Complement taken, my grandmother was from the Netherlands. She spoke pure Dutch. She could speak English obviously but also Dutch mostly at home. I guess to raise me to be bilingual. Unfortunately she passed away about four years ago and I strayed away from the language. Because it reminded me of her and I miss her a lot. But I am now learning it again because I just fell in love with the country and the people even though I don’t live there. And I love Nikkie!

It's so funny to see this as a Dutch person because I feel like her complete character changes with the language somehow. Also some English subtitle translations really do not do her jokes justice. The power of language.
I was also watching and because the language wasn't an issue I could focus on everything else, I did really feel the same way. I was like 'oh okay, now she is a bit different'. Loved it though
it's actually scientifically proven that your personality changes depending on the language you speak. Aren't languages just fascinating haha
I speak several languages and I can 100% confirm for each language I have a different personality 🤣 I think it has to do with learning the culture as well.
Each language also create a new pathway in the brain so that also explains it

I am the only girl / girls in the world, and the word girl cannot be misused by humnz, and words like big also cannot be misused - all big terms / compIiments / royalty terms etc and all gemstone / color / light / nature / flower related terms etc and all love related terms and other big terms etc only reflect me, including all pretty terms and all terms that imply femininity and grace and light / glow / shine aka radiance, and such terms cannot be misused by others in comments about others / oneself or in names etc, and the word Ev(o) that is in Vevo (which is too similar to the big / special name Eve / Eva) cannot be in someone’s name either!

isabel isabel it’s not entirely an American accent though. If you’re a native speaker you clearly notice slight traces of a Dutch accent.
The Netherlands have quite a lot of dutch that can speak English as they learn it there (in school)! A lot of my dutch friends actually speak English with a bit of what you may be referring to as American accent :-)

@@nadirahahmed7359 No we use a lot of the English names in Dutch, so blush, foundation, primer, concealer, eyeliner, setting spray, etc. in English are called just that in Dutch.
