Thank you very much for the restoration and the translations (even though I'm able to find my way in the languages presented, but most people don't). Werther is perhaps the opera I've watched more often. My favourite interpretations are: Schipa, Tomás Alcaide, Kraus. I've had the opportunity to see Kraus some 10 or 12 times. If I had to choose only one, I'd choose Alcaide. IMO his is the more intelligent interpretation - and his physical presence on stage could only be rivaled by Kraus.
