Pressure on Low pressure port should equal to the process gas pressure in the tank - Gas pressure will exert in all directions at the same value.

What is to be considered(SG) in calculating LRV and URV if your process fluid is water?
    SG(air)=0.0013
    or SG(water vapour)=0.6218
    Or SG(water)= 1

And what if your tank/vessel is pressurised maintained/controlled at a pressure during normal operations.
How does the pressure affect the calculations?

Hello there, sir can i ask how did you know the specific gravity of diesel at Hp and Specific gravity at Lp 0.008 how did you know that i know the formula for Density = density of subtance /density of refernce how did you get that please sir answer me to calm my mind thank you

Hello, there are two mediums one is diesel and the other is process gas ( when diesel is vaporised it is not going to be condensated to its original state that is diesel again) or it is considered to be air. the specific gravity of Diesel is 0.8 and the specific gravity of air is 0.001 which is almost equal to zero. (0.008 is also equal to zero) This is not going to make any difference in the calculation. Hope your mind is calm.

100 % diesel means how will get process gas SG again. 100 % means Lp side taping point also filled with diesel. Otherwise Lp side tapping point should be above the 100% .

When 100% full tank then diesel goes to dry leg and full of diesel in dry leg LP side🤔 please explain what happen in 100% full tank of dry leg🤔 confused

As far as I know this situation will not arise. Why because the overflow will be just below the low pressure side provision.

Please explain.. when diesel is at its 100% level.. there is still process gas present in the closed tank..and this process gas is continuously exerting pressure on the HP and LP leg. Why did you not consider the process gas static pressure when URV is calculated?

The calculation is done upto low pressure tapping point which is 100 percent of the tank.
And coming back to your question why process gas is not considered at HP side is the process gas acting at this time is very low and the static pressure of process gas is also very low.
