Hi Sandeep and Vijay! I couldn't add my comment in ABN interview, I could see your pain in it. Arjun Reddy is a sensational Hit! Others are just scared that you didn't use stars and got more image and name for the first movie itself! I wanna ans all his 3 points. In the movie
Vijay did respect the woman.
1. Women issue - In the film He was explaining all topics to her, except something he can't teach her at that time. There only we can see that. Secondly, girl comes forward that she is interested to have s*x with him. He didn't force her. Even when he took drugs, tht first girl when power comes he realises immediately, and leaves. He asks anyone available who is interested. He didn't rape right.
With Jiya also she herself comes after he was clear to her. Even grandma and mom understood. NO WOMEN IS DISRESPECTED IN THE FILM.
2. Drugs - He is topper of the college, he was honest, passionate about his work. I don't think guys will only take bad things. Taking drugs hurting himself. He was trying to do for himself with limited quantity. He is matured from the first. He knows what is right its just a phase he faced. Anger management. Yes, he realises in the end. Drugs are not even an issue. In tht case instead of smoking and drinking also should be banned first. Orelse tell them to add a word "smoking, drinking and Drugs are injurious to Health".
3. Making a girl pregnant. He was so confident that that girl belongs to him. He wants to accept someone's baby too. That is his love for her. There are very nice points in the movie.
Loved the movie sir. Kiss is only showing the intensity and emotion. nothing vulgar. Its an A rated movie which means adults do understand right. V are even voting at 18 for the polititians who don't know the subjects only.
My msg maybe lengthy but I wanna tell it connected the youth very well. There is lot of good to take. Couldn't say much. U guys are passionate and rocked it. All the best. Looking forward for more movies.
Sowjanya Sabbavarapu , hi how are you doing? Yesterday I saw this movie and this interview. I read your message . I liked the movie. I just felt something was missing. The whole movie was about arjun's point of view. Prerthi's emotions where not shown much. She struggled for 9 months with a baby within her and no one to help her .Only in the park scene she spoke. There are few things I didn't like about arjun.
1. He slapped preethi
2. He was in relationship with preethi for 4 years but he gave only 6 hours time. And in that six hours he could not keep him conscious.
3. He is a doctor but still he smoke and drink. Be became restless when he had a fight with his girlfriend and took drugs.no one do such things.
He have everything and everyone to support him but I didn't understand why he had to take drugs. What was his educated brain thinking when he was taking drugs.
4. After preethi's marriage he only tried twice to get her back. He should have tried again and again until he gets preethi instead of drinking again and again.
Thank you for reading my message. I just want to talk about this movie more and more and share my feelings.

This so called careful commercial movie makers are not genuine.
They do all kind of vulgar skin show and double meaning stuff by covering it with some vague lines.
A truthful cussing person is better than smiling hypocrite.
HARIKUMARI VEERANALA the thing is he wasn’t taking drugs...he was always either drinking or smoking which is bad I know but the thing is he couldn’t control himself from overly binging on them and so before going to the hospital (because one of his nurses says that its a critical case you havre to come) in the preclimax he was in a state which could be described as a result of overly binging on alcohol and cigarettes. As you’ve seen, his friend comes in his apt and sees him laying. And so he gives drugs to arjun which then gives him some sense of stimulus. And him slapping preeti was because 1. His anger and 2. Because he wanted her to leave him for a moment. Thats the only situation in which he slaps her. Not that he wants to abuse her but to control herself in the public space because she keeps on hugging arjun pleading not to go. And him trying to get preeti back...was foolishness. He already knows that her father is a caste-based guy. And I don’t know with what mental-deviations u saw the movie but he didn’t try getting preeti after her marraige. He went to her house twice before her marriage. And during her marriage he shouts preeti several times but she just keeps her head down and doesn’t even respond. So then he knew that it is her who should make the move.

The Plot line of "Ninnu Kori" (Nani) & "Arjun Reddy" r very similar with a small twist.In "Ninnu Kori" the lover looses the girl while in Arjun Reddy the lover gets his girl.The characters, situations & treatment are very very new with Arjun Reddy though.
Both Sandeep and Vijay are both very frank, and ground to earth. Success didn't get to their heads. I loved their, open and maturity they exhibited in their conversation. Self made guys. I wish both of them lot more success.

Sir, I second your opinion in condemning the act of making the audience repeat the cuss word. Kudos for that. Chances are more that people esp students get attracted to such negative qualities rather than the positives. Maximum people follow Arjun Reddy, the alcoholic.. Very little follow Arjun Reddy, the lover. I really doubt if anyone follows Arjun Reddy, the college topper!! And to a fact, a person who is all the three: as a lover, alcoholic and a topper is only found in movies. Not in the real world! But personally I enjoyed the movie.

He was the most brilliant student, and I was the one he loved the most...., In his career as well his colleagues his frnds, people love him for his honesty and he made some enemies as well n ws an alcoholic ( cigarette) but not know.... I am North Indian n my husband is Telugu and i watched this movie around about 25,30 times just because he is same as my husband. His behavior, his looks, his attitude his love....Love to you Vijay :)

tama reddy bharadwaj gaaru just brilliant questioning ,a highly intellectual conversation , i was completely hooked watching till end (excellent conversation) , even i felt the same way the way he use to come to class and pick that girl up seems bit unconvincing to me coz no one does that in medical college even if someone does , it doesnt look good , and a girl has every right to resist such kind of dominating behaviour , its really good that you bought up this point , that was the only scene where i felt ki the boy should have tried some other way to really impress that girl coz good cultured girls fall for boys who are academically strong and not by mere emotions and sentiments , this i can tell by being a medicine graduate myself , otherwise the whole cinema is really good especially after the interval becoz what he has shown is a reality what one goes through after a love failure it has nothing to do with he being a doctor or not only the common people doesn't know even doctors face such kind of trauma in their lives and the fact that director took the bold desicion to display that emotions was extremely gutsy and laudable, i'm damm sure many medicos like me would have completely resonated with the whole concept and have felt the same way the way i felt about it , i was totally connected with the second half it was that engaging , so i really want to end this comment by saying kudos to director and actor for bringing such a bold and gutsy movie to telugu film industry , vijay totally made justice to the character and my special thanks to the man of the movie director himself sandeep reddy vanga gaaru for actually feeling for medicos and giving a love story for them ,for me its not just a movie it has been a n experience , glad that the movie ended positively becoz in reality many doctors who have loved someone so badly in their lives , wind up being alcoholics and suicide victims to be very honest and this i can say confidently because i'm myself a foreign medical graduate and partly my life is somewhat as same as arjun reddy except that he ended up with his love of his life whereas i didnt , overall a very good movie and an excellent conversation i really hope my comment reaches all three of you good work and god bless and thk u very much for the whole production team for bringing this movie.
