Your route to Auo Leuk was wrong. With your back to the beach in Mae Haad go up the Songserm ferry road to the top (main road), turn right towards Chaolok and 2nd left then you will see the entrance to the bay. A lot quieter than Freedom beach and again B50 entry and parking.
Looks like Google maps took us in the wrong place, it took us to a restaurant that is closed, but its by a beach.... Oh well next time!! The weather that week was very windy and a lot of rain so was actually quite stormy.... But hey appreciate it, definitely will know for next time, :D
