It’s so wild cause once things are redone here in Italy the prices are insanse. I live in this town, and its beautiful and I would live in this house in a heartbeat lol but that price is seems CRAZY… especially for Citta di Castello lol😂
Absolutely fantastic property in its location!! Love the painting style of walls. Yes, painted ceilings make a room. Usually, I like a lighter shade of the wall color. Then the ceiling can expand the visual space without your feeling like the ceiling will fall on you. I really like the separate space for help or rent out. You've done it again Nick! Thank you!
what a fresh and sleek appeal here! such a welcoming look and style it has :) and a quick walk to all you would otherwise need so that convenience is wonderful! this place has streamlined everything to make life in this townhouse not only eye appealing, but very comfortable too! ample space and a modern graciousness about it :) from the wonderful floors to the lovely colors someone has very nice taste! the parquet flooring is especially beautiful! outside is delightful, a private oasis :) the top terrace is fantastic!!! the separate apartment is ideal :) this is a real find in wonderful umbria!!!!
Italy could easily swing back to its WWII mindset, which never went away in reality. There are plenty of loud and proud, card-carrying members to this day.
Thank you Nick for showing us another lovely home in Italy. What a Beautiful property with truely hideous furniture and art. The black bathroom is just awful. Would love this home, fix that garden up and get rid of all the present owners personal effects. The terraces are spectacular!
Nice place Nick! Looks like the perfect city house. Loved it had a yard + 2 terraces! Now that price, I was way off by about $300,000. I need to brush up on my city house town house prices. Cheers Kirk
I painted my family room all one color, ceiling included, it was wonderful, my color was a tannish (what used to be called English saddle color) sand color, really inviting, soothing color with natural unfinished wood moldings, it segued into my dining room color of teal (on the outside wall(s)) and the kitchen which was a golden yellow on swirled plaster walls, cream colored ceiling(s) with hand chiseled/tooled dark brown wooden beams, all open but very defined spaces with 5 inch unfinished (not stained, but sealed) bleached wood plank flooring throughout. There were French doors in the dining room (front of the south facing house) that led out to a lovely patio area…it very much had a rustic Italian farmhouse look and feel smack dab in the mountain/Lake Sunapee area of New Hampshire…do miss my lovely little house, but definitely not the 6 ft of snow winters every year nor the fall cleanup of leaves…🥶 🥶🥶🥶🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂🍂…living in S. California now and love it…really nice townhouse with wonderful outdoor spaces, but too much for my aging self, thanks for the beautiful tour, tho…💯❤️🫂
Sad to say, I'm past the age of wanting to take care of anyone of the gorgeous restored farmhouses -- love this -- but this? This is juicy and a garden is a must. Thank you!
Ciao Nick, I love everything about this apartment, I am on the fence with the price, it does have a garden area, which is hard to find in the city centers, it does have every amenity a person could want. Plus, the second apartment, can bring in money to offset a mortgage. So, it will up to the buyer to pay or negotiate a price. Tanto amore da N.Y.
Pretty neat property. Colors were interesting. I do prefer the country, but someone will be most happy with this Italian home. The apartment was an added bonus. Thank you Nick!
I've looked at several properties in this town for under €200,000. I love the idea of walking everywhere. It's a pretty townhouse but the decor is too modern for me. I'm more a fan of the tradional home you show with beam & tile ceilings, big, old doors, original floors, etc. I'm sure this appeals to others, though.
The furniture is for sale by negotiation, so you can furnish it however you like, which is what I would do if I was in the position to buy, my main concern would be the several places of water infiltration apparent on the walls, mainly near the windows.
Another nice property. I like the restored flooring, both the tile and wood. I think there would be some serious time spent in the wine room. Thanks, Nick!
If you are going to sell your home, you should declutter, clean, and organize it. It looks dingy, and the colors are too dark, which makes the spaces look smaller. It’s not worth $1.4 million. They must’ve bumped their heads.
@italianproperty - Another crackin' place Nick! 👍👍 I loved those floors, the lift, the terrace(s), and that there's a 2 car garage. Not all the colours were to _my_ liking....but hey! It's just paint, right? 👍 Love the idea of a restaurant just a stone's throw away too ☺️☺️ Well pal, stay safe and happy hunting for the next one 😉 All the best wishes from Nanette and I 🇺🇸🇩🇰
I think the price is valid, its worth it. I think its beautiful, it's got beautiful furniture, lovely features, the history, location right in the centre of things, those floors are divine... yes, i seem to be the only one, but its well worth it.
Good morning from Canada. I guess ‘original charm’ is open to interpretation. It’s good that you show a broad range of styes though, and the property seemed to be very well-maintained. Thank you as always.
Sorry to use your reaction , but I can't write a comment ? Dear Nick ... Your house and in particulair the garden space are so much better . The bathroom indeed , not to my liking . The floor tiles and the kitchen lamp ❤❤. Wish you all a very nice weekend , my fellow Italy dreamers
We are weekly viewers that enjoy your property tours but go a step further by researching the surrounding area. Great geography lesson. Please consider mapping the locations. Tks from south Louisiana.
Whoever is the interior designer deserves a design award plus a magazine feature. Gorgeous. Love the entire colour palette & sophisticated style. Incredible garden & terrace space. Wow. A dream home for me. Another winner, Nick! Thanks for being the bright spot of an abysmal week in the US. Sending love from NY.
