@@Vincentpanh Vi never really gave a fuck about "Zaun" though. She only cared about her family and friends. Now she has no one left there except for Ekko. And yeah, Ekko is probably gonna be pissed, rightfully so. But I'm not surprised Vi chooses hot rich sniper and luxury over being homeless and getting hunted down by Sevika.
Vi wearing that uniform is gonna break Jinx’s mind more but at this point she’s gonna have to deal with it. She crossed the line.
Who crossed the line? A pink chick who put on police uniform or a blue terrorist who nuke the council tower?
Vi is a traitor to her own kind though. Vi hated them, her parents died fighting them, she stole from them, and was put in jail all those years because of them. Joining them makes no sense at all. Legit just got a girlfriend and switched sides, forgetting how badly they f*cked her over in the past. Jinx did nothing wrong, all is fair in war.
@@riatanina If all is fair in war than what Vi did was fair. Also no, Arcane shows that it’s not as simple as it seems. Why are Vi and Powder’s parents dead? Because they were trying to invade Piltover and the Enforcers have a duty to stop them. As for Jinx, she’s the embodiment of everything wrong in Zaun because she was groomed, abused and manipulated by Silco when she was at her most vulnerable. Shaped into his image and what he loved by making her worst attributes her strongest. And now she’s started a war just when peace was gonna be achieved which will costs the lives of countless, all for nothing but chaos that she hopes will fill a gap in her heart.

But you gotta remember: Piltover has oppressed Zaun for ages, done as they pleased, and gotten filthy rich while Zaun got worse and worse - and despite Zaun being a subsiduary of the overcity, they were only ever treated with suppressive fire. With Zaun's invasion coming from a tipping point, of fed-up, underfed and beaten down people.
Vi and Powder's parents were just one of many regular civillians who desperately wanted a better future - or, to take revenge on those who profitted of their own suffering. They made the wrong choice for their children: whether the decision to fight back, was wrong, PERIOD - that remains to be seen.

@@Soulrak87 It's not a troll. There's a green aquatic looking guy in an enforcer uniform. To give you a visual: he's pretty much a human with green skin, pointy ears, and his face shape is vaguely reminiscent to that of Silco's.
Nothing special though. Don't know why they cropped him out 🤔

I find it funny that so many people seem to take issue with Vi being an Enforcer - aware of her past history in this show as I am - when that's exactly what she is in the games. How about we wait to see how she got there?

The way I think of it, the only way she could ensure that her sister isn't killed by enforcers is if she was the one that caught her. She wouldn't give up on her sister but she wouldn't side with Zaun as Zaun is currently.

that normally is what happens in war, they are in opposing sides of the war, Jinx chooses to fight for Zaon and Vi chooses to fight for Piltover
@@rafaelsantos-nl9jd I'm pretty sure Jinx don't give a seal in french about Zaun, she just want to wreak havoc for her own sake -and pettiness- . Ekko is the one that chooses to fight for Zaun.
@@sanobr318 oh she dont care about Zaun as a city, not like that, she is not Silco, but Jinx was raised to see Zaun as her territory her people, and the topsiders as enemies as the outsiders.
is not a question of "patriotism" or anything like that, is the old Us and Them, by using Piltover colors Vi declare she is not part of the same Us that Jinx is,
Jinx will burn the world, but Zaun is stills her territory her home she is not loyal to it, she owns it.
@@rafaelsantos-nl9jd Jinx doesn't give the slightest of fucks about Zaun or Zaunites. In fact, she killed way more Zaunites than enforcers/Piltoverans. Her primary role as Silco's attack dog was to kill firelights and terrorize Zaunites into submission when they acted up.

i love how so many arcane fans act like vi becoming a cop is the worst thing she could have ever done, because how DARE she, even though there are several good and valid reasons for her to become one if you would just fucking use your brain and THINK, but jinx is literally a mass-murdering and abusive terrorist with absolutely no respect for anyone else or their boundaries, and everyone constantly says she hasn’t “done anything wrong”, even though that is incredibly and very obviously wrong 💀 interesting…

It seems so out of character for Vi to ever be an enforcer. She hates them more than anyone. Its like Malcom X becoming a cop. I just dont see a way of justifying it without completely ruining her character. The writers are goated however so lets give them a chance!
Access to the Jinx-hunting task force, resources (the gauntlets she would need to take Jinx down - she has no chance without hextech, let's be real), a home ... plenty of reasons. She could probably live with Ekko, but he has nowhere near the resources and couldn't repair her gauntlets if they were damaged.
Also, in one of the previews, Caitlyn says she'll shoot Jinx dead on sight. This is probably Vi's compromise so Cait agrees to try and take Jinx down alive.
She is an Enforcer ingame aswell so this is actually part of her lore. The Video "Warriors" from 2020 (iirc) shows her fighting a specific character so its not just to take down Jinx.
So yeah, she is basically a cop ingame and Arcane shows how she ended up as one which is pretty nice

I'm actually surprised that Vi's gonna be an enforcer like in League proper, the writers better have multiple good reasons, since I can't see her doing it just because of Caitlin, or "the streets becoming too dangerous"
As long as she's on the anti-Jinx task force, she has a decent chance of taking down Jinx alive, whereas any other enforcers would just kill Jinx on sight. Pretty sure that's why, other than just not having any way to live in the undercity anymore. She has no home and Sevika would probably have her killed down there. It's either be Caitlyn's live-in girlfriend (oh no, hot lover and lap of luxury, the horror) or languish in poverty before dying violently.
Her only other alternative is to go live with the firelights. I think Ekko has a right to be pissed at her, but not really anyone else.

Vi being an enforcer is kinda like she can still be a bridge for Caitlyn in patrolling Zaun despite sadly the Zaunites can see her as a traitor but she has intention of helping her fellow Zaunites.

She's an enforcer in the original lore of the game(as my friend told me). She probably had an agreement like having control over officers in the underground or something
she has always been a cop in the game. all this arcane stuff is new because she was never originally from zaun to begin with
