@@retroreplaysvault It is indeed! I think what I read was that the architecture kind of forced programmers to code in a way that created smooth scrolling, I might try to find the piece again. Of course, not every game managed it. The Vanguard port used block scrolling, still a nice game though (great colours!)
It feels like a different lifetime. I miss these days.

Many are easily obtainable. Many homebrews are also available these days while others are impossible to find.
I probably have about half of this library with the actual cartridges
