We know he used drugs in his early years, and this subjec was too rude for him.
But he was very selfles and jokingly he said:

But I think this joke realy hurt him.
We don't say someting like that for someone who had depression , and he went through quite a lot of heavy things... abuse, school bullying etc.

I think that's a good question.
I always think people talk to me because I'm in Linkin Park - Chester :( But that could be true.
I know we have different perspective now so it's unfair to judge, but it just seems so ridiculous to me that:
1. They just let it slide that Chester said he doesn't think anyone cares about him as a person, and no one said a thing telling him it's not true. Like, how do you hear anyone say something like that and not care enough to try and reassure him he's loved, and not just for his fame?
2. One of the hosts just casually make a joke about Chester using cocaine... did he not know Chester was a recovering drug addict?
Well to be fair there's a limited amount of time to just focus on one thing, and there's no need to be hypocritical about something if you don't feel it, the only thing I'll give you is the bad joke thing and not because of what you said but because it interrupted the story he was telling, that was actually in bad taste to do that.
Also, it just shows that Chester was saying something that was true and not for the sake of making people feel sorry for him, because let's face it it was true, nobody would care for someone who's not famous, yes we all knew who Chester was, but had he been not famous and met him under other circumstances I guarantee 100% nobody would give a fuck about how he felt cuz that's everyday for people who suffer through depression and any other type of mental illnesses, and I'm tired of the hypocrisy of people who say otherwise.
This interview was awkward. Everyone there seemed very superficial and in my opinion Chester was the only one there with the gift of true talent and was humble about it.

Honestly, I don't find Brandon Boyd attractive, like at all.
Brandon isn’t really all that cute here since he’s a bit older now, but when he was younger I feel like he was a good looking dude. He’s not ugly now though just not as attractive. Chester was also an attractive man as well.