Did you say this house in London would be ten times that much yes in CENTRAL LONDON but this house is in Umbria two hours away from Rome the price looks rich or just a touch
The problem with buying something like this is it’s completely someone else’s vision and the accompanying quirkiness. Once you actually see something in person it becomes much less offensive. Strip all those paintings and furniture and paint the place in some warm neutral tones and you’ve got a great place . Most of the places Nick has featured were total no go’s but this one is a winner.
Greetings, Nick! I so enjoy your videos, camera work, personality, lovely demeanor and attitude! I'm not just a lookie loo but actually step by step, trying to find my footing of how and where to move to Italy. Now, of course this could be my ignorance about the real estate in Citta di Castello, however, and I know you are just doing your part to show the property, but I think these clients are way off in their pricing... of course, a property is worth what someone will pay for it, so time will tell, but in my opinion, although a beautiful church building, being right next to the bells of a church would be a 'price reduction' and as far as the bones of the townhouse, other than the original flooring, nicely fitted kitchens, separate laundry room, a bit of outdoor area with side garage and lovely view from the top terrace, the rest was a bit of smoke & mirrors via an upscale paint job. I don't mean to be a Debbie-Downer, just feel like these clients are price gouging... as I was watching, I felt as though I could be on board for around €800k I see this type of simple 'renovation' in Los Angeles, CA all the time and most of the time they get their price, but that's Los Angeles... or West Hollywood, which is where I live. Anyway, I wish them the best, and if they do run into trouble getting their price, maybe some of these comments will help bring them back to planet Earth 😉 If I may request something from you in your videos... would you mind to start adding the info of how far a drive it is to the nearest beach 🏖️ And if you ever get the chance to do any vids of some palazzo's, preferably with three detached walls, cantina, ground floor with grand entrance, first floor living space, second floor bedrooms and rooftop terrace... Oh, and a bit of ground floor outdoor space or courtyard, that would be amazing! That's all... too much? Now you're gonna tell me to come back down to planet Earth 😆 As always, thank you SO much for doing these videos... I haven't found my property yet, but your videos are helping me figure it all out. Thank you 🙏🏼 All my best to you and your lovely family 💛 Love, strength and blessings 🌻 🌈 ~ Alysha
@@susanrim999 Thank you so much for the recommendation. I haven't checked that area out yet... it looks beautiful and in an interesting location. All the best 💛
Overall a really nice house, apart from the black bathroom of horrors. And there's apparently a problem with mould / water coming in (the little toilet upstairs and right underneath the kid's room - it was very obvious).
“If this house was in Albania” it would cost 150.00€ You cannot compare London to Puglia as you cannot compare New York to Bissau. Enough nagging…. I am sorry. Stunning townhouse in a nice setting!!!
Nick, i am always so curious about a couple of things, first the style of bisecting the walls with paint in Italy- like a painted wainscotting. Secondly have the Japanese style Bidet toilets caught on at all in Italy? It’s such a waste of space for two separate things. Thirdly, are there any properties with BIG windows? Are they difficult to approve? I love lots of light and visual space to the outside and rarely see it in these Italian properties. Thanks for speaking to any of these questions! Love your jolly personality and seeing all of these different Italian style properties. - Lisa from California
Gorgeous palazzo with a lot of space and opportunity, with the extra separate apartment, garage and wonderful terraces. Excellent price for its location and wonderful interiors. I love Città di Castello...a great place to live! Thanks Nick 🥰🤗
Buongiorno from Krungthep where the sun bounces of the sides of Wat Arun 😎. Lovely property. I'd switch the dark green walls and ceilings to a lighter colour. Price? My estimate was 1.25 million. Grazie mille.
Hey Nick, sort of unrelated, but you know there are videos out there saying how easy it is to move to Italy from the US and other videos claiming it is a nightmare. Do you know of a decent resource to get some of these answers? Thank you! Cheers!
All the properties on here are so expensive I dont even watch the video. First thing I do is foward to the end to see the price. It's not worth my time if I could never afford it.
But for us who cannot afford these gorgeous properties it's pure, very relaxing, escapism, with some Italian culture thrown in too, educational and interesting.
At that price you would need to have a real kitchen not a studio apartment kitchen. Seriously. I’m done with this channel. I don’t pay for “Yumminess”. If you pay more than $650-700k you will be upside down for at least the next 10-12 years.
The map at the beginning is a great idea.
Very ambitious price…
Wondering if there’s any hope of getting it.
I guessed 2 million! so think it's a bargain!.The separate flat is a bonus and income earner.
Not worth the money. Dingy house.
It’s so wild cause once things are redone here in Italy the prices are insanse. I live in this town, and its beautiful and I would live in this house in a heartbeat lol but that price is seems CRAZY… especially for Citta di Castello lol😂

Perfect mix of old and new and in a spectacular location. Thanks Nick! Wonderful as always!!
Interesting unit, but I don't see the price, though. There is no correlation.
A rare treasure chest of a casa you have found!
Just lovely....but the price is way out of the budget for many of us. More affordable properties would be nice to see, please.
Surprise at the wine cellar ❤
I’m very shocked at the price, guess I’m used to beautiful Abruzzo prices, so much less there.
With the right taste of interior design this place can be awsome:)
