Thank you very much. I think it all comes down to personal preference. The defender is great, safe and comfortable but may not suit everyone’s needs. Wrt the trailer, I suggest going and taking a look at what’s available and possibly hire one for a weekend to find one that suits your needs. Take a look at the Bushlapa range also, I’ve never used one but, I’m hearing very good reports about them. Thank you for watching.

Warren you maybe lucky it all depends on the rains. If the rains are late it will be hot and dry and you will be able to go anywhere. If it has been raining the Runde river maybe full and a lot of the tracks will be closed. The causeway may still be open but even then some tracks will be closed on the other side. The bush is beautiful in summer but can also be very dense so you may not see much. Thank you for watching.

I use Tracks 4 Africa and I am also proud to say I (and others) have also recorded all my tracks and sent it to them over the last few years so they have many tracks up to date. They are about to also come out with a new Zim tour guide book which I can’t wait for.
Shock issues again Bruce I would drop the tyre pressures to 1.8 bar but the problem with independent suspension and particularly where you have a significant deviation from vertical the shocks are worked hard this is why most Aussie vans with independent suspension have double shocks. Almarie likes to rub it in "in your face Bruce" 🤣😂🤣😂
😂 let’s not talk about the fishing. I was running 1.5 bar. The funny thing is the Amorok shocks I found in harare have lasted ever since on much worse roads so perhaps it’s a bad or wrong spec of shock that is being used? I guess we fit into that category of "some people" . It is common practice to catch and release the tiger fish. Apparently they are not great fish to eat anyway. But I also think that its like saying what's the point of chasing a white ball around a golf course or taking a picture of an animal or ?
