullshit*
Rakim, Kool G Rap, Biggie, 2Pac, Jay Z, Nas, Ice Cube, Andre 3000, Scarface, Common, Mos Def, Ras Kass, I can go on.
Em was golden to my 15 16 year old ears. Once I hit like 21 all his music did nothing for me 🤷🏾♂️
Chorizo And Eminem calls everybody else GOATs too. They're compliments but in reality there's plenty of rappers who have a better resume to be labeled as a better GOAT.
Unique Bill Nah...even Big L would smoke him.
