    Oh you got both. Neat. Now i did have a interesting question. Maybe since you got Both systems. I'm kinda annoyed how Hyper gave the MIDdrive version a 10.5ah battery. But left the older hypers to keep the cruddy 7.8ah cell. So my wonder is. Did they make the battery on the mid-drive have longer length for the supposed higher cell ah%. Or can you swipe the Mid-drives battery into the older 29er. If so that means it's compatible with the older models. Might be interested snagging a 10.5ah if that is the thing. Then i won't have to dig into the stock 7.8ah i have on my 26incher and swipe their internal 18650cells that's likely in the battery case and put the more higher 3400/3500mah versions in it to get my own 10.4/10.5ah version in the smaller 26/old 29 version cell.

      The batteries have the same exact length, form factor, and voltage, and are compatible. I and others on the FB group have ridden the 380 WH battery in the hardtail and the 280 WH battery in the mid-drive.
      The only problem with your plan is that Hyper has yet to sell the mid-drive battery without the bike.

      @@MrOscillot Normally people got a extra battery was by calling hyper directly and asking for a replacement. So i bet can do the same. Unless they are being weird in such regard and not giving out replacement batteries of the mid-drive.

    Does the full suspension make any noise over bumps?

    • @MrOscillot
      @MrOscillot  Рік тому +1

      Not any unusual sounds. But yes, the shock and pivots aren't completely silent.

      Yes, look into the Hyper E-Ride 26" MTB and city bike. They are currently $600, but Walmart occasionally lowers the price to $400. www.walmart.com/ip/568743494

    Size appears to be more of a Med/Large with a long reach, high standover and very long wheelbase. For any owners, how tall are you, and do you find the bike too large or just right? Anyone long term ownership opinions and problems please chime in.

    The thing that matters is climbing hills that's the major reason for an e bike

    • @MrOscillot

      Some people buy an e-bike to cover more distance on flat roads. Those people might not need a mid-drive.
