I remember hearing this track on a free CD from the 90s. I bought an Advanced GRAVIS Ultrasound soundcard at Electronics Boutique and received a CD for free with it. There was a DOS MOD tracker included and Space Debris was one of the MOD files. I listened to it probably hundreds of times through the 90s and early 2000s. Love this music, and I'm so glad that Captain is still out there.
Legit wave of nostalgia from this and the post-it note on the monitor. Can tick 'em all!
i was born on 1997 but, the first game i played in my live, was Emerald Mine after this i played Columbus, Monkey Island and more on the Amiga 500 and on the N64 Banjo Kazooie, Super Mario 64 i loved it sooo much, The Amiga was really mi Amiga :) i wished me, that i was born earlier, in the good old times, i like the 90's ;)
Best song amiga ever. tears and chills everytime I listen it
quite simply one of my favorite tunes of all time.
Love that old ProTracker screen. I was a DOS and Macintosh guy because of my draftsman dad in the late 80s. Because of an Amiga 600 gift and later the Amiga Forever pack I've figured out that the Commodore Amiga really was the successor to my C128. Commodore. For. Ever.
Nostalgasm !!!!
This song will never get old for me.
Agree, same here :)
i have to agree a bit more spontaneus --> abso..f...lutely :)
You're right, 2019 and still kicks ass XD
@@simone2059 I'm with you. It blew my mind the first time I heard Captain's music and I still love it all these years later.
@@the1marauder2 Amen =)
Never gets old and always giving a big smile after listening.
How many times I shed tears when I heard this beautiful and awesome song!! #masterpiece
This is the most fancy and charming presentation of Amiga content... Very good! And the To-Do list... LOL... :D
Qué temazo Dios!! AMIGA 4Ever!
I've been wanting to listen to this for almost 30 years. Thank you.
one of the best music ever made on the amiga, also lovely backdrop / monitor.
Crazy, feels like it was yesterday but it must be over 20 years ago I last heard this. Million thanks for putting this up!
One of my favs. I still have this on my laptop: 336kb.
+Josh-Daniel Davis (xaminmo) This. Just found it on a 64 scene archive, and it will stay on my computer forever now. I'm in love. *whistles along with the awesomeness*
@@Aikisbest And also Klisjepaaklisje
Me too. All of Captain's mods are in my regular playlist and have been since I first heard them. :)
Still fantastic in 2021 !!
This was the first amiga tracker I've found online. It never gets old.
oh greaaat! I like it , as a game composer I can say this is something espectacular!
Awesome! This is permanent addition to my UA-cam music list.
A Masterpiece
so cold feeling back to the childhood
My father used to have a radio receiver somehow hooked up to our 286 PC via serial port, allowing us to play tracker music through it without the need for sound card. Until today, I have not found, how he did it. This was one of the songs, I kept listening to over and over again.
Love the way you present this amiga stuff! Awesome!
Those times are times that I really miss :(
Thanks a lot for this one Tom.
Yeah, its nostalgic as hell ;-) If they invent a time machine, I'll be sure to stop by one night at my own place and just listen to old modules in protracker :D
Never owned an Amiga but still had my Atari ST until I moved to the states. Myself and a friend used to stay up all night at his Dad's house playing The Settlers on his Amiga 500. Everything about the Amiga was great, the sound was amazing for its time. Those were great days!
Ah P-Gen my beloved
Nostalgic
Liked, Subscribed, Shared, and Rated! This is truly awesome music.
Awesome
Amigaaaaah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I REMEBER HEARING THIS IN A PS2 MULTI GAME DVD
Awesome sound quality on this classic
Rochard OST - Space Debris (Spacesynth Remix)
Yeah, the nightclub level was epic - I kept failing just so I could listen to this!
Then spent the extra for the "Special Edition" upgrade so I could get the Digital OST, just for this song!
Also check out "XayberOptix - Space Debris 2010 Reloaded (original Amiga MOD by Markus "Captain" Kaarlonen)" if interested in a trancey version.
@@peterarlington223 The soundtrack is available on BandCamp, I bought it there
This song reminds me of Futurama for some reason.
Cult mod from the past, beautiful!
Not just for headphones. Play this on your surround sound receiver in your favorite music surround mode.
wow 30
yearS
Also very nice picture, nice kind of light-shading there in it. It looks painted and real at once :), it fits exactly to such a tune and the 'Amiga spirit' ;).
wow!
sick!

Amiga o7
Wow, what was done to the audio in this? It sounds really awesome quality!
I have the original .MOD of this, nothing was done to it. Both playing it back in ProTracker for Windows and AIMP result in what you hear here. :D
I have the original MOD as well, but for some reason your UA-cam upload sounds a little cleaner for some reason. I have no idea if it's just in my head or if there really some difference.
AlphaCrucis check your interpolation
Which interpolation is recommended?
"Only Amiga makes it possible!" What was done? It's simple - it was created on the Amiga!
Please Add Link to MP3
this is MUCH MORE GODGODGOD than Jesus
Was this from a game? Or on some album?
There is a remix by Captain himself featured on the game "Rochard" from 2011. It is also used in "Need For Madness Revised and Recharged 2" for Stage 34, a custom game based on the original Need For Madness
Amiga has an ingenious user interface. IBM and Microsoft had nothing. Commorode went bankrupt. Others stayed and built things over the years in a piecemail fashion. Next step for Commorode would be 16 channel sound in 32 bit
How does one aquire a floppy version of this song?🤷♂️
what does "dolby headphone" mean, sounds like normal stereo
Raw Amiga audio sounds quite different (with headphones)
Idea is to make Amiga audio more tolerable for headphones. YMMV
PGEN
Some1 should remake a metal version of this! ;D

Fake VU meter? Pathetic. Real VU settings are best! Also what you see in picture i had for real. Those joysticks lol, nothing like today joysticks with real axes. :D
