Finally a 2020 regular cab! Looks like a sweet rig. I would maybe pop the black "CHEVROLET" lettering on the tailgate that will give the rear end some pop. They are just vinyl inlays for the "CHEVROLET" stamping on the gate.
Awesome looking truck and plow there.. FYI - I have a brand new set of Western wings for your MVP Plus plow for sale for if interested in the St Paul area. Wings have never been used and are in the box, just recieved them a few weeks ago, dealer sent me the wings for the Plus when I needed wings for MVP 3. Let me know if your interested, the wings are one of the best additons to these plows in my opinion. Per Western they increase the overall plowing width by a foot, add up to 30% more carrying capacity, and minimimze snow spill-off.
@@stufoo I'll bet you thought that was really clever. It might have been if I had actually complained about new tech. It has its place, just as REaL wOrK TrUCKs do.
We just got a 2020 3500 gmc 6.6 gaser extended cab at work and man it’s beautiful, but I think I like single cab Chevy more 😮😮we also use a 10’ western wideout and it handles it like nothing is there
Nice truck! Not sure where you guys are from but hope you guys have a winter that'll help you make your money back on that thing cuz our winter here in ohio has been super lame
Nice truck I also have the new LED plow lights they are heated super bright on hi beam. I paid like extra $400 for the lights. My unit is the stainless fisher HDX same company as western. Thanks
Should have gotten the Sierra 3500 with the multipro tailgate. Unlike the 1500's, the MPT is available on all trims and configs. Also I'm seeing you mention its a 6.0 gasser. Unless you engine swapped it, the 2020 only has the 6.6.
The 16-19 I always thought were the best years for these trucks I got a 16 z71 1500 ltz an the only thing I’d upgrade too would be a Denali HD or a 19 2500hd duramax
Are you still liking the truck? That red is smashing! Any problems? How do you like the new 6.6L gas with the 6-speed auto? I'm interested in a 2022 2500 Double Cab LT 4x4 gas after the chip shortage is solved. One problem I keep seeing online is steering wheel knocking at slow speeds.
How do you like the 6.0 gas over the newer truck with the 6.6 gas gm is now producing. Fuel mileage consumption? Power/torque towing handling? Would love to hear about this topic
@@northernsawyer281 I can go a hell of alot fast backing up With confidence by looking in my rear view and side mirrors than I can looking using a back up camera thats why I unplug the camera and remove the tailgate plus you can back up real to stuff cuz you can see the bumper.
Canada! Place 2 be!! No snow in Canada? Wow. I’m in lower Michigan. Have not needed to plug my duramax in, barely used fuel treatment, used my tractor to plow snow once. Rode the sled once, but had to go north. This winter sux!
certainly a beautiful truck, but buying a truck off the lot and putting a plow on it does not make an "ultimate plow truck". You're missing 2 of the most important things. Get rid of the junk tires, and throw at least 1,000 pounds of counterweight at the tailgate.
Jason's Snow Plowing works great for my needs. I don’t do snow plowing professionally. This is for our business parking lot and driveway. It’s the ultimate truck for my needs.
I been selling automotive parts for 30 years and we sell more front end parts on the Ford SFA then GM. Guys that modify their trucks are the ones with the problems. Just about every storm I get the call for axle joints and seals on the Super Dutys. I have a Vplow on my 2015 Sierra 1500 and no issues at all or my last 2 trucks (2001 2010) that had plows on them.
Eric Johnston The reason we did gas over diesel is we don’t tow with it and don’t want to have to worry about plugging it in, also thought fuel economy may be better
Because you don’t need diesel for plowing and 10,000 lb towing . Today’s gassers are plenty powerful without the $9500.00 diesel option , more expensive maintenance, and emissions nightmare! Screw Diesel !
@@TurboBoysGarage I'm quite curious on the power #s for the 6.6 gas. We don't hear much on them. I've only seen the reveal video of it but no power #s for it.
Dunno if you've ever plowed before but you're limited by traction not "torque" gassers always make better plow trucks, and better everything trucks with how complicated and unreliable modern diesels are
Single cab. Gas. HD. perfect plow truck. 👍🏼.

You forgot to mention the heated steering wheel and seats. haha I'm actually surprised they have that as a option on regular cab trucks.
Congratulations. It should serve you well. A gas job starts when it's cold. Fluid film it/ oil it. It will serve you for years.👍
Good truck, great configuration, sweet colour and in my opinion the best plow with the simplest connection.

To close the tailgate with the key fob you have to keep button depressed while tailgate is raising

Regular cabs don't have the power up gate available. Only LTZ and High Country so double and crew cabs.
not even a salt dog in the bed 'ultimate plow truck'

My 1999 Ford F-350 turbo diesel still plows like a badass
Alejandro Diaz glad to hear it man!
They were not able to keep the bottom lip ? They used to cut it on the older models . I’m talking about the bottom plastic bumper lip
I love the new trucks nice plow to bro
I also have a 2020 3500 and those mirrors are a blind spot for me lol

Push the gate button a 2nd time it will go up or just pick it up about 3 inches and hold it and it will go up......

we painted our wheel wells to match

All that money and you couldn't spend 200 for a snow deflector??? Guess bank only approved so much for your loan.

Nice truck but I wouldn’t use a independent front suspension truck as a plow truck ....unless you do tie rods and axles

95 half ton GMC with an 8 ft Ultra Mount. Never had a problem with the plow affecting the front end. 315k miles.

there's a new 6.6 gas V8 engine for the 2020 models

@@roadglide1142 because in the vid there was no mention of other trucks so I figured this would be used for more then plowing. As in heavy use.
Better off with the diesel though. Much more torque for the plowing.
Ryan Moody really not needed. We only plow at our building, house, and cabin. Probably only do 40-50 hours of plowing a year.

I definitely think a solid front axle is the best choice for snow plowing.
